Understanding Teen Dating Violence: What Educators and Youth Workers Need to Know

Learning Objectives:Teachers, coaches, school personnel, youth leaders, and other youth-serving professionals play an important role in preventing teen dating violence. In this webinar, we will talk about the risk factors and warning signs of teen dating violence, how to talk to teens about relationships, and the youth worker's role in promoting healthy teen relationships. After this webinar, participants will have a greater understanding of Teen Dating Violence, an awareness of the generational/cultural aspects of dating, and the building blocks for creating compassionate and empathetic support systems for youth experiencing dating violence.
