YES, I love the idea of introducing one new house a week. I never heard of J-SCENT before today but I do like the sound of YUZU because you said it was a little amber, like and it sounds like a nice sample. Thanks, Louisiana.
Aww, I lived in Japan for 2 years when I was younger and I absolutely love the smells from the country. Was excited to hear about this house cause of their Japan inspired fragrances but no international shipping and based in USA... unfortunate for me since I really wanted to try them out here in Singapore
I’m intrigued by your description of the Roasted Green Tea because I love the smell of toasted seaweed or bonito flakes you sprinkle atop many Japanese dishes. It makes me wonder if it smells of Hoji cha too, which has that toasty scent. I have been getting into tea fragrances and really enjoy many. They’re comforting and help me adjust to extreme temperatures or humidity somehow. Thanks for the new company reviews, from Kansas. ETA: and, yes, I did sample Yuzu from JScent last summer in a LuckyScent order. It was nice and zesty but extremely fleeting.
Ooooo I think I’ll order a full line of samples from Lucky Scent and J scent. Roasted Green tea seems very interesting, and I also saw Honey and Lemon which seems very yummy as well. Love from Missouri☺️
Right after I watched this I looked the company up and ordered some samples. Black Leather, Ramune, and a third (the name escapes me). Amazing products. Def going back for the full package.
Sumo wrestler sounds right up my alley because of the combo of citrus and Jasmine. But yuzu sounds beautiful too. I love the idea of a new brand introductions. USA
I like the idea of one new brand a week on the channel, I think its fun. Would be great if you could explore Etsy perfumers, there are some great ones out there. I thought the Roasted Green Tea perfume sounded like the one I would like the most as I love green tea scents. I live in the US.
The mint is strong, as is the powdery iris. Somehow this didn't evoke tea at all, just a rather cold, sweet and minty musky perfume. Could be good in summer, otherwise to icy. On me it induces a slight headache. USA
I love J Scents, I have Paper Soap 🧼. Smells like a luxurious bar of French mill soap with epic longevity and projection (considering this composition). I love aldehydes in the summer, I struggle with citruses.
Roasted green tea sounds the most interesting to me because it sounds the most unique. I appreciate the idea of introducing new houses every week. I am in California. Thank you
My pick for the J-Scent Perfumes is the Sumo Wrestler Aromatic because of the patchouli and jasmine notes. It would be really nice to have a new niche brand every week. I appreciate your hard work and we your subs are the beneficiaries .Thank you Sebastian for doing this. Best regards from California
I like the idea of learning a new house/brand every week. I've never heard of J-Scent but am interested to try out their perfumes. The Roasted Green Tea sounds appealing to me and would like to explore more tea scent. California.
I think I would enjoy the Yuzu more than the others. The new house per week sounds like a wonderful idea, I'd be looking forward to it. Thanks for the giveaway. Best regards from Plano, Texas.
