I appreciate this video, I am a high plat player and I can consistently win the early game but I struggle a lot during the mid game, specifically 5v5 team fights
Majority of Low elo ADCs don't even know what kiting is. Like sometimes it just feels like people right click once in a fight and then go for grabbing a coffe or something. There is no turn rate in this game, it takes you 0 frames to move backwards after executing an attack. In low elo if you are kiting well enough you can even get away with bad positioning in most situations.
When you win lane 5/0 but the 16/2 shaco decides to pop your cherry like an altar boy every time you make the horrible decision of leaving your fountain
You and your team need to position in a way if Shaco try or succed at killing you, you get something back (like oneshotting him just after you got killed). Or even put yourself in a situation where that can't happen if possible.
For the ruler gameplay...it really seems like Jayce isn't doing literally anything the entire time either. Just watches dragons Health and does two abilities to secure the kill on pyke at the end.
The number 1 rule of low elo teamfights as ADC: don't be behind on gold. That also means: don't be even on gold (because even as adc is the same as behind). So you need to be ahead on gold. If you are - use hints from this video. If you are not - don't teamfight, fizz will come and destroy you.
Thank you so much. Like, they're not wrong or anything, and the guides are super helpful, but distorting reality by making fun of "adc in 2022" is honestly not helping things. even in platinum, when you leave lane 5-0 but the enemy team has a 5-0 assassin or bruiser, there's a high chance they will just completely overcommit 1v3, pop you in 0.2s and then get away with it because your team is standing right next to you wanking themselves. This will lose you 40% of your games, and it's honestly really tiring. Gotta make sure to win the rest so you can actually climb
About the statement at the beginning: In low elo, everyone does everything disastrously wrong. The matter of the fact is, about the mistakes everyone is doing all the time, the role ADC is the least forgiving of it all, because, unlike every other role, traditional ADC can't survive themselves. That's why "ADC in 2022 LUL" meme is actually viable.
On the bright side, "yay free pass".I dont know what hurts more to watch. The kai'sa playing aram and still finding so much success or seeing the team around Cait clown around and him having to go with their bad choices making up for it.
I disagree with the last one... If he had run to find safety behind his friends, he wouldn't have been caught in that fight and the dude over Dragon wouldn't have died by Talon's hand. You say "He forced Talon to ult." No, he didn't. Talon ulted because he saw that everyone and their mother left Ekko trapped behind the dragon, it was a really easy kill. Sure, the adc was thinking to block every exit, but just look how Jhin had plenty of time to walk all around the jungle and enter from Blue team's jungle, just like Pyke did, who actually did great to start panic inside blue team and even taking out LeBlanc in the process. Sure, LeBlanc positioning didn't help, but again, that Dragon was severely rushed. Blue had vision, but they didn't have positioning, they were literally trapped like the guys of 300, and died exactly like the guys of 300, surrounded. LeBlanc had no way to enter that fight because for it she should have taken the risk to go into smoke and pray to god that no one is seeing her. That's another mistake. Blue team put lamps only where they wanted to fight, forgetting that they're not putting the rules of the duel. They should've had wards in bottom jungle, but all the wards were on the top jungle. If LeBlanc could've had run behind the jungle from the bottom, she could've killed Pyke and even Jhin. Only then you do Dragon. But to do Dragon with all Red team alive, and right there, was dumb as hell. That was a terrible ADC/Ekko move for me, right there.
we need context for some of these did the jinx end the game? because they got 2 kills and they pushed the mid wave which you said was a bad thing kai'sa did in the first clip. However with kai'sa yummi bascially 2v4ing everyone how is the right play not to end there?
So funny that the first clip you show of kaisa doesnt look any different from d2 on EUW. I guess since master got devalued so much, diamond is worth pisslow.
0:47 I’m gonna be honest I thought that this meant that you were gonna give away a membership if we got the scenarios right so I was deadass taking notes and writing all that down the entire video but I realized what you actually meant :(
...first four minutes isn't even a team fight, she kills all five people on their team. Where's the help when it comes to actually playing with a team?
The guessing game in htis vid is sorta ruined since we can just look where the teams are, first example was easily gold or lower based on how split the team was and similarly with the second one being all grouped with unlimited pings
outta curiosity if Kaisa was fed really hard and she just killed kayn knew exactly where everyone was with a yummi attached to her why wouldn't they just end the game instead of waste time going to baron? Kai killed everyone by herself if her team was there to help they woulda ended.
I'm not a coach or a high elo player but I suspect that it has to do with how it's much easier to lose a fight in someone else's territory, particularly the enemy base, combined with the safety that comes from Baron buff's extra siege power. The other team has more vision, towers they can use to defend, potential minion waves spawning, etc. Kai'Sa and her team probably could have ended the game there, but there was a decent possibility of them messing up and losing the fight in base, while it would be almost impossible for them to lose a Baron fight, which means that their subsequent siege & teamfighting power in the enemy base is much higher. In that example, Red Team doesn't even manage to crash a wave into the Nexus Towers despite getting 4 kills, whereas a Baron buffed super minion wave would be practically guaranteed to do so.
Like said, the game is never won before it is won. "Let's take risk to lose the game, just so we win the game 1/2 minutes earlier IF WE DON'T FUCK UP". Not worth it at all. Typical cocky and no brain attitude. People can always mess up, even more when thinking "let's have fun, we can't lose anyway" and then troll. Outside of the yumi or anything giving access to healing, just think about Baron : Base advantage mean ennemy team can stall, and if you don't kill lot of peoples and get chuncked, nothing is accomplished, you go back to base and reset, while the ennemy losing team get tempo advantage back. But if you take Nashor, then you put ennemy team in the situation of "We don't even need to kill you to win the game, the minions will do if for us. You need to something right now, or you lose". Without Nashor, ennemy team can just clear stuffs and stay safely arround tower, and heal back quickly if chuncked. With Nashor, ennemy team need to run you down in a few seconds before minions win the game for you, they cant wait a good set up for engaging, or stall. They can just rush at you in tears or lose the game without anyone fighting.

