- When I'm walking dogs I take a few things with me to make sure that the experience is smooth and joyful for everyone. Over the years I've adjusted the things that I bring with me, from the pack itself to the objects inside, and I think that I've finally got the right combination.

great point about the extra leash - i never even thought about that!
Carry a picture of the dog, vet contact numbers just in case the canine goes missing or is injured. Also a notepad and pen to note insurance details etc.

I am a pet sitter and dog walker in Scottsdale, Arizona. We have lots of wildlife all around our area! In addition to what you have in your bag, I also carry a flashlight, a mini air can, and some pepper spray. Several months ago we had many coyote attacks in our area.
I walk dogs in the Netherlands, so not by car. I use a fanny pack too, but it's a bit heavier, because I need keys (I always carry them all with me - never know when a client will have last minute booking!), purse, spare collar, and a water bottle (also in case of fight, runny poop near doorway etc). 😊 I love having the fanny pack instead of a backpack, because during the day I don't need to take it off/set it down (when I'd probably lose/forget it at some point - disaster!!).

Thank you so much for making this video! Wolfie and I really need to add the collapsible bowl and muzzle. We also recently added human bug spray wipes for me since I always forget to pre-spray before adventuring lol
Bug spray is such a good idea! For some reason bugs are always drawn to me haha I'll definitely add that to the pack. When I do use it I find that my dog hates the spray, so I'll put it on my hands and try to rub it on him (again, he doesn't love it but I know it helps). Also, I just realized that I spelled your name wrong. So sorry about that!
I'll have to try your trick for getting the spray on my dog. He is such a stinker about any type of spray. Also, I'm just really impressed you pronounced my last name right!
if the park has no water, do you carry also water in back pack? It probably would be heavy

Quick add-on to the leash advice, which is excellent: make sure one of your spare leashes has a padded handle for strong pullers. That will save your hands!

Since you’re in the younger ranges I recommend having a friend come with you! It would plus be safer and help you out , I started doing this and it took a load off, I’m 12

Good question! I just carry them in my hand and head for the nearest garbage bin. I definitely don't suggest putting it in the bag because I know someone who did that and they exploded everywhere!

Absolutely! In my area dog walks go for $15-$20 for 30 minutes! Or $10-$15 for 15-20 minutes. Good luck! :)

Hmm.. my carry bag is a bit different. At my ready I have bear spray, a tactical whip and 38 revolver with shotshells.
What treats do you use?
Saria Khalilallah my favourite treats are beef liver from the company Benny Bullies. They are like crack for dogs! I’ve never met a dog who does like them. It doesn’t ship everywhere, unfortunately 🙁

Could you ahow how to organize keys or codes to clients house
Good question! Maybe I'll make a video on that...on each of the dogs profiles (which I keep in a file), I write down if they have a key or a code. If it's a key I colour coordinate each key based on area of the city, and then on the key I write the dogs name (not the address, because if it gets lost than a stranger would know which house it belongs to). I keep the files and keys with me as I'm driving so that I can reference it as I go. Many of my dogs are regulars, so I quickly learn the codes without having to reference, but in the beginning I definitely check constantly

@@Straight7546 depends on if the dog is trained or not to go alongside the walk. If the dog isn't trained, it can be *very* dangerous for the person on the bike *and* the dog.
