@WhenYouKnowYouKnow it is by faith that a righteous person has life. All we could offer God on our behalf is a filthy rag. What are we talking about here?
Everything is everything. Context can be critical buts it's not everything. Look at Peter quoting Joel. Look at Paul wrestling all kinds of things off the page, "muzzle not an ox ...does God care for oxen?" Even Jesus might stretch a context here or there. The Jews saw scripture as a living and flexible thing. Be balanced, academic AND faith-filled.
@@greatlistener3740 No Christian EVER has claimed that it is OK to sin. The claim is, that if we do happen to sin, that we do not harden ourselves to the point we do not repent of it. If we think we are perfect.....well, how exactly are we going to repent for something we cannot even acknowledge we did? Pride......it is the root of EVERY wrong that has EVER existed since the creation. Pride was what resided in the serpent, before he even opened his mouth. What is more prideful than claiming we are what the I AM claims of Himself. Lucifer had five I AM claims in Isiah, THESE CLAIMS ARE DEATH!!!! Only YHWH is perfect. If we could become perfect after being forgiven.......WHY DID ZERO PEOPLE DO IT (besides Yeshua) IN THE ENTIRETY OF SCRIPTURE!!! Also, why the @#$% did Christ have to die if there was a path to salvation, "becoming perfect after forgiveness" other than his brutal, and if this theology is correct, UNESCESSARY crucifixion?!?!?
Yes, Justin isn't saying God isn't the healer or that God doesn't heal people. God absolutely heals people, but it is up to Him and Him ONLY who is healed, when, why, etc. It's not God's will for EVERYONE to be healed - if it were, everyone would be healed. And these charlatans are certainly not healing anyone or being used by God to do so either, they're proven liars. But God absolutely can heal people and still does, and always has, but only when it is His will to do so.

I was healed by Jesus Christ from a lifetime of debilitating anxiety/depression that had to be medicated. No more meds and I am stable and closer to the Lord than ever! Thank you Father! God heals and I will never cease to pray for the sick when the Holy Spirit compels me to. I don't see one Bible verse that forbids us to lay hands on the sick and pray for their healing in Jesus name!! I myself have to pray for my own healing from my carnal nature daily. We must remain humble in the sight of the Lord and be ready to receive a healing whenever He so wills it. The people who I feel bad for are the people who have invisible disabilities, therefore they never receive prayer. People with visible disabilities should feel blessed that so many love them enough to pray for them!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with praying for the sick, laying hands on the sick in prayers, praying for our own physical, mental, and/or spiritual healing, and so on. There's nothing at all wrong with that. And the Lord ABSOLUTELY DOES still heal people today, and every cessationist believes that. We just don't believe that these word-faith people are running around healing people, they're liars, they're charlatans, THEY cannot heal people at will, none of us can heal people at will, none of us has that power, only the Lord has that power and only uses it when it is his sovereign will to heal the person. That's not what these word-faith people are teaching though. There is a huge difference between, "the Lord CAN heal anyone, and heals whom He wills for His own reasons, and for some, healing is not God's will for them," etc., versus "I, Benny Hinn/Andrew Womack/Kenneth Copeland/whoever can heal whoever I want, whenever, because I wield the Holy Spirit like a magic wand." Those are not the same things at all, it's a crucially important distinction.
Justin Peters would not disagree with what you said. The issue is saying that God always wills someone to be healed, when in reality, if someone wills someone to be healed it will happen, and if he wills they dont be healed, they wont be. ofc we make our requests known to God, and if it is his will to heal then it will happen.
Why is it we don’t see people with real physical ailments, an amputation for example, have their limbs ‘regrown’? Why is there absolutely NO evidence for ANY of these so called ‘healings’, not a single shred? I suffer with acute anxiety and manage it through repetitive prayer (Jesus Prayer) using a prayer rope and that has allowed me to manage it. I’m not ‘healed’. But I get by just fine.
@@tomweald186 there is evidence. Andrew has several Healing Journey CD's where people have documented their healing. Do you want to just "get by" or be healed? @@kentuckylifeatitsbest8947 But He is not under obligation to heal. He didn't heal Paul from his thorn in the flesh, even when Paul prayed and asked him to heal on three specific occasions. The reason he did not heal him is that God had a greater objective than physical healing, which was that Paul would see that God's grace is enough even when we are not healed. The word/faith doctrine is inaccurate, otherwise no one who is staunch believer in it would ever die. Traditionally, that has been interpreted to say the thorn was to keep Paul humble. Therefore, God had to be the author of it, because only God would want Paul to be humble. But there is a godly way of being exalted. First Peter 5:6 says, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” Those who submit (humble) themselves to God will be exalted by God. Paul was not speaking of exalting himself above measure through pride, but rather, the thorn came from Satan to keep Paul from being exalted by God in the eyes of the people...the thorn is given to prevent Paul from being proud, haughty or conceited on the basis of his vision ...To make it clear You think your better than anyone else ..Just coz God of Heaven Blesses or Gives You A Gift and in your thinking your better than anyone else But your not ..this is what it means

Thank you for continuing to engage with those in word of faith, etc churches. Our Father loves us SO much that he would save us from our utter depravity. That, is love. Thank you again, you have taught me so much.