Not saying you dont but if you dont fully understand then you will always think its your fault. Once you fully understand then you will know 100% if its your fault or not and you will be surprised on what mistakes you are really making.
I will also attest to this. I believe teamfighting is my worst skill. I have worked on vision skills, tempo advantage turns, builds, mechanics and more just to try to compensate for the one skill that I can clearly see is bad through random stats online. You should check out mobalytics analytics and see what it says about you. I played tristana due to my poor skills of kiting (but im a hell of a baiter) and saw that I had like challenger level picking skills with trist (which is the only thing she's good at through all of mid game, so as an overall adc role im probably diamond at best truthfully in it), but my teamfight skills and a few other things were just utter garbage silver or something while I was still sitting in platinum. The only thing that gets me plat each season is the fact I know how to manage waves, punish bad players, and get other members of my team ahead. However, my stats show that I die a lot, I fight poorly, I skirmish badly and lose trades, and my farm suffers for this as well. Patience and clear thoughts is the hardest thing in stressful moments of this game, and losing our minds when every step counts is what adcs do best. Sometimes I wish I could just have rock for brains and press R like malphite and walk straight at people and call it a day, lol.

you know jinx is high elo when you see that lee sin glide like that
And when you see 10cs/min at 34 mins
1st game the correct play was to go mid and end, kaisa's team had a big enough lead to end with tahm. Tahm trolled it by going nash, kaisa probably shoulda gone nash aswell since tahm trolled the play in the first place
these ding noises were way louder than the rest of the video, and so abrupt and aggressive that they practically turned my brain off
"So is Fcuk Me Pls Kai'sa a high elo or low elo ADC?" 🤔🤔
Low elo adc
Used to get asked if I played lol a lot and always wondered why, welp now I know
I appreciate this video, I am a high plat player and I can consistently win the early game but I struggle a lot during the mid game, specifically 5v5 team fights
This isnt fair, clearly the bronze in my match are 5d timetravel chess mind gaming me at every single frame with genius level tactics.
Good vid. Not sure what the dings were, but they were very loud during the Caitlin analysis
It was letting you know when you were supposed to recognize a good play he did
Majority of Low elo ADCs don't even know what kiting is.
Don’t know what planet ur living on lmao
@@notsoslick earth, it‘s quite nice
4:23 I DIDNT EXPECT THAT ENDING
Watching that kaisa pushing mid solo(yuumi as buff) made me screaming at the screen
"Back up! Back up! Back up! BACK UP YOU IDIOT!!"
i learned as adc that you should never start plays just wait for your team to make plays and get untouchable
On the bright side, "yay free pass".I dont know what hurts more to watch. The kai'sa playing aram and still finding so much success or seeing the team around Cait clown around and him having to go with their bad choices making up for it.
That ruler trap play was 500 iq WTF
ppl on my server and elo dont believe u can solo baron, they will never do baron
i spit my drink out when you said twitch thinks he is a melee champion
3:44 you are wrong senna's max rang is
I disagree with the last one...
Problem sometimes is: I am 5-3 and have to fight a teamfight against 16-2 Zed.
we need context for some of these did the jinx end the game? because they got 2 kills and they pushed the mid wave which you said was a bad thing kai'sa did in the first clip. However with kai'sa yummi bascially 2v4ing everyone how is the right play not to end there?
Lulled at "Gold elo Sion is 4D chess mind gaming you"
So funny that the first clip you show of kaisa doesnt look any different from d2 on EUW. I guess since master got devalued so much, diamond is worth pisslow.
0:47 I’m gonna be honest I thought that this meant that you were gonna give away a membership if we got the scenarios right so I was deadass taking notes and writing all that down the entire video but I realized what you actually meant :(
yeah. im shit.
...first four minutes isn't even a team fight, she kills all five people on their team. Where's the help when it comes to actually playing with a team?
The guessing game in htis vid is sorta ruined since we can just look where the teams are, first example was easily gold or lower based on how split the team was and similarly with the second one being all grouped with unlimited pings
Adcs are quite powerful, but sometimes, they got it hard. How are you supposed to peel for the adc vs kassa who got ahead? :D
Bro what is up with those super high pitched pings during the Caitlyn clip, it's insufferable.
Do you guys have a coach that can take me from Diamond to Challenger?
When should we use predator on Jhin?
That ding was WAY TOO LOUD. Can't watch past that now.
Pings were really loud
The bell sound effect was so loud....
I can't watch it fully. Narrator sounds like a robot.
outta curiosity if Kaisa was fed really hard and she just killed kayn knew exactly where everyone was with a yummi attached to her why wouldn't they just end the game instead of waste time going to baron?
@@pecoguy sounds like the dame attitude that always makes NA lose at worlds.

