I had 20 quid in my pocket that night,I only wish I was braver to put even a tenner on ddd,it was 9-1 for the ko of Joshua,I ended putting a quid on ddd,so I won a tenner! I'm not a gambling man but in hindsight I should of been braver but wasn't expecting ddd to win to be honest! 😅

He can now demand double what AJ would have got if he won... 20-50 mil for a rematch win or lose and Turki will understand, anything less Dubois should sitting on his stocks and sell shares.

The ref wanted AJ to have a early career
Obviously the ref was paid off to help AJ as much as he could. Other refs would of stopped it at the end of the 3rd when just the ropes were holding AJ up. Moaning about the head, moaning about the forearm, and straight in on the one and only low blow all on Dubois, but never once told AJ for holding for 5 rounds, he held Dubois like it was his wife.
Yet the fight was amazing.
@@RSR423 Maybe but he didn't do AJ any favors in the 3rd round after he touched the canvas with both gloves.
That should have been a 10 count at that point obviously but instead the ref let the fight continue resulting in AJ taking serious additional punishment from Daniel, who continued blast AJ's head with big shots even when AJ was sitting on the last rope.
So he didn't do AJ any favours in that moment and it resulted in AJ having to litteraly crawl back to his corner on his hands and knees instead of having a standing 10 count and reaching the end of the round on his feet without his brains being scrambled.
So overall and for both fighters he was just a terrible ref. Sure, he was completely biased in favor of boxings golden boy but he certainly didn't do AJ any favours in that moment which could have resulted in AJ being knocked unconscious and/or taking serious damage that stays with him long beyond the fight.

I was there fought it was a good event but I prefer smaller events tbh I think the view at Wembley isn't good and the atmosphere at smaller events is very good. I do like the kind of atmosphere at big events loads of money and great vibe with the lighting and stuff in it and is kind of rocking but I like at some of the smaller events they're in tiny arenas with a roof on the right night they're electric.

Only the main fight was good and having to sit through Liam Gallagher was a punsihment

My friend works for Brent council and he told me yesterday that they was struggling to sell tickets and the council workers were given free tickets. Also he said they were told it was at least 10,000 less than 96,000 in attendance. Frank got all angry as he knows it’s true.
The same thing happened before Anthony Joshua - Parker fight in Cardiff. They gave away thousands of tickets to soldiers and council workers. Joshua Vs Ngannou just sold 4,000 PPVs in the US

I was gutted!!!!! I had dubois rnd 3 knockout at 66-1 !, so I lost out on over 1400 quid because of the ref not sticking to the rules
Betting on boxing is frustrating af. The amount of close fights where the underdog is robbed and you could of won a shed load.
Frank is right about Saudi. I’ve been a few times now and the hospitality is unbelievable. Such a futuristic place as well in the big cities. I’d recommend a visit.

Tbf, I'd be more unhappy about the ref not counting the gloves touch the ground, if I was in the AJ camp. He continued taking punishment and went down 5s later, didn't help him at all.
Though, I get the idea that it could be an attempt to help AJ.

If 66% or more fans vote for no rematch, then rematch clause will not be excercised.

98,128 attendance of course there has to be empty seats for security purposes. 90,000 seats around the stands and you could hypothetically put 15 000 on the ground floor but they can't max it all out for security emergencies. So 98,128 = 14,000 + on the ground and 84,000+ around the stands so of course there was empty seats.
Na the warning was good, Daniel is usually allowed to just low blow/headbutt his way through fights with impunity.

I was there. There were loads of empty seats. There were that many they had to cover loads over. Annoying as I paid the day they came out £100.60 and I was back in the rafters! They could have upgraded me.

Because Warren and Hearn arranged the fight before Dubois was awarded the champion title. Therefore AJ was the bigger name at the time the contracts were signed and Dubois didn’t have the belt. In June 2024 Dubois then beat Hrgovic for the IBF interim heavyweight title and then became champion proper after Fury-Usyk fight.