IA, USA - The fragrance that intrigues me most is the Roasted Green Tea Aromatic 2015. I love most jasmine and vanilla notes, but I've never experienced peanut in a fragrance before. I've yet to obtain a tea fragrance in my collection, so I'm very curious what this would smell like! I typically love most Japanese inspired aesthetics and values, so this line has definitely caught my interest. I like the idea of introducing more brands that you've never spoken on before for your future content! Thanks for sharing.
I love trying and learning about new fragrances and would love a review on a new house each week! Of the three from J-Scent, Roasted Green Tea sounds most interesting for its refreshing and comforting qualities. Big thank you from Chicago!
I found Roast Green Tea the most interesting sounding of the three. I live in North Carolina and love the idea of your introducing a new brand every week (or even every two weeks or every month). I haven't tried J-Scent but winning this would be a real treat.
I own the Honey & Lemon and Paper Soap. The latter is a bit tough to wear but if one loves soapy scents, it is that! I enjoy it but it definitely has it's soapy sharpness. Nothing I could wear often. Interestingly they use jasmine & musk in many of their scents, which I love together. Interesting House.
Would love to try Yuzu because it is mostly hot year round where I am and that note is one of the first fragrances I bought with Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme. Never heard of J-Scents. Thanks for giveaway samples. From Texas.
Great idea to introduce a new house of fragrances each week. Honestly, most of your reviews introduce me to a new house! That Yuzu citrus sounds very nice. Watching from PA, USA.
Sumo wrestler sounds right up my alley because of the combo of citrus and Jasmine. But yuzu sounds beautiful too. I'm in California and love the idea of a new brand introductions.
Thanks for the J-scent review. Love the new brand per week concept. I like the sumo description. I live in Texas. Thanks for the give away opportunity.
I have tried the Sumo Wrestler sample and have to admit that is a very interesting smell and a worth a try. I would love to have the chance to try the other two fragrances. Thanks! Greetings from VA.
You are one of the absolute best reviewers out there. Thank you for all the work you put into this. I love this idea of 1 new brand per week. I am a fragrance enthusiast who love trying and discovering new fragrances. I do like the sound of YUZU because you said it was a little amber, like and it sounds like a nice sample. USA
I ran across J-Scent in my search for the perfect wood scent. I've only tried a sample of Wood Flake. People who complain about "pencil shavings" smell, etc. may not get into it but it actually has much more to offer if you give it a few hours. I really like Wood Flake and would like to try more of J-Scent. Yuzu sounds the most interesting to me since I also like tea fragrances....Thanks for the review - from TN, USA
I’m not familiar with this house at all, but I love Japanese culture and Japanese food, especially the tea that is served. That’s why I’d have to say Roasted Green Tea peaks my interest the most out of all of these. Thanks for an introduction into a new intriguing house yet again. PA
Great job Sebastian! I think I would enjoy the Sumo Wrestler the most. It fits my preferred note pyramid more than the other two. Not usually a fan of tea notes but the Roasted Green Tea does sound interesting. Chillin out in Ohio!

