Thank you so much for the shoutout Andrew! We’re thrilled and honored to be recognized by such a respected voice in technology. ❤ We’re only just getting started. 😏
Arc is the best change I've made in the past 5 years. Phenomenal user experience - it's so beyond the other browsers I don't know how it isn't bigger. Massive upgrades to my workflow!
200% yes on Arc, it completely solved my tab hoarding issues. It’s a browser that just feels better in a huh I wasn’t paying attention to all these paper cuts until they were gone sort of way. That was my impression after 2-3 weeks of using it, now after several months it’s just gotten better and better.
I know it's taken a lot of flak, but I absolutely love my Pixel Tablet. It's my favorite piece of tech I've picked up in years and the excuse I've needed to justify owning a tablet.
@@WHITEPERSUAS1ON It serves nearly all the purposes of a full smart display as well as all the perks of a portable android tablet. Plus software wise, Google has introduced some really nice tablet specific features (even if Apple and Samsung have had them for years) And to top it off, the hardware is super clean and feels great. Absolutely no fingerprints on the body of the tablet ever.
I'd be interested to hear Marques do audio simply because I've found his thoughts on audio so far to be based purely on what's popular, and using that as a baseline, and often doesn't have the most complex thoughts on the sound quality of different devices. It's not like he's busting out frequency response graphs.
@@charliebaker1427 LTT generally makes fairly normie oriented content. That's the whole point: tech tips for those who aren't deeply tech literate. Some of their writers are audiophiles, though.
I sold my AirPods Max to get some cheaper open back Phillips headphones that were wired so I could use Apple Music lossless, it was a fantastic decision and I won't consider wireless headphones again for long listening.
@sascha7475 yeah bro same , losing my buds, battery degrading so much after 2 years because its tiny , lossy audio and paying 100€ for that is so fun and makes so much sense 😀 Also they are pollution because the battery or anything cant be replaced or repaired, you just have to get a new whole thing Only the fact that you need to charge a pair of earbuds/ headphones is feeling so stupid.
Yeah. I have both. I think people need to realize that Bluetooth isn't ideal for sound quality. I use my airpods pro at work and for mostly podcasts and all the non music stuff. But I have a few iems and wired headphones and dacs for actual music listening when I want to.
@@wheelyflacI have worked in garbage segregation before and I have seen more wired headphones/headset thrown compared to wireless earbuds or cases. For wireless earbuds, Apple's 2nd gen airpods are more common. This is just in my country in South East Asia, I can't the same for Western countries. My estimate ratio is like 1:15, I'll see one wireless earbuds out of 15 wired earphones.
Id like to see Andrew do a 1-3 month review of the iPhone 15 pro. Seeing as he's used mainly Pixels and recently the Zen Phone I feel like he would have an interesting take.
This is cool. Fascinating how inessential so many are. It's nice but a cool keyboard, some good earphones, a new browser. Stuff I've used for 30 years. Be interesting if we'll get much of a paradigm shift in tech any time soon.
I would argue the keyboard is necessary because of it ability to give you ergonomic buffs or just a typing feel that you’d enjoy using for hours. I’m super bias though because I build customs too
I love that Marques had a Zune in high school. I had the original and the HD and loved them. I wish I still had them. Both of them were way better than any iPods at the time.
I have a split keyboard called zsa voyager. It’s my favourite tech I bought this year. I changed to Colemak and blank keycaps at the same time. Clearly it was a steep learning curve and took me about a month to be fully functional
Totally agreed on the 8 Sleep - it's expensive but totally worth it. My sleep has improved tremendously because of it. And every time I travel, I miss my bed at home because of it.
The 8 Sleep is the best thing ever. I set mine at minus 9 cold level while my wife is at plus 4 heat level. Game changer for temperature management in a shared bed.
20:53 also you can get most of the features in a active heated blanket and a passive cooled blanket, a Smart watch/band for less then $300... Though for a first gen device it sounds pretty solid and a good value.
