Thanks so much for watching the film guys! Out of interest, what style of videos you prefer to see? This one is pretty much a straight up vlog/mostly storytelling. Do you want more of that or are the more informative travel guides better for you? 😊 Ps, there will probably be a longer wait for the next episode. I'm way out in the countryside with little internet and time to get the next edit done. Please bear with me!
This was as informative as the rest of the videos you've made dude! Just because you didn't have the locations listed doesn't mean you didn't give us a feel of what the places were like 😉 As long as the video has a theme or overarching narrative or some realization at the end, which pretty much all your films do, then I'm happy to watch em.✌
Your films are very enjoyable to watch. I can see you have spent some time editing it. I like the one in Lijiang. But any style suits me fine. I just like to see different places.
It’s a bit shameful that as a native, I haven’t traveled many of these places more than you guys had! You have definitely inspired me to get to know more about the hidden beauty of my motherland! You fellows are always welcomed to China! 😄
Omg guys! First of all - your editing is absolutely amazing! Secondly we’re thinking about going to China (we’re not sure yet) but your video make us want to go. So many hilarious moments - the dog, translation to English and yeah load of people 😊 c/t Happy to discover your channel!
Kristyna & Romain hey guys, thank you so much! Means a lot coming from you! You should definitely go to China - it's unlike any trip I've ever taken before. You will love it 😊
Thanks for introducing us to the Rainbow Mountains as not heard of them before. So busy but good to know you can find some peace and quite and enjoy this area and the spectacular views. Great video, love your natural narrative, it certainly looked a great day.
Excellent video. I am currently working in China so it's awesome to see some travel videos. I plan to do my own China series shortly. The mountain looks truly amazing. I will be checking this out. New subscriber.
so beautiful! I guess China is so big that it is bound to have more than one type of climate, but I'm totally with you! I never expected to see a desert landscape like that! and those rainbow mountains were gorgeous! The crowds would've put me off, but I'm glad that there are places that you can go to get away from the crowds to enjoy a moment in beautiful nature.
the editing is once again spot-on! those are just so beautiful. the views are amazing. it's like a different side of China but there's still so much people. thanks for sharing! c/t
Gorgeous footage. Thanks for sharing. In terms of the next vid, no worries. I like the vlog format and will be anxiously awaiting the next installment :) .
so beautiful!! i've been to the danxia park, but never went to the quiet park you guys went in the beginning of the film!! glad that you discovered the deep china that most chinese didn't even see themselves! looking forward to the next episode!
No way!! We went here! Love the shots you have of it!! Makes me want to go back! We found something similar in Kyrgyzstan too, thankfully had the drone that day ;-) Also noticed, you're called Emma, SNAP ;-) ...oh and you sound like your hometown might be near by lol! we're in Sheffield ....anyway, happy travels! :-)
Thank you, I just subscribed, this video is breathtaking. I love mountains, so, this is so special. You have made my day. Please keep bringing more adventures to us.❤️❤️❤️
I can't believe there are a thousand subscribers. If your video slow down the pace a little bit, add some relaxing music. I am sure your will get more subscribers. With such beautiful view, people want to enjoy it slowly:)
the views on the train ride is awesome too... curious what is causing the different colors on the mountain... more vlogs/storytelling... love your work man... Keep it up :)
Amazing shots! I had no idea this was in China either - completely agree that it looks like a national park in Utah or Arizona. Lol at those translations haha and the vicious wildlife :) Great video, I loved your editing and I'm so happy you got to avoid those horrific boardwalks and find some peace to appreciate that landscape. It looked breathtaking.
I discovered about them quite recently because a chinese friend went there. before that I knew only about the ones in peru. very very cool, they look awsome! and cool vlog!
Might have asked it in another China video already, but when were you here? The shots are amazing, as usual! Looks great spending so much time there and getting a away from the crowd. When I was there we had to rush through (work). Love the China vlogs
I left China with the same feeling. It was nothing like what I was expecting before I arrived. True, some of the popular places are over-touristic and quite kitsch sometimes but there are so many hidden gems that you can find and have all to yourself if you truly look. Love the messages of you films mate, I can really relate! That google translate sign had me floored btw 😂😭👌
Great to hear you had a similar feeling mate! Weirdly I expected the over-tourism aspect, but I never expected how many hidden gems there would be. Such an interesting country! Thanks for your support as always! Translated signs are the best haha
hahah your so funny, definitely not so family friendly and the google translate had me in stitches. All of the scenery you shot were amazing! i can see why it was one of the bests days you've had in China.
