The highly anticipated AJ1 Dark Mocha recently released on October 31st and is said to be the best Jordan 1 colorways of 2020 by many sneakerheads. Jordan Brand has released a variety of different colorways in the Jordan 1 model but there may not be many better than this one! Our very own Vick Almighty adds his own twist on the highly coveted sneaker by aging the sneaker to give it a vintage look. He also incorporates a Travis Scott twist that makes the shoe pop!

Yeah same for me, but this kind of custom as to be well think before i guess, and he pretty much did a freestyle custom, at the end it looks nice to me, but if you compare it to the artist inspiration behind it not look as good, I’m pretty sure that this kind of custom skill goes better and better with the time
it looks good in moderation but when you over do the scuffing and staining, especially if the shoe has no creases, just looks odd and overbeat.

I have pair 4s that I own like this. They ain't best up or nothing but they got patina. They were a 2009 release. I take very good care of my kicks but these developed a bit of patina and I love it.

The scuffing was a bad idea. The cross stitching over the seams was cool would look good on its own custom I think. @will3cook

The paisley print goes so hard. Not a huge fan of the distressed look but I fuck with some of the custom work you did here (tongue, added stitch detailing, and ankle collar look sick). Either way, thanks for the content.

I used to build model cars as a hobby. But my kids started trying to play with them, ofcource didn't work out so good so i stopped a few years ago we in this house mainly only buy Jordan's and the kids destroy em fast mine n my daughter's we wear very carefully I am from Toronto so our weather is whack so on nice days I bust em out. Anyway first I wanna start restoring and cleaning then start small custom stuff for us. I also find so many J's and other shoes at value village like thrift stores I got lots of ideas now from u so thank you forever a fan Thomas Dunphy 😎😎

Take a tip from the prop industry, if you’re going to age/distress/weather try tell a story with it. The makes you make should make sense. How did the collar overlays get scuffed? How does the body move causing the stitching to fail? Did someone spill something to make this stain?
