Harmonium Lesson 1 for Beginners in Full

This is lesson 1 of Harmonium : A Beginners Course which is a set of downloadable HD video lessons made by Sulekh Ruparell and available for download at www.tabla.co.uk
Each lesson has been planned carefully to take the student through the basics step-by-step making the leatning both simple and easy-to-follow.

Liked this lesson. Got my Harmonium today. When I pull the bellow in I get a sound when it goes back out it does not have a sustained sound. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure if this is helpful anymore. But definitely sounds like you have an air leak of the sound is not sustaining. Try giving a full pump of the bellows 3 times and hold any key and if the sound does not sustain between 6 - 10 seconds it's likely you have an air leak. A good harmonium should sustain at least 10 seconds on a couple full pumps.