Thanks for this. The muted colours really belie the tantalising name of Rainbow Mountain. Beautiful, but the expectations raised by so many fake still shots really detract from the real. Appreciate your honest photography.
Man so many natural wonders in China and the terrain is not what I would have expected for China. Those mountains were beautiful loved all the colors could not get enough of it!
I didn't even now about the Rainbow mountains in China. I had heard about the ones in South America. Glad you were able to get away from the crowds. Oh and glad the "dangerous wildlife" didn't bother you too much!
We get why this was a special day - these mountains are absolutely stunning 😀! Would love to see them for ourselves once. This really wants us to travel China and visit all the national parks. We're just a little worried about very crowded places 😅. We enjoy these kind of videos a lot, the length was also perfect! Keep it coming!
Oooh, I've heard about this place thanks to all the doctored photos of the mountains on Pinterest! lol. :) Nice to see them as they truly are. Danxia really does look a lot like the US or Australia, I would not have guessed that this was in China! Rofl at the non family friendly rocks and awww at the translation. Such huge crowds at the Rainbow Mountains though - good that you can get away to find peace!
Thoughts when watching the first 20 seconds "Have I stumbled across Planet Earth 3 or something?" I mean god damn, I need to up my game and steel your skills. Do you spend a lot of time planning your shots so they tell a cohesive story in editing? Filthy rocks. That description is on point. I completely understood what they were informing you about the rocks 🙈
Ella in Wanderlust thanks Ella! You have a pretty damn strong b-roll game yourself, so you don't need any help from me! Haha I definitely needed you to be here as my translator 😂
Ella in Wanderlust oh yeah, there was a question there too. I usually form the story as I'm shooting tbh. I write down a lot of notes on phone as I shoot (so I don't forget during the edit). But sometimes I make it all up in post. I very very rarely have an idea before I shoot
Glad it cleared up from the morning rain. yeah totally looks like a NP in Utah, had no idea this existed in China at first. Glad you found a quieter area, reminds me of the Painted Desert. Really stunning.
This tourist route has a better scenery. Travelers should pay attention to the altitude sickness and the inconvenience caused by it. Grassland, blue sky, aurora, desert reflection, the Potala Palace in Tibet, etc., as well as unique local fruits, dried fruits, etc.
The crowds in China seem to be an ongoing theme in your videos like the one about the salt lake. It's great that you managed to get to more secluded spots for both. The rainbow mountains are beautiful.
The parts of the park with fewer tourists looked amazing. I would love to do some backcountry exploring there. How many days do you think it would take to see all of most of the park?
I'm not sure that it's possible to do any exploring off the tourist path in any of the parks around there.... I might be wrong though. A long day was good enough to see the majority of the sights!
Now that's very interesting. I has known about the rainbow mountains in Peru and I've been wanting to visit there. I hadn't known about the Chinese ones so far, so thanks for this informative video on those. Love the cinematic videography & editing. The countryside looks so green & serene. The views from atop the mountains are incredible. Good to know you could find some quieter sections. It so gorgeous!
Wow. That view from the train at 1:02 is stunning. This felt so epic to watch! LOL at the "filth" rocks :P The quieter sections with not so many people looked amazing... We always think how much Chinese people we see everywhere we travel (In Mexico, Canada, Peru, Greece, Turkey... Chinese travel everywhere!) so it's so cool seeing them in their own country. Someday we will visit China too!
Just...WOW. This was riveting! It was surreal for us because it looks so much like places we've been to here in Utah. Crazy to think this is China! We'd be right along side you, getting as far away from the gobs of people and touristy activities as possible. We can see why this was your best day in China. Glad the sun came out for you! And thanks again for making us laugh :-D
hey Wayne, I had a feeling you might like this one! The landscapes do seem reminiscent of what I've seen in your videos. Thanks for your support as always 😊
So glad you got to enjoy a day in China, finally. You've been rained out so many times. Yeah, the rock formations totally reminded me of Bryce Canyon in Utah. I seriously laughed at the family friendly rocks comment, and that sign? Best translation ever. Another amazing video...seriously. Wondering when China's tourism bureau starts sending you royalty checks...
Haha it's true, I thought this day would be a wash out too! I would actually love to know what that sign was meant to say... It will remain one of the great mysteries of China. Thanks Brian, always appreciate your support!
Amazing place and when you have it to yourself even more so! Thanks for sharing! Btw, where are you guys now? We are in Ngapali, Myanmar at the beach :p
Timezone Junkies hey guys, I was going to send you a message actually (but as you have probably realised, the wifi in Myanmar is pretty shocking). We are in Bagan at the moment, we leave in a couple of days for Mandalay. Ngapali looks awesome!
