Can a YZ 250 MX Bike do Enduro?

Sort of.
After extensive modding, the YZ ALMOST feels as capable as a Euro bike on the hard tracks.
I have installed:
Apex Racing Cylinder Head, YZ 250x Pipe with shorty silencer, P3 Pipe guard, Hinson Clutch Setup, SPAL Radiator fan, WR450 Headlight, Lithium battery in airbox, 18 inch rear wheel with Tubliss, Mako 360 Bar Mount and a softer power valve spring.
Admittedly, not all of this is required. You could put a real hard enduro hero on any MX bike and they will smoke any expensive hard enduro setup.
Short answer: Yes you can ride enduro on a YZ250, but you will definitely feel at a disadvantage.

Yz is king... Ive got a 21' yz250x, only mod id recommend is put a 13oz stealthy flywheel weight on it. Makes it so much more of a usable bike

I currently have the GYTR Weight, I wonder if it would be a huge difference between the two.
Ideally I will install a WR 426 Gearbox soon.

@@hardlyenduro GYTR weight is about 9oz i think. so it'd be close but the 13oz adds so much bottom end torque it feels like a 300 hah. either way the extra spinning mass helps them so much in the slower stuff
