If Dubois misses even a quarter of the number of right hands from AJ as he missed from Hergovich early in that fight, he will be finished. I don't know what was going on with Hergoviche's power that night but his right hand seemed not to affect Dubois at all. And there were a lot of right hand punches form Hergovich in the begining. AJ's right hand is obviously different, even one could be enough to switch the lights off if Dubois shows the same level of defense, or belter to say lack of defense.
I just think Dubois is going to rush in and get countered with a straight right if he can take the power he will take a knee by the 6th if he can't it will finish early, he's going to make bank he can take a few months off and there are some great match ups for him to climb the mountain again, he's only 26 in 3 years, Fury, AJ and Uysk will be retired and he will have grown into a great fighter, then he will be sparked out by moses Itauma

Dubois to win by KO...he is fast, powerful, mobile, good hooks and jab, seems like a good engine and probably can take shots better than Joshua....Dubois needs to use some feints, double jab and move his head more though....but all things he can do. Joshua overconfident I think. Joshua, putting too much on victories over two poor opponents, hasn't fought a big puncher in a while, especially a young one. Dubois has been inspired and is is confident, relaxed and determined now.
Much being said about Dubois last couple of fights and how well he did, but... Miller was grossly overweight and, what... 6 years away from his last fight against any decent level of opposition? And, he still roughed up Dubois at times and almost saw the final bell. Dubois was easy to hit. And Hrgovic... aside from a questionable decision over Zhang... has he fought a genuine top level opponent? He went into the Dubois fight so arrogant, like he was rematching De Mori, and he hit Dubois with so many right hands, I think his arm got tired out, and he realised... he probably shoulda trained for this. But again... Dubois was easy to hit. Sure, Dubois exorcised some demons by toughing it out in both those fights, when many thought he'd bend the knee at the first sign of any meaningful pressure, but c'mon... neither of those guys were ever going to hit him with the speed, accuracy and power that AJ's going to. Dubois has a chance, because he hits like a truck, but this is AJ's fight to lose. His recent opposition might've been easier work than Dubois, but everything he did in those fights was inch perfect. Dubois is a bigger challenge than Wallin or Ngannou, but if AJ maintains that focus and precision... he gets Dubois out of there in 5 rounds or less.
People sating Dubois isnt an overthinker is irrelevant. Hes a human being capable of thought. He may not be the quickest thinker, but if you are capable of stringing a sentence together and are capable of feeling, you capable of thought. Dan has already started at the Press Conferences, why??? Because he is thinking about the process, the potential outcomes and and what things will feel like if he doesnt get it right on the night.
call me back just to chill your biggest fan this is Brian, I cant wait for AJ to grab the mic again and cut another promo in the ring ......Let me tell you something brother, I'm heavy, three cheers for DDD 👏
Clearly Dubois is a heavy hitter, but really he didn't knock down big baby or hergovich so i'm not convinced he has a single big knockout punch, he just battered those guys to win, but to do that you need to land a fair amount of punches, I just don't think he'll be doing that against AJ and i think AJ has really found his form with Ben Davison and AJ will be a lot harder to hit, so i really can't see Dubois making it past past the middle rounds. As much as i like Daniel i think this is an easy night for AJ.
Can't wait for this, the card is stacked to the gills, like 5 fights I'm excited about. As for the main event I've just got a feeling about Dubois, if AJ isn't at the races or gets caught early he could easily finish him. That said if I was putting money on it I'd back AJ. Will be a class night though, gonna have me a few cheeky beers and enjoy the night. Come on!
I see it as can Dubois get any decent shots in to make AJ think before AJ can land the big shot on him. If Dubois can and get respect we could be in for a fight, however Dubois don't really move so I think AJ will drop the left hook or right hand bomb and stop him.
This guys all over place but atleast hes objective and makes a case for both even though he lacks actual technical knowledge about the jab and fighting styles. Nobody seems to have mentioned AJ's inability now or reluctance to throw combinations even against walin he rarely put a 3 together until 6th round
It's basically a boxer/puncher (AJ) v a come forward pressure fighter/slugger (Dubois), stylistically, a boxer/puncher beats a pressure fighter the majority of the time, then factor in Speed, defence, ring IQ, experience all these favour AJ, the power argument don't really matter because power alone is not a guaranteed recipe for success, and both have enough power to hurt each other, this really is AJ's fight to lose, of course Dubois as a chance but the odds favour AJ to win anyway he wants.