Don't know the house, but the yuzu sounds good. I like citrus scents and that one sounds intriguing. We get some hot summers out here in Ohio so I think it would wear well here.
I’m most interested in the roasted green tea since I love drinking green tea. Drinking tea for me is about the aroma so smell is most important. This fragrance has many notes that I really like such as iris, jasmine, mint. I love the powdery from the iris and I would sniff on mint whenever something is minty nearby. And to me Jasmine is very oriental so the smell reminds me of some of the Asian countries I’ve visited. That seaweed smell you’ve mention from the laver I might not pick up since I’m so used to eating and smelling seaweeds so very interested to find out. But with certain tea leaves when you burn them you’ll get that slight seaweed, oceany smell too.
Don't know the house, but the yuzu sounds good. I like citrus scents and that one sounds intriguing. We get some hot summers out here in Iowa so I think it would wear well here.
Thanks for sharing this house! Been enjoying Yuzu for the last few months! It's a nice juicy take on Yuzu without being too citrusy sharp or too sweet. This is a slightly different take on the note than L'eau d'Issey and Eau de Yuzu by Nicolai. I don't get much longevity on it, though. USA
Good thoughts, Sebastian. I appreciate that you are going to introduce us to different houses. I don't know anything about J-Scents, and look forward to learning. These fragrances sound interesting. The one that I like is J-Scent Yuzu because of the matured citrus-thyme nature of it. A refreshing fragrance is always a welcome smell. Thanks for the giveaway. I live in Waldorf, MD, USA.
This is an amusing oddity. Don't find many perfumes with a peanut note! Mr. Peanut roars out swinging, but after he settles down, you get the "roasted" and, I think, clover, and then an "almost" tea. Never smelled either minty or floral in the least, to my nose. Weirdly, kind of a "comfort food" (or drink) vibe, although, for ones I never actually had. Very little projection, and low to moderate longevity. Quite an unusual scent though, and enjoyable. Wish it were stronger. USA
The roasted green tea sounds best to me! The fact that it’s sweet and savory is so interesting and I’ve never smelled laver before! Love your reviews! Keep up the new brand every week, love from Boston
I like the idea of the new house intro idea. Very interested in this house. Big fan of Yuzu as well. Would be awesome to win the samples. I live in GEORGIA.
I love trying and learning about new fragrances and would love a review on a new house each week! Of the three from J-Scent, Roasted Green Tea sounds most interesting for its refreshing and comforting qualities. Big thank you from Fort Dodge, Iowa!
I have the roasted green tea scent and it’s so good. It really reminds me of bottled hojicha tea that I drank when I lived in Thailand. Minty and relaxing with nothing off-putting to me. I’d be happy to try Yuzu. Stay safe, from NYC
Great video. I love this idea of 1 new brand per week. I am a fragrance enthusiast who love trying and discovering new fragrances. I am Illinois. Roasted Green Tea just sounds intriguing with the note of peanut in there. And then a Green tea accord as well. Keep up the good work
I enjoy the use of yuzu in fragrances, so I'd probably be most interested in Yuzu. However, I'd love to sample the entire line, since I enjoy Kenzo fragrances as well. I love to hear about new houses, so learning about a new house each week sounds like a nice idea. Also, the bottles are simplistic looking, but just fine. I live in Maryland.
I have heard of sumo wrestler and yuzu .. I cant remember wher i heard of them at but yeah glad to hear your take on these .. Sumo sounds more my direction like california vibes
Have heard of this house before, but I cannot remember from who? I have been intending to test out a yuzu fragrance, so that one is of interest to me. However, sumo wrestler! The "concoction" as you put it sounds very intriguing and is now on my radar! State: New Jersey
So good, no one has reviewed their scents yet! I love this brand. I have Yawahada (Soft Skin) and it really is a beautiful skin scent. It's like fresh pear mixed with sniffing a baby's head haha.
Yuzu sounds amazing!!!! Especially in this humid summer weather in Houston, TX. I’ve never heard of J-Scent and would love to discover their scents. ❤️
Interesting review! I’m most interested in the roasted green tea since I love drinking green tea. Drinking tea for me is about the aroma so smell is most important. Yuzu and sumo are right up my alley. If you think they’re good quality I would almost blind buy based off notes and them being and Indy house. With that being said I’m most interested in roasted green tea. I just want to sample it really bad
They all sound unique, but I think Roasted Green Tea sounds the best because I drink a lot of tea, green included, and I love the smell. I agree that it has a calming effect like you said. I also like your idea about showcasing new houses frequently because at this point I feel like I have watched a thousand videos on Channel, Dior, PDM, etc. I'm in IL for the giveaway.
Great review of a fascinating house. I really enjoy the smells of Japan and have been looking for a house that could deliver something similar. Roasted Green Tea and Yuzu are fascinating to me. Hello from WA state!
They all sound good, but the sumo wrestler I think is my favorite. I haven't tried anything from this house before, but it is sounding appealing to me. I live in CA. Thanks!
I would love to try these scents. As I've gotten older, my nose has changed and I like more unique and spicier scents versus the sweeter smelling scents I used to wear. I'm interested in the Sumo Wrestler scent because of the patchouli note that was mentioned in that one. Hello, from Arkansas!
Really interested in all of these scents, but particularly the Green Tea. I actually love the smell of seaweed, it’s very nostalgic for me coming from an asian household, and I absolutely love the smell of roasted green tea. Really drawn to the Japanese outlook/aesthetic of the brand. Thanks from Washington state!
Really does sound quite unique. Don't know why I have such a strong connection with the Japanese culture (might be my martial arts background) but the scent of hinoki wood, cherry blossom and green tea really seem to resonate with me. That thyme in Yuzu is intriguing though. Don't think I have a single fragrance in my collection that features it prominently, but I do love my basil and rosemary. Would love to try that one. MI

