Still quite surprised that the original name for XCX was just X. Also quite amazed is that it reminded me of Xenogears with a Red X behind Xenogears. Quite surprised that Sony didn't spit out their dummy.
Great video!! Xenoblade X was my entry point for the series so I’m always gonna have nostalgia for it. Part of me doesn’t even really want a ton of connections with the numbered series simply bc the vibes of the two are so different that they can really exist independently on their own. I do love a good crossover though so I wouldn’t be mad if they went that route, but either way I def need more out of X in some capacity, whether it’s a sequel or remake :D

Lol I'm very very glad more people are gonna get to play it! It's kinda random but I made the silhouette by merging a bunch of official art together and then painting it black. It's Ethel's art from XBC3 and Fiora's art from project x zone 2 combined. Thanks for watching!
I'm still planning to play the original once the fanservers are up(The people behind Pretendo are still heroes), but dang. This video really did not miss timing-wise, only 3 weeks before the actual announcement. And only 5 months of a waiting time for XDE, that's pretty lit.
In my understanding the universe of X isn't the same as Klaus's universe, because Earth was destroyed in VERY different ways in each one. The conflict between the two alien factions that destroyed Earth was central to the deeper lore of X, and I feel like if it was that important we'd get some hint of it in Future Redeemed. Future Redeemed implied that the Project Exodus in that world had already been going for several years, but in X it was a classified operation to ensure humanity's survival that was only implemented once the battle started. I do think they're different universes: but that doesn't mean they aren't connected. Klaus near the end of 2 references the fact that there are countless other dimensions, and so even if the main Xenoblade universe and the X universe aren't the same, there's still plenty of space to fit them into some larger overarching narrative. But that's just my understanding. Regardless, I think whatever comes next is going to be awesome, so we're on the same page there!
You make a good point. The more theory videos I watch the more it makes less sense for the two to be directly connect. Maybe we'll see some kind of multiverse??? No clue but you're right I'm sure it'll be awesome! Thanks for watching :)
You have a point. But the people in X arent even sure earth is destroyed. I know that it could be just escapism but the have no proof. Abd im still not sure that the recombined world is earth. Only because it was the planet the two worlds originated from doesnt mean it has to be earth again. But im fine either way (we get x, so im happy). But i also think monolith Soft can think of something if they want it.
X needs to stay in its own universe with its own story if it does come back, connecting it to normal Xeno doesn't make sense, and it would water down what both storylines have going for them

But in that Sense i hope that Xenosaga isnt connected as well. If, for example they bring Kos-Mos back in X4 then it would mean we need to play 3 more games to get the full story (and i think the existence of aliens (is it really denied in xenosaga or just unknown) give them more possibilities)
"Just Run through the Story" yeah no Side Content is where it is in X and not do that well have fun being slaughtered cause this game can be quite hard if you are way to underleveled for what they game wants you to be for moments
