2 and 4, but i would have hidden the laces on 4. Then again, I can only aspire to have a fashion game this on point.
You should try out some clean leather laceless (but not chelsea) boots. They're a fun and fashionable replacement for more formal shoes.

I agree, best choice. A gold velvet smoking jacket might not be the first choice that comes to mind, but it's like one of those pieces which you'll absolutely love only after you've tried them.

The tuxedos are very sharp, especially #1 that stands out in a classy way. Outfit #2 is probably my favorite. I think dark turtlenecks with dark suits is an underutilized look in the colder months, IMO. It's a nice way to not be quite so formal with a tie paired with a suit, but still stylish.
Agreed. There is a casual elegance to a suit with a turtleneck that is hard to match.

Actually, before the burgundy was a black watch plaid flannel and that fabric was also sold out. I think it was fate that I ended up with the gold.

Having seen the gold dinner jacket over on IG a few weeks back, I definitely thought it was brown! Looks much nicer on video :) Were I to get one done, I'd probably do a bottle green and keep those gorgeous lapels.

All of the outfits are superb. The dinner jacket is the bomb! If I had to vote for a favorite ensemble, the Sartorial Look (#4) is my pick, as I am a sucker for olive green and it pairs so well with the gray trousers and brown cardigan. Michael Browne is great. Reminds me of Edward and Tommy Nutter back in the day but with a contemporary sensibility. Watch. Yes, that's the Patek 5711 Nautilus. Acquired miraculously at retail in April of this year. They're exceptionally (and infamously) hard to come by, which makes them ridiculously overpriced on the secondary market.

Rather tom ford ish if you will aswell.

My favorite outfit was definitely the gray suit with the turtleneck. I actually have a few questions regarding dressing smarter. Can I wear a dark pair of jeans with a cardigan and tie? And if so, what kind of tie? I especially like ancient madder silk ties. Also, what about pairing jeans with a turtleneck and blazer? Or do these items contrast too much with eachother? Thank you in advance. Loving the high influx of videos lately!
You're asking me about wearing a tie with jeans at an interesting time in my own personal style journey. At this point, I'm not really feeling it as I feel it's a pretty stark contrast and it isn't working for me at the moment. However, I think if it's the right kind of tie--like a knit tie--it would be okay. Same thing with jeans and a blazer. For years, this has been a standard business casual look, but at this point in my life, I'm over it. For me a nice pair of slacks, button-up, and blazer is more business casual than jeans with a blazer. As always, the choice is yours. Just giving you my opinion!

Interesting! People always ping me for wearing them too short. I prefer them to just kiss the top of my shoe. Which do you think is too long by your standards?
He Spoke Style hahaha everyone has his own taste. I hate stacking trousers, because the pleats break and it doesn’t look as elegant as if they are cropped or a little bit shorter, so they don’t touch the shoes. Another reason why I think cropped/shortened trousers look better is that your shoes aren’t hidden. Then they look much more beautiful.
For me, the silhouette is very important. And when there are stacking trousers, it just breaks up the whole look.
That’s my point of view, if you wear suit-trousers or a complete suit. Jeans or any other trousers are an other topic
He Spoke Style but there are exceptions. I like stacking trousers, if the look is very chilled out and casual. But I think if the look shell be elegant, shorter trousers look better