I think Sumo wrestler sounds the worst by name, but the best by description 😁. Definitely like the idea of learning about new houses every week. So many unknown houses out there, but only the main players get love. Keep up the great content. Best wishes from NJ!
Thank for the nice review! Thanks for the new company reviews, from Iowa.
Thanks for the great review Sebastian. This is a new house for me and I really the note combinations and the idea behind the concept of Japanese fragrances. Looking at all these fantastic notes, I can't really help but want to smell all of them. I think the Roasted Green Tea and the Sumo Wrestler would be my top picks. Regards from WI, USA
Yuzu sounds amazing. An amber-like condensed citrus with thyme makes my mouth water. I think I need that in my growing collection. I enjoy your videos and very glad I came across your channel. I have recently purchased several Guerlain fragrances after hearing your opinions of the fragrance house. Keep up the good work keeping us entertained and informed. Texas
We love you man. Don’t know where the hell the fragrance community was before you? Who is going out there way to do what you do? You have enriched my fragrance journey 10 fold and I’m sure thousands more like me.
These all sound so amazing! I'm definitely wanting to smell the Yuzu the most! Yet again another great review on a house that I had no previous knowledge of. Sending love from Hawaii, USA!
Hope I am not too late to participate! I like the sound of Roasted Green Tea and Sumo Wrestler- but I would probably pick the tea one as my choice because of how you raved about the drydown. I can handle the laver note lol. I live in Seattle WA.
Great review as always Sebastian. Haven't tried this house - Yuzu Citrus sounds right up my alley - love a good citrus frag. Thanks for the giveaway, checking in from Pennsylvania USA
Kinda like to try everyone of them. The tea is something I want to try first. Tried a lot of tea fragrances and it’s been a mixed bag. Great and informative videos. ❤️ New Jersey
Will look for samples before I buy but you do a great job at explaining the scent, my first choice is the GreenTea, love coconut and peanut 😀 Seattle WA
Great video and I enjoyed it and sumo wrestler and I sounds the best to me because it has a lot of notes that I like and thanks for the giveaway and have a blessed day
Thank you for the information. I live in Korea, and the brand you told me about this time would be a very good perfume for me living in Korea with similar climate.
Of all the fragrance reviews on TH-cam I enjoy yours the best. I also like the idea of introducing a new house each week. Yuzo seems the most interesting of the three. I really enjoy citrus fragrances and this one sounds like something I would enjoy. I'm going to check their site out. Thank you for a great review. Highland NY.
@@ThePerfumeGuy I am but my understanding of the language is limited. My grandparents were fluent. They were born and raised there. My father didn't speak it or at least I never heard him.
Yuzu has been on my radar since your in store review. I tried Heeley's Notes de Yuzu and was disappointed with the salt scent, keep in mind I like salt scents like Alabatross from House of Matriarch. I mix Yuzu and Ginger juice, a dash of soy sauce to make a broth so I'm familiar with the scent. Roasted Green tea, I'm curious about that weird note, maybe I'll like it, I like stinky fish stuff and seaweed salad. Thanks from Nevada. I'd like a comparison between J-Scent and Di Ser, high end Japanese brand.
Great reviews, Sebastian! USA