In low elo you dont tema fight everyone throws the game xD
Damn this was a goodd video, I didn't know how muhc I was missing and I dont even play ADC
You think this is a good video cause you don't fully understand the game but the person curved the narrative in their favor so they seem right and know what they are talking about. There is a lot of misinformation given in this video.
@@twistedfireking1845 could you give some examples that actually illustrate that
@@TSSPDarkStar Within the first 40 seconds about the adc positioning. An adc can be positioned perfectly and attacking the right target(s) but if someone on your team makes a mistake or lets someone in the back line then there is nothing you can do about it which this person does not explain in the video.
@@twistedfireking1845 Pretty sure they DO say I think repeatedly in the video that there times where if your team misplays hard enough you literally can't win a fight, they even go into depth at how that can happen at that dragon fight. They specifically say the ADC played it as basically as well as they could have but their team made it lost.
I don't think that's a good example so is there any other that you think is misinformation?
@@TSSPDarkStar They actually rarely say it at all. Plus every example was in hindsight with mistakes/misinformation. At the start of the video they literally said and I quote "If you are not succeeding in low elo teamfights then YOU are obviously doing something wrong", which I explained already and was never touched up in the video. Nice try tho (:

Next time can you please use a less-sharp sounding bell and at a lower volume? Startled me every time lol. Great video besides that! I always love learning what good AND bad play looks like - it's much easier to identify bad habits in my own gameplay that way.

i'm an ADC main and I know for a fact my team fighting sucks, I even think i'ts the thing I'm the worst at x).
Quick edit: Gen G Ruler is amazing, just by watching I learned a lot already, which is a path to being better with team fights! Thanks SkillCapped!
@@garrettbillington7230 I also play Tristana haha. My trading is also lackluster but I always manage to stay relevant. Thoughts wise, when I'm behind I do what Hector says, I detach myself from the game, it works really well! Sadly since Kai'sa got obliterated lately with nerfs on her Q and one on R I changed her for Ashe
@@Siinory I wish I could Ashe but there's no way for me. She's just not my taste I guess, although she's so good for playing ahead or behind both and highly worth the time spent on her. I'm fixing to revert back to the Jinx train I had seasons ago while she's completely broken right now and see where it gets me. If I'm not breaking the rules of ADC with tristana and sivir all the time, then maybe I'll be forced to get better. Who knows. At least I can still break the rules just maybe a little with jinx during her passive timer lol. Cheers and hopes that we both get better. 👍
@@garrettbillington7230 I was an Ashe main before I discovered the joy of Tristana on Wild Rift hahaha. I may try Caitlyn very soon too

40 seconds in and you are already giving out misinformation. An adc can be positioned perfectly and attacking the right target(s) but if someone on your team makes a mistake or lets someone in the back line then there is nothing you can do about it, has nothing to do with positioning or who you are targeting. Is this really a 'Challenger Guide'???
sure, situations like that happen often enough. but improving as a player requires you to focus on your own gameplay. the point where you think that what you do ingame doesnt matter is the point where youve given up on improving.
