LizzieSnowBrite these were so much fun to make. The rocket was my pride and joy. I tried to make it messy to look like he had made it & I just couldn’t do it 😂😂. Thank goodness it was a parent/child project!
Oh I have one of those treasured reindeer cards, I love it! Your candy cosy’s are just adorable, I think the unicorn is my fav and I love the eyes. Isn’t that eyelash yarn fun. Such a crafty Mommy with the rocket. Big hugs as we approach Christmas my friend.
nwlady1949 the eyelash trim was a life saver otherwise it would have been two dots for eyes. You have one of my limited edition cards. I really need to try a different design for next year but I love that reindeer die! Merry Christmas to you my dear friend
Love them. If I did it, they'd be all different sizes 😳. I've some of that eyelash trim from the unicorn hair! I'd start knitting but everything takes me an age. Wish I could blame that on precision working, but it's continual interruptions to blame! Even your rocket is fab. You know someone will have a rocket in a journal as a charm! 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 Xxxx
Moira McDonald I’ve ate lots of chocolate oranges when I was making these. It was the ultimate sacrifice but someone had to do it 😂😂😂. Just noticed I’ve shown off my trademark Christmas card on two videos. That’s what happens when you shoot videos weeks apart lol 😂. Oliver doesn’t share my love of crafting. He quickly flung some red paint on the rocket and the rest was left to me. I wasn’t too happy that it didn’t win the prize at school though 🤣🤣🤣 someone else made a satellite! 😂 xx

You have been super busy and have made some gorgeous Christmas gifts, I love your chocolate orange cosys 😍 My lovely neighbour gifted me one the other day and it was a Santa hat❣️I love it! You’re cards gorgeous, I love the deer 🦌 theme too and you’re wee deer pencil topper 😂 Now that is what I call a rocket 🚀 we’ve certainly come a long way from our blue peter days😆 Thank you for your lovely seasonal update, nice wee break from the chaos in my house☺️ P.S Niav and I made the lemongrass and lavender soaps last night and we’re both very pleased with the results and hopefully the teachers will like them too, many thanks for that idea😘 xxx

I’ve been flat out on these wee cosies. I do the same card every year because I just love the reindeer die! I’m so glad you tried out the soap. I tried to get Oliver to make some with me but he got fed up after 2 minutes! My son’s girlfriend is going to have a bash too and I’ve bought her some supplies for Christmas. I’m sure I’ll speak to you before the big day but if not, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.
Oh Lisa being mentioned on You tube puts the fear o god right through me, last time my name was mentioned, it was Moira making death threats😂😂😂 I’m frantically trying to wrap all these wee soaps in greaseproof baking paper, who’d have thought that NOTHING adheres to baking paper😂😭😂😭😂 I stupidly thought that it was just cakes n cookies that wouldn’t stick🤔I’m pretty close to bouncing each bar off the wall in frustration and temper🤬 What a lovely gift that will be for Christmas, soap making supplies 🥰 I always get jammies, I’d definitely prefer craft supplies😆 I imagine the wee cosies are very time consuming but as someone who was given one, I’ve got to say they’re well worth the effort, I’m delighted with mine❣️ I really love the deer theme, we bought a reindeer plush wall hanging for Christmas this year and put baubles on his antlers to make him more Christmassy because we’ve decided to keep him up all year😆 xxx
Caroline Mckeeman cut up scraps of fabric and wrap them in that. Or tracing paper. That’s what I use - tracing paper with fabric on top then I wrap some string around them and stick them in a cellophane bag. Baking paper is not so good lol 😂. I revamped my tree decorations this year and for the first time ever, I don’t want to take it down! Usually I’m dragging it down before Hogmanay! I just mentioned your first name in my video incase you are shy ☺️ ☺️ ☺️
Tracing paper not baking paper🤦♀️ wondering why it was going so horribly wrong, I’ve been doing Christmas fabric and twine, so I was partly doing it right😂😂😂 Our daft dogs pull the tree down regularly so I get really fed up really quickly but I’m a stickler for tradition, 12 days before till 12 days after so I persevere and get through it, the dogs hate it when the decorations come down 😆 I literally live in my own little asylum 😂 xxx