USA
I think the roasted green tea sounds the best ... I can make it thru 10 seconds of an off putting smell to get to a gorgeous tea! Im from Illinois.
I have yawahada "soft skin". Really nice scent and it really does remind me of Japan

That's the other one I want to try again. I love soapy fragrances with Aldehydes. Really enjoying Aldehydes lately!! :)
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews it lasted me a whole night’s sleep. And that’s saying a lot for someone with my sleeping habits....
Ha. I'm curious to really try it soon! :)
私もJ-Scentを愛用しています!

The peanut note is too strong for me. Roasted Green Tea was nauseating for me
I love trying and learning about new fragrances and would love a review on a new house each week! Of the three from J-Scent, Roasted Green Tea sounds most interesting for its refreshing and comforting qualities. Big thank you from Chicago!
lived in Japan 6 years. would love to capture that green tea magic again.
YAY I JUST ORDERED LIKE 10 SAMPLES FROM THIS BRAND

I have Hanamizake. Great scent smell like you’re drinking sake at the beginning and feel a fruity smell and then floral. Just love it.
I love the notes of Yuzu Citrus Aromatic. All those juicy citrus notes sound like such an uplifting fragrance. I live in Pennsylvania.

I’d love to check out Yuzu. I love the note & I also enjoy green scents, so it sounds interesting. Thanks for highlighting the house!
Yuzu sounds fascinating - I love the idea of very present thyme with citrus. Massachusetts

Great video😄 I've never tried any fragrance houses from Japan - all sound very interesting especially roasted green tea. USA.
I heard Ramunu is great
Yuzu sounds amazing!!!! Especially in this humid summer weather in Houston, TX. I’ve never heard of J-Scent and would love to discover their scents. ❤️
Interesting review! I’m most interested in the roasted green tea since I love drinking green tea. Drinking tea for me is about the aroma so smell is most important. USA
Thanks for sharing this house!
The best fragrance reviewer alive!
Great review of a fascinating house. I really enjoy the smells of Japan and have been looking for a house that could deliver something similar. Roasted Green Tea and Yuzu are fascinating to me. Hello from WA state!
I would love to try the roasted green tea, the notes sound so interesting especially the peanut. Love from Texas!
Also, in terms of what I'd like to try-definitely the Roast Green Tea out of curiosity for the peanut note. Checking in from Brooklyn, NY!
The yuzu one sounds amazing. It's my favorite bc the notes seem refreshing. Watching from NJ!
It looks pretty interesting, I'll have to try the samples. Ramune, sake under cherry blossoms, and yuzu sound particularly good.

Thanks for the new company reviews, from Iowa.
do you have any comfy cozy tea fragrances that you like that aren’t to harsh and only for winter?:)
I'd love Yuzu and Roasted green tea.
Texas
The thyme and citrus action in Yuzu sounds amazing. I'm in NY. Thanks!
I do want to try that
We love you man. Don’t know where the hell the fragrance community was before you? Who is going out there way to do what you do? You have enriched my fragrance journey 10 fold and I’m sure thousands more like me.
I've never heard of these so it's great to learn more about them from you 🍀
These all sound so amazing! I'm definitely wanting to smell the Yuzu the most! Yet again another great review on a house that I had no previous knowledge of. Sending love from Hawaii, USA!
i just want to order this j-scent and your video coming, i dont expect this, nice!!
Smells like seaweed snack.. to me it was heavy and..meaty like a punch on the nose with food scent
Kinda like to try everyone of them. The tea is something I want to try first. Tried a lot of tea fragrances and it’s been a mixed bag.
Great and informative videos. ❤️
New Jersey
Thanks. Just keep in mind re the Tea fragrance with the fleshy. fishy start! :)
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews I wouldn’t mind. I think it’s good to be exposed to off putting/weird scents to really develop the nose 😁
Hey there! I would love to be entered into the giveaway! Green tea sounds super pleasant! Thank you for the review!!!
Will look for samples before I buy but you do a great job at explaining the scent, my first choice is the GreenTea, love coconut and peanut 😀 Seattle WA
Great video and I enjoyed it and sumo wrestler and I sounds the best to me because it has a lot of notes that I like and thanks for the giveaway and have a blessed day
I've never tried any fragrance houses from Japan - all sound very interesting especially roasted green tea. Here in San Diego CA. Great video😄
Thank you for the information. I live in Korea, and the brand you told me about this time would be a very good perfume for me living in Korea with similar climate.
Omg.. that was what i smelled at first with roasted tea... choked me out a little. The dried down did smell like tea.. but the top note was ughhh
Armenian?
Eench Bes Es?
@@ThePerfumeGuy Fine thank you. And you?
Just making sure you are Armenian. Yes lav em! ;)
@@ThePerfumeGuy I am but my understanding of the language is limited. My grandparents were fluent. They were born and raised there. My father didn't speak it or at least I never heard him.
I see no worries! 😄
Thank you so much.omg.im so excited. Than you so much jscent and sebastian.muahh
I'd like a comparison between J-Scent and Di Ser, high end Japanese brand.
like the idea of the new house intro idea. Very interested in this house. Big fan of Yuzu as well. Would be awesome to win the samples. USA
Great reviews, Sebastian! USA
