What a gorgeous spoon.. I genuinely hope it finds a hand to live on wondering if, in future, you could copy and cast the spoon before bending and keep the original as a master?
I just can't ignore the loss of the piece of history when you can do this and have it be in so many places. I get the rarity of it, bit also the loss end sucks too. I'd say this method seems like a way to continue your art, make a minimal amount of numbered pieces or mass produce if you so wish, and still have the original be intact, unharmed. It's a win-win no matter hoe you view it. Could even do a series of pieces you make 1 or 2 casts of and have them be specialty items.
It was a beautiful spoon as you could see it in all its glory. Now it's just curved and cannot see it fully. One piece I've seen you make which doesn't do it justice.
that's fabulous! can u do this w things that are plated? Been looking for solid Sterling but haven't found any. have lots of plated pieces and have that same machine. and I'm just learning jewelry making! thanks for any info
Dude buys 9 to 15 dollar spoons, spends 17 seconds bending them and sells them for 35 to 120 bucks. Lol. Sure good for him but shit just seems like a rip off to me

Did u make the actual spoon or did u just bend it into a ring after polishing it? N by expensive how are we gauging this price? Kuz if all u did was bend the spoon n polish it i wouldnt expect a serious markup on top of the price of the silver and i would also concider the "art" was the beautifully crafted spoon that u changed from a decor peice to a wearable peice of jewlery which woild decrease the value of the original peice n the art world I mean its kool n all but if some one wanted to do this itd be cheaper to buy the machine n the long run
This piece that sold, sold for £60 after selling it a guy wanted to offer £85 because he is very heavily cultured. So I’m guessing the piece I made really depends on how much someone is willing to put down for it.
That “uhg fuck” hit every emotion 😂

There awesome silver is beautiful and so is your craft.
I liked the original art
Okay softy. In reality nothing change except the shape of the spoon. Same art. You done crying yet?

is it not hard to charge a lot of money or do things take longer to sell when you show how cheap and easy it is to make them, or are sales unaffected?

You need to make casts of these more sculpted pieces before bending them.