I don't see it with Dubois, I just don't see it. He's too easy to hit. If AJ takes to his heels like the Ruiz 2 fight and keeps him at range I don't think DDD has enough to get to him. I don't see this being a slug fest- that plays into Dubois' favour and I think AJ/Ben will plan around it.
the only chance dubois has its to wait until AJ thorws his right as its a lazy right he doesnt bring it back to protect his head quick enough so hes always open to the left hook which is dubois favourite punch that could wobble AJ or even knock him out so AJ must protect that if he doesnt then dubois has a chance but dubois is really easy to hit and for me its the big difference can dubois take AJ,s punches i dont think he can and thats why i give dubois no more than 3 rounds.
Fair assessment dude! Looking forward to an entertaining scrap, just hope it's not some contrived fucked up bent result, i despair of some of the weird results in the marquee division these past few years.
This ^^ The Left hook is there for DDD, just can be land it before he gets flattened, or has Davidson got AJ to close that door. AJ, but DDD has a 3 round fight to win.
AJ gets a lot of stick about the Ruiz fight but for me he just got caught when going in for the kill and never really recovered. Ruiz despite being out of shape is a tough guy with fast hands. I think AJ has learned from this. He lost to Usyk but so did Fury, it’s about finding the balance between going in for the kill but not leaving yourself open. Similar thing happened against Whyte but Dillian wasn’t able to capitalise . If Ruiz could take his training seriously he’d be a real threat at world level but he’s still dangerous and a top fighter imo.
Both are very static fighters. Very little movement. But I think AJ can pace a fight out and has the ability to change plans if things are going not to plan. I haven’t seen anything to suggest Dubois can do this. Should be a good fight. AJ to win in 5.
@@kurt6708 Joshua has the intellect and common sense to listen to Ben's instructions off the back of a round whereas I feel DDD is a much more raw and emotional fighter and may take a round or two to take instruction onboard, if at all.
AJ is not a static fighter. He has issues with stamina amongst others which he has improved a lot on but, definitely not robotic especially for his height and weight
I mean.. IF Dubois did get the better of AJ in sparring and holds on to that he's fucked.. Whyte dropped AJ in the amateurs and so much was spoken about it.. yes AJ got got caught by him, but in the end he floored Whyte in nasty fashion. Dubois can't hold onto what happened sparring yearsss ago
I like Dubois and in isolation I'd want him to win, but with the Fury fight not out of the question, I need AJ to stay on top in case Fury finds his backbone

Taking anything Anthony Fowler says as gospel is a mental thing to do. 😂
great video but the amount of times you guys have mentioned 96000 capacity i can’t help but think of carl froch 😂
Come on!
i reckon dd takes him round 6
I am going for dubois win by knock out in the 5th round
I don't see it with Dubois, I just don't see it. He's too easy to hit. If AJ takes to his heels like the Ruiz 2 fight and keeps him at range I don't think DDD has enough to get to him. I don't see this being a slug fest- that plays into Dubois' favour and I think AJ/Ben will plan around it.
Yeah?
Oh yeah?
the only chance dubois has its to wait until AJ thorws his right as its a lazy right he doesnt bring it back to protect his head quick enough so hes always open to the left hook which is dubois favourite punch that could wobble AJ or even knock him out so AJ must protect that if he doesnt then dubois has a chance but dubois is really easy to hit and for me its the big difference can dubois take AJ,s punches i dont think he can and thats why i give dubois no more than 3 rounds.
Where have u seen aj being able to change plan in the middle of the fight? He failed to do that twice against usyk
Usyk is different class nobody does that to Usyk
@@kurt6708His new team helps fella, having a trainer like ben is massive for him
@@kurt6708 Joshua has the intellect and common sense to listen to Ben's instructions off the back of a round whereas I feel DDD is a much more raw and emotional fighter and may take a round or two to take instruction onboard, if at all.
AJ is not a static fighter. He has issues with stamina amongst others which he has improved a lot on but, definitely not robotic especially for his height and weight
This aged like milk.
I mean.. IF Dubois did get the better of AJ in sparring and holds on to that he's fucked.. Whyte dropped AJ in the amateurs and so much was spoken about it.. yes AJ got got caught by him, but in the end he floored Whyte in nasty fashion. Dubois can't hold onto what happened sparring yearsss ago
i've won twice on AJ KO's in round 7 so i'm going with that. and also a cheeky round 9 bet.
I like Dubois and in isolation I'd want him to win, but with the Fury fight not out of the question, I need AJ to stay on top in case Fury finds his backbone
this is a throwback fight could be fight of the year
I v always love ur analysis despite leaning towards a j
Well, you didn't get this right :) It was fun though
AJ comes out fast, gasses by 5, DD stops him in 7
Hopefully see u there m8..I'm goin n was at aj v klitcshko as well n I can't wait now.everyone is there it's maaad.