One Shot Adventures ahh we left Bagan 4 days ago! After Mandalay where are you going? Have you been to Hpa-An? We went there at the beginning of our trip and it will also be our last destination before heading back to the Thai border (Mae Sot).
One Shot Adventures ohh and we bought a MPT SIM card for 1500 kyat and it costs 1000 kyat/gb so very cheap and it works 100 times better than the wifi here 😊
Timezone Junkies ah SIM card would have been a great shout! Damn, we just missed each other in Bagan then! We got here 2 days ago! We fly from Mandalay back to Bangkok and we're meeting up with some family for a couple of weeks. Then Malaysia for Christmas. What about you guys?
I would love to go to see the Rainbow mountains. If I were travelling from Europe where would I fly to and are there tour companies who would do the treks/trips? Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you.Naomi
The utterly melted+devastated red brick castles palaces+buildings do look very similar no matter where you may be located viewing them reaching all 4 corners of our earth!
There is always a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow..and looks like you found it in those amazing mountains! Looks like you had Danxia national park to yourself! So cool. Wow I could spend days there..yeah it is like the Sedona of China...ah everyone is at rainbow mountains... I know how you feel, when we were in Sedona we hiked to the Devils hole and it was a circus show there, and hard to absorb the beauty around. We did the same thing, found the trails less travelled there and found so many surprises. Are there any multi day hikes in Danxia? Keep given er guys, thanks for opening up my eyes to Danxia. Sweet we were in XiAn, be cool to see how it has changed...and stayed the same.
Brother Dunne I didn't actually hear about any multi day hiking in the Danxia area. Pretty sure there was no camping allowed, which is a shame! Could be wrong though as the area is pretty huge. Always good to find the path less travelled, I know you guys are pretty good at that! Thanks for watching and for your support as always!
WOW this looks like something near the Grand Canyon, not China lol But that is exactly what I love about it, never know what you will find when you go off exploring! The nature around that area is beautiful!!! c/t
Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from sky, and we produce thereby fruits of varying colors? And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying sades and (some) extremely black. (Sura 35 : Aya 27)Holy Qur-aan
Another beautifully done video! I thought the rainbow mountains were only in Peru (?? not even sure if that's where the other rainbow mountain is, haha)... The journey to Rainbow Mountains looked so beautiful. Definitely looks more peaceful than most China videos I've seen :) Question on gear... What do you use to stabilize your shots?
Thanks so much! You are right, the more famous rainbow mountains are in Peru! They do look amazing as well. I have the Zhiyun Crane v2 gimbal which I used for a few shots in this video. I like it, but I find that I'm using it less and less when I travel. I kind of regret not getting a drone instead...
@@OneShotAdventures I think I bought that crane once but couldn't figure out how to balance my camera so I had to return it :( I have a drone but I rarely use it because it makes me so nervous LOL. I'm going to try and use it more starting next year!
Hahaha, I like the subtle comical relief you provide (like "vicious wildlife") and the more overt stuff too! April is curious, does Emma wear sunscreen? She says she has such nice, fair skin that she has to... :) What was your favorite part of this day? What was Emma's?
Thanks Wayne and April! Yes, we both need to wear sunscreen all the time (even if we forget some days) - we get burnt very easily haha. Both of our favourite part was just walking around that first section of the park. It was such a nice surprise!
Haha, yep! April & I have each realized that since we left FL, we have become more fair-skinned, so burn more easily. I can see why it's your favorites
omg! the translation! sooooo funny! the mountain looks beautiful! over-tourism does ruin things a little bit, doesnt it? people always think china is a crowded congested place but there are some gorgeous areas in the mountains...which i haven't experienced yet. its on the list! ~sara c/t
It definitely is a very congested country in the cities, but there's still some peaceful spots to be found! Hope you guys make it there, would to see your take on it :)
Rainbow mountain stated in Quran, Sura fatir, chapter 35, verse 27. وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ جُدَدُۢ بِيضٞ وَحُمۡرٞ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٞ (Yusuf Ali) And in the mountains are tracts white and red, of various shades of colour, and black intense in hue. (Sahih International) And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black. Those are other version of translation. Thanks
lol at the translation! What a place. Must've been even more incredible without seeing it through a lens. You have to get up earlier to avoid the masses of tourists 😜
Rob's Quest I've gotta say, it's one of those places that looks just as good in real life and in pictures. Haha I don't think the early morning trick works so well in China. Always crowds!
