Nice to see this. I've been a striker main since launch and continue to enjoy the class regardless of changes. With male scrapper just around the corner, I'm looking forward to adding another male fighter to my roster though my destroyer might be the one in line for retirement in that case. xD

Striker main here since launch. Played eso flurry swift build, deathblow build & now eso flurry spec crit build. I had the most fun playing eso flurry swift but he's very weak(never mvp). Deathblow build was very fun big numbers but slow, if you missed your lts or dont crit it sucks. So far eso flurry spec crit build feels most consistent too me but just very slow.

What are your thoughts about it? Does it make sense, and if yes, why? Is that to fit BF+LTS into the main window of atk speed of the new LW tripod? Thanks in advance. I m gonna try today!
I main DB since release and for me the class still has 2 problems: he relies too much on yearning and most of the stagger and destruction are on his Esoteric skills. The devs may never do it, but I hoped they would change WD and Striker Identity and make Esoteric Skills without bubbles like Soul Eater and Destroyer.
great Video, i main striker currently 1595 EU FTP, there are a lot of strikers over here, i think i will enjoy playing it no matter what happens to it, but will always appreciate some buffs and better quality.
Swift eso just needs high uptime like control glaiver and it's back attack so that's why it feels like it does Z. Cuz you need to play perfectly to get the same damage as the spec versions
@@mohammedbilaluddin2630 ye i know bro. but i mean compared to like predator slayer or even the new night's edge soul eater (new classes i know, but the difference is huge). And they are easier to back attack too..
He should play as gunlancer and you should keep your blade. But paladin has no restrictions in terms of range of their buffs so maybe a ranged class, or any class really.
I want to get into this game but my friends tell me that the gatekeeping in Western regions and that the sheer progress 99% of the player base has already made in this game will dramatically affect my experience and thus I shouldn't bother. What are your opinions?
Atleast you have friends to play with. That solves much of the gatekeeping problems that people face. Everyone in the game gatekeeps and soon you will too but it depends on the degree. If you make an effort to actually make friends in the game or joining guilds that just runs the weekly raids, you'll have a great time. It's an MMO after all. You'll just have to get into the game and see for yourself.
If you're playing support then you will hardly be gatekept. If you're playing DPS then pick something easy to play and gear up without horizontal content. If you want to start of as a striker, then just dont. Simply put, striker takes a lot of investment than majority of the classes. Like Benji said at the end, the return on investment is rather low.
I recently started playing this game because of my friend. Not bothered much by where most of the players are at now. What matters to me is we play together and he helps me with stuff. I am still overwhelmed by the game but it’s fun after years of not playing any.
Play it fot fun dude, dont rush it. We all get or used to get gatekeeping. Nowadays with all the rewards and powerpasses, its easy ți get to 15xx item level. Enjoy!

I still prefer swiftness classes, so i'm all in for esoteric... i just feel it's way too weak compared to other similar classes.

Yea i agree. And needing to have 3 stats is really annoying. Literally no other build does that.

It's F2P, boot it up and see how you like it. Dont let anybody else, myself and youtubers/streamers included, tell you how to enjoy your free time.
