I love how now Asus is experimenting with so many new and weird features in their new products: FlipCamera, ScreenPad, ScreenPad+... These things get people talking about Asus, make great headlines and make Asus stand out from the crowd. If these features are well received they're just gonna stick with them, otherwise they're gonna innovate once more. Great!

I read somewhere its gonna cost around 2,5k so on the level of the Surface Book 2 15" im currently on.
If that price point is true im gonna definitely sell my Surface and buy this instead because boy I can see myself getting 150% efficiency on Premiere Pro on this

As a developer, I can see myself letting the terminal stuff in the bottom screen while coding on the big one.
The same for writers, musicians, designers, etc. Asus just came to get all people hahahahaa
Not only that, but being able to write out problems on the bottom screen, and write out sudo code, then go ahead and implement it in actual code on the top one.. this is fucking amazing. I work at an apple store, but I want this computer

ASUS Rocks! After my Mac's couldn't keep up with Pro Tools upgrades my nephew gave me his older ASUS G750JW Gaming laptop, I installed two solid state drives and added memory. It runs Pro tools better than any Mac I ever used. Lower buffer settings and almost no latency. I produce everything from Rock, Rap, Country to Rock Musicals on a gaming laptop. I can only imagine how well a newer model would work or a desktop for that matter. Once you leave Mac you'll never go back.

@@Niels_f2704 The Yoga Book doesn't use dual-screen tech (sadly), the "lower" half can simply switch between keyboard and handwriting mode.

This is the perfect laptop for music makers... That second display is perfect to fit a mixer. Hell, since it's touchscreen you could literally use it like almost a physical mixer.
Probably the best laptop ever.. Would definitely look forward in getting one.

my laptop is an old 2011 Asus Notebook, but it worked for me for years and I can say it aged like fine wine!

I have this laptop and it's beyond amazing. I am not usually a laptop user, I have probably went through 10 laptops from the Surface Pro i5/8gb ram, Macbook Pro with an i5/touchbar/8gb ram, alienware r4 i7/16gb/1070gtx, wacom companion i7/16gb, google laptop etc and I actually kept this laptop. I usually return them because I can never find the right laptop that takes care of all my needs. This laptop is the complete package I just love it. The only thing I wish I could change would be the SOUND. I feel like the sound is a bit lacking and it sounds kinda small if that makes sense.
This is a gaming laptop all in 1 because it has rtx 2060 and core i9

So good that it's not just another gimmick. It does have functionality.I can imagine so many scenarios where it will come in handy.
I think it could be very useful for all sorts of uses, I do think however, having the keyboard so low would mean you would have to move the laptop further away from you than an ordinary design so as to use the keyboard and the lack of wrist rest isn't ideal. My first thought is you could have data, reference material or such on the top screen and say, have MS excel in the screen below, it would be far more practical than having to tab between programs for so many uses or simply have Messenger on the bottom screen and whatever you are working on in the main top screen. Its pretty awesome really. I think this design could quite possibly be one of those times that once you use it, you just cant go back, so many practical uses.