Thanks so much for watching the film guys! Out of interest, what style of videos you prefer to see? This one is pretty much a straight up vlog/mostly storytelling. Do you want more of that or are the more informative travel guides better for you? 😊

It's a really cool area, I would definitely recommend it. Especially if you enjoy hiking :) Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much for sharing, wonderful pictures.
You're welcome
Those mountains in China are authentic beauty, and it makes sense to visit. It looks like somebody painted them or like you been in the moon.
It really didn't look real!
Great Video. I love the cinematography!

The train only gets you so far, you really need a car to do some proper exploring as the train station is about 40 minutes away from the national park

Yeah it's crazy, most Chinese people travel within their own country too - there's so much to see there, so I don't blame them
Now I've seen all your videos, so watched it again :)
Thanks
waiting for more episodes!!
tomyanxin new episode is coming today 😊😊
Sure thing! Keep it up!
I dn't knew before china is so beautifull.place ❤
So glad you got to enjoy a day in China, finally. You've been rained out so many times. Yeah, the rock formations totally reminded me of Bryce Canyon in Utah. I seriously laughed at the family friendly rocks comment, and that sign? Best translation ever. Another amazing video...seriously. Wondering when China's tourism bureau starts sending you royalty checks...
Haha it's true, I thought this day would be a wash out too! I would actually love to know what that sign was meant to say... It will remain one of the great mysteries of China. Thanks Brian, always appreciate your support!
@@OneShotAdventures Always happy to provide support. Your content is superb, really it is (I just listed you on my Fav Channel list on my channel).
@@AdventureEverywhere Thank you Brian! That means a lot!
@@OneShotAdventures Totally deserved, Ryan.
SO beautiful and colorful!
Wow! Now I really want to see this place.
Hope you make it there 😊
keep doing your work ...its amazing ...i am from india
I'm a Muslim. And these mountains are mentioned in our Holy Quran.😘
yes❤❤❤
Nothing holy about a quran
I would love to go to see the Rainbow mountains. If I were travelling from Europe where would I fly to and are there tour companies who would do the treks/trips? Any advice would really be appreciated. Thank you.Naomi
man you guys are lucky because you god chance stand for traveling inner beauty of china even myself still haven't been there
It is mention in quran surah Patir verse 17, rainbow mountain
This was epic! I did a video on Rainbow Mountain as well, including altitude sickness! 😳
nice edit man!!!!
aarongreenway222 thanks Aaron!
great video , amazing
Thanks!
I don't know if it's the music but your video makes me tearing up.
Wow, thank you!
@@OneShotAdventures sweet good to know. Have an awesome day.
@@21Swayzee Thanks man, you too!
I love mountains
WOW this looks like something near the Grand Canyon, not China lol But that is exactly what I love about it, never know what you will find when you go off exploring! The nature around that area is beautiful!!! c/t
It really does! Thanks for watching Ashley!
Travel Pockets they are a nightmare to balance! Haha having a drone would scare me too, both with the law and just losing it!
@@OneShotAdventures Good to know that I wasn't the only one having a hard time balancing that thing :)
I would love to go, find a remote spot and just bask in a moment as my ancestors did before me
This place looks surprisingly similar to Zabriskie point in Death valley national park, so weird!
The Travels Of Z yeah it's pretty crazy, right?
What an epic day, the rainbow mountains although busy looked really cool! Sad to see how they are taking away from the nature though!
Touring Tastebuds it is a shame, but luckily it's much more peaceful when you get deeper into the park 😊
Thanks for sharing!
It's 丹霞地貌 Lots similar place in Xinjiang.
Max Williams I would love to visit there one day!
omg! the translation! sooooo funny! the mountain looks beautiful! over-tourism does ruin things a little bit, doesnt it? people always think china is a crowded congested place but there are some gorgeous areas in the mountains...which i haven't experienced yet. its on the list! ~sara c/t
not sure why we havent subbed you yet but just did! #703
It definitely is a very congested country in the cities, but there's still some peaceful spots to be found! Hope you guys make it there, would to see your take on it :)
Similar to (Cafayate, Argentina - Utah United States - Cappadocia Turkey. )
Rainbow mountain stated in Quran, Sura fatir, chapter 35, verse 27.
وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ جُدَدُۢ بِيضٞ وَحُمۡرٞ مُّخۡتَلِفٌ أَلۡوَٰنُهَا وَغَرَابِيبُ سُودٞ
(Yusuf Ali)
And in the mountains are tracts white and red, of various shades of colour, and black intense in hue.
(Sahih International)
And in the mountains are tracts, white and red of varying shades and [some] extremely black.
1400years ago it was written that there are rainbow mountain in the world and here we are subhanallah
Is this the location of shooting film Mulan?🤔
