Ive recieved first payment for apple, spotify and the other standard platforms, when should i recieve the first payment for the other select platforms? Like deezer, tidal etc?
I'm not so sure but I do know that Tidal pays out several months later than most other stores. Different Distributors may vary due to their agreements with different DSP's like Tidal. For me It never paid every month like Spotify's does!
When you upload does it upload to your personal Spotify acc? Or how do you find your music?
No, it will not upload to your personal listening account as if you have a subscription you pay per month, instead, your music will be placed on your artist profile. You can find your music in the master link and social section of united masters, there should be links to your music. or just search your artist's name in the search bar in your streaming platform

Is this something that could be good for producer besides beat stars etc?
Yes, actually this platform is perfect for that. Once you release your instrumentals you will have the ability to submit your instrumentals to sync licensing opportunities. But for selling I would recommend still having a backend store like beatstars or your own website where you can sell your work if thats also what your intent is. You would use streaming platforms for clients listening while earning royalties and remove track from streaming platforms once the beat is sold 👌. Unless you and client intend to keep instrumental on streaming platforms even if sold 💯 😎

I paid the annual fee and they made me click on the 14 day trial as soon as I paid and they took my money and after the 14 days ways up they sent me a email saying that my payment on my card was unsuccessful?? I'm disappointed and confused because I heard such good things about them I'm confused??
I believe this same thing happened to me but I finally made sure it was purchased properly and no extra money was charged. Dont be disencouraged, still a great company and they'll have you looking proper

Depending on the way your track was streamed can determine the percentage cut from the pool you'll receive.. Like Free Spotify account streams will pay less than from accounts that are premium users. family accounts also will payout differently.

@@kentpaulines143 yeah can be easy to mix up your streaming period and pay out dates, I always add and extra month if I'm calculating earnings. Sounds like your streams were withing 2 different streaming periods for payouts

I need help how do I change my artist name if I already upload my music through on my old artist name?
Its Basically like starting from scratch, a new artist name is a new product, make a new artist but use your same "songwriter" name (Which should be your real name or publishing company), if you want to try to keep the same songs you released before under new name, your best bet is to transfer the meta data (ISRC Code , not UPC code!) to the new artist while uploading these songs. This is not suppose to work, but this is the way it would work. This definitely works when your just transferring distributors however.

They Do Content ID If You Check The Box During Distribution, For That And SoundCloud, SEO was looking proper soon as i got with em , but i use TuneCore now

It's Automatic, you must have a payout option in place in order to receive a payout , otherwise the money stays inside your profile wallet. You can link PayPal or a bank account

Is all your money from streaming alone or actual music purchases like from itunes?
Most of my music's profit does come from streaming, I do not promote for sells as much as I do promote my Spotify profile. This is just what I've become accustomed to. And since I'm independent, I keep every dollar that belongs to me.
What features are they taking away
If you do not pay for the subscription they will take a cut of ten percent, revoke your chance to submit to brand partnership deals, and they wont prioritize your release date.
How can we post it on Instagram stories??
once your music is released you can use the Instagram story features to "add music", and behold your music shall be available just a week or so after once official live from the release date. It takes time to get into all stores and apps, usually Spotify and Apple music are the first to go live. You can also share the song to your story directly from the Spotify app while listening

With UnitedMasters Select, will you be able to select stores when releasing your music? I know they deliver over 25+ stores but what if i just want to release my music on main streaming platforms only.
And another question, will you be able to choose if your song wants to get registered for content id or not when releasing it? I purchase lease beat for my song so i'm not allowed to youtube content id my music.
You Do not get to chose stores directly from the site, but I wouldn't put it past the opportunity to email them and request the things that you ask of prior to release or submission from your end, send all your information about the upcoming release that you would "like" to submit through united masters and request particular stores that you are interested in. However, I believe their model is to make sure that you are on every platform to maximize your reach and availability. Also, Ask to "White-list" Your TH-cam Channel if you upload directly and to white list the youtube channel that they make for you. If they do not Whitelist, the producer will be given the chance to claim the royalties through their youtube once the ID Content is copyright "Striked".

The beat producer also hasn't registered their beat for content id, it's just they don't want anyone who raps on their beat to register the song on content id. But the main thing I wanted to know was whether i would be able to choose if my song wants to be registered for content id or not? Like there's an option or tick mark to check off or not when submitting the music like there's on Routenote?
Also, i think many other people like me could be wondering these type of questions so it would be helpful if you were to make a video showing the process of submitting music through UnitedMasters SELECT. I don't think there is any video about releasing music through Select version in the TH-cam. Just a suggestion.

If you are new to streaming revenue it takes 45 days for each payment to process, So Streaming from January would pay in march

Can you split the money with other creators?
They do have a feature where you can add a featured artist but no so with where you can do splits. I Would Suggest Emailing their support to see if there is anyway they can divide splits, i would assume they will so long as the other artist is also signed up with United Masters

I just have an implied marketing strategy that works! I've been an indie artist for over 12 years, I've made many relationships and have been through many trials and tribulations with the music industry. Plus I recently graduated an audio engineering & music production program with the "recording connection" and have made even "more" connections through that. Making a connection with playlist curators and triggering the Algorithmic playlists can play a huge part in your growth and success. The same goes for making relationships with A&R's, Publicists, music experts/gurus, labels, artists, and more. You guys may see me publish stuff now but I've been a powerhouse workaholic for many years. I got obsessed with learning and progression and I still am. It is an automatic deposit from United Masters to Paypal, you shouldn't have to do anything, payout is the 15th if I remember correctly, so on that day your money shall be within PayPal with no delay

@@RxsuIsTerrible Then honestly my experience from this would be that you may have not gotten paid yet. You should have received a statement in your email showing your earnings, that should conclude that you have in fact been paid, but if you haven't received that email then that would mean you have not been paid for that streaming period and will be paid on the next payput date. How long have you been with UM?

Yes you can! But the same work cannot be released on both platforms. Only if you are transferring your work from one distributor to another is where you'll see the same work uploaded until the other one is taken down