My fav new piece of tech from 2023: Meta Quest 3 without question. Absolute banger of a device, use it every day now and can't game on anything else :D
I always hear people talking about how the Pixel fold is great closed. I almost never use it closed. I only use it that way in a pinch for specific reasons. Otherwise I always use my fold in the open position. It is just so easy to open and it's kind of the whole reason I bought the thing. the bezels don't bother me in any way shape or form. And I really like having the camera outside the screen. I love my fold. I have zero issues with it and I really prefer pixel software to any other version of Android.
What’s even the point of a folding phone… think the novelty has worn off at this point and I just feel bad for people like you lol *“Hey look at me I can put a fat square in my pocket”*
this is so unnecessary and rude lmao. some ppl prefer larger screens, and folding phones provide a pocketable experience without compromising on screen size. as an added side benefit, the form factor allows for the main camera to also be the selfie camera 🤷
when it come to iems, iems shoot up in price with minimal increase in quality. 2600$ isn't that unusual. I think the sweet spot in price are the mooondrop blessing 2 at around 300usd.
I remember I bought 64audios U8 bass iems for about $800 many years ago, I returned it wasn't worth the asking price at all. Then they charged me a restocking fee of about $200. Never went back to that company.
Personally i love how keyboards have advanced. Getting people away from the scratchy feel and poor quality on the stabs is great. Keybs are a slippery slope when finding prefrence tho... i spent 2k making 2 custom designed boards. They got their mistakes (i was new to fusion and design in general.) But i still roatate one of them in the most out of my collection...
New tech-wise, my iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard. I was a bit leery of going with the 12.9, but it’s been great. Speaking of keyboards, what I want is one like the 1990s IBM Thinkpad 700-series keyboards, the metal ones (I think that stopped with the 755). Best small keyboard ever.
When searching it shows laptops, do you mod a laptop (remove screen and give the keyboard) or is this product line name and the SEO is bad so we don't find the right photos? I think I misunderstood entirely and you're just wishing for a standalone keyboard that mimicks the thinkpads layout/ build?
Do you know high rising terminal or uptalk? It's a habit ending declarative statements with a rising intonation, making them sound like questions? And it's a bit annoying when you catch it everywhere? And you can't concentrate in anything the person says because sounds like this?
You know what would be cool is if they made a keyboard that had a cpu built in it (maybe like a i3) and had usb c to charge and to also connect to a monitor. Also somewhere on it having a physical switch to allow you to switch between using it as a regular keyboard and booting windows.
Arc is for sure the best browser for every use case I have come up with. I use Brave on Windows right now, but the second that Arc releases I don't think I'll be using any other browser. The UI is unrivaled, no browser I've ever used feels so smooth and intuitive to use. I really hope they focus on a Windows and Linux release because I want to shill this browser to my friends, but I'm the only Mac user.
looking back this and the other "ads" for 8sleep. it's kinda sad it isnt mentioned how almost every unit eventually springs a leak, sometimes within the first year. also "you dont need a subscription" well true but they force you to get one year of it and the bed is nearly useless without it. also their support is often unresponsive. the product is crazy expensive too. $2400 + expensive subscription. fine, push a product you like, but i think more of these downsides should be shared because a lot of people ended up getting screwed
Also Goprod pros used to be the gold standard and their are POV car channels out there... But yeah for $300 the rayban camera glasses are hard to beat not to mention the fact no one will notice you using them in public.
The lady behind the scene with occasional comments was EXCELLENT! (Apologies I didn’t get her name.) Sharp, funny, to the point!!! And a much needed estrogen boost to the testosterone box 😊
Andrew *correction* The Bauer Lite is injection-molded ABS plastic *not* polycarbonate. Polycarbonate is a much more premium, non-cost-effective material.
Nice keyboards are bizarre to me. They seem like the packaging that so many people have made a living removing here on TH-cam. Like a really nice accessory, like jewelry I'd love to try one out. But nothing I've ever heard about them can overcome the cost difference and the fact that I can get better hardware instead. A lot of keyboards cost a big chunk of what I have ever had to spend on a whole computer. So, without trying to be whiny about it, I kind of bristle at talk about keyboards and their intricacies. When people talk about them, it sounds like people talking about wine. There's terminology I don't understand. And like wine people, everyone acts like I'm just supposed to know the terms. It makes me never want to use a nice keyboard. I'm sorry. I've been pretty sour recently.
