Behavioral health crises come in many forms, and most don’t fit neatly into categorical service boxes. Together, we are supporting school-aged youth, regardless of insurance and level of acuity by:
-Standing up 10 community-wide teams across WA to provide behavioral health navigation to support local children, youth and families.
-Convening multi-system disciplinary teams by pulling together community partners who can support the child and family in accessing what they are seeking.
-Creating and keeping current local website portals of behavioral health resources and information for kids, families, providers, and communities.
Join the KMHWA teams, Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), and Health Care Authority (HCA)for a panel discussion about bringing community into the youth behavioral health care continuum. Objectives include:
-Connecting attendees to their local teams in the tiered, statewide roll out.
-Analyzing and applying data created and applied by the teams to inform serving local families and partners.
-Reviewing examples of local wins and lessons learned/
-Increasing knowledge of the KMHWA model components addressing multi-systemic influences impacting youth and families.