@@tonymedina6493 Where in the above comments did you find someone saying either, "God does not heal," or "prideful men who charge money heal?" You are making a strawman argument, and pretty weakly, I might add.
I just had a family member visit me who just graduated from Charis College. They spoke at the pulpit that Justin was in front of. I said God sent a thorn in the flesh to Paul. This person simply said, "I do not believe that". 2 this 2:9 because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion. With all my heart I pray for my family who believe they are saved yet can not see the truth. Our hope is in the Lord.
Same here brother. Will pray for your family as well. I used to think I was the only one who had family who aren't saved/behave as unregenerate but are convinced they are, but I meet more believers who are in the same situation.
That scripture says it as a messenger of Satan to buffet him. If you look at thorn in the old testement it mentioned a person usually some kind of persecution bc if you look at Paul’s life it wa full of that . Also I learned that where it says exhailted , there is also a godly exaltation. Jesus only did what his father told him to do and he said if you saw him you saw the father . Jesus never put sickness or allow it on anyone to teach them anything . He also said we would do the same works he did bc of the Holy Spirit . Also Paul didn’t get told no , he got told that Gods grace was sufficient for him and made perfect in weakness . When we understand grace more we get revelation of what he was saying . Also we were promised persecution. Gods plan has always been life . In him there is no darkness only light. I have gone back and forth with this and from what I see healing isn’t something he can do it’s part of his nature it’s who he is . When he healed it was out of love and compassion. Also many times people did something out of faith of their hearts . We are collaborating with God and his workmanship. Also look up the word salvation in Greek and do a deep study :) we are in a new covenant and it’s beautiful Jesus died for our sins and salvation in every area . It’s not the will of the father for anyone to perish but sadly they do without knowing him. Also since finding out Gods true nature and how deeply he loves his children I have spoke the word in faith and trust in my God and have seen many healings including my son raised twice in womb and near drowning . My marriage saved , my mother healed , my husband , many fevers gone that could have been bad , my life saved twice and many more . Gods word is power and life. I just wanted to share what I have learned and. Testimony ! Blessings to you.

I use to be critical of Andrew when I saw him in a documentary, but honestly I knew nothing about him. I was just being critical. Then I actually started to listen to his teachings and Bible studies and wow they have been such a blessing. But he’s just a regular person, he’s not God, he’s not a cult, he’s not even a preacher, just a teacher. He’s not my only teacher or greatest teacher, just a teacher. Thank you for this. I have two children who are severely disabled. One is blind and one is in a wheelchair. It is not uncommon for strangers to approach us in public, and they want to pray for healing for my children (especially for my blind son). This helps me know what to say next time they want to "heal" my boys.
Do not be naive.Don't stand in the way of your child's healing just because a cynical theologian has erroneously taught you that miracles are not for today.
Any person who tries to "heal" your boys , as you say, are being obedient to the word of God. We are told to pray for the sick. They are doing it out of love and to forbid them might be blocking a blessing. Please understand that when the Holy Spirit compels us to do something, we MUST be obedient. God bless you.
So you will tell them"no I dont want you to pray because I have no faith for the healing of my sons."?I need healing as well but it has not come so I blame my lack of faith.Does this crush me to pieces?Of course not! I pray for more faith and try to use what faith I do have in other areas. But unfortunately most peoples egos and pride wont let them grow so they have to change doctrine to avoid cognitive dissonance.
Good day Jenny, I am 80 now but years have passed since I believed these mega men and women who tauht fragmented messages and built their name and property into empires, no different than politicians. As I grow in grace (through suffering) and faith, and the knowledge of Yah, I looked for teachers that were not the center of bible colleges, ministrie, etc, etc. and all the pomp and pagentry. I learned the still small Voice is my teacher, His Voice is not in all the powerful but requires, being still and humble before our Creator King Yahusha. I repented of being ignorant and stupid in being a part of the problem. I don't go to, or watch, or listen to them any more. The teaching that "god wants us well" is a snare vbecause so many true believers are sick or havinggreat struggles. Yah's grace is sufficient. Thank you to Justin to put his money were his mouth is, he walks out his salvation. My prayer for us all is Yahshua keep us in the hour of tribulation, don't tke us out, be strong in us and be glorified most high Yahuah. Hallyahuah❤

I know that you sincerely believe this but I doubt its accurate. Only truth sets us free and Andrew is a false teacher. If you indeed received true deliverance and healing, this was solely by God's grace despite Andrew's ministry and not because of it. You harm the Body of Christ by promoting a known false teacher as being beneficial. Correlation is not causation. ❣
Excellent work as always, brother. It is so sad when individuals have become so deceived by a cultic ideology that even the very words of Sacred Scripture right in front of their very eyes can not cause them to see the light. Be well, dear one. May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you always and may your ministry continue to grow. I will definitely pray for Mike.
It’s hurts my heart for this young man. I was lost in the WOF movement because that’s the type of church my parents took us as kids, so it’s hard when u see the deception that’s been taught to you . Between Listening to JMac and A. Begg and RC Sproul and seeing your videos - Clouds without waters- my chains were broken. I read pilgrims progress and my whole life changed, I was set on the right path and I can’t praise God enough. Thanks for your faithfulness Justin!
@Mike Rutkowski It’s a simple trick on your part to look at Scripture and realize that sin separates you from God. Your solution seems to be to simply deny that you sin; which is self-deception. It’s also a sign of pride; which itself is a sin. Calling a person a “fool” is also a sin. Do you still believe falsely that you are free from sin? Why do you think we have a Bible that instructs us in righteousness? If we don’t sin, I don’t think we would be in need of Scripture. Jesus paid for my sin on the cross. Faith in Christ, who is the sovereign Lord begins with him imparting justification, and leads to sanctification. But we as believers have the Holy Spirit’s seal, which we cannot lose; because it’s God who is perfectly sovereign and faithful, not us. I think it would behoove you to humbly seek the Lord’s guidance in Scripture. I think through a process of knowing His word, and going through many rebukes from He who is holy, you’ll be well on your way to sanctification. Blessings.
@@jennyvthomas4913 Hi Jenny, Would you believe I spent an hour on a response to your comment, and I accidentally deleted it? Ok, well here’s the 2nd attempt (this may have several parts) I’m going to try to address everything you stated, so I’ll blockquote sections, with my response. You: [Jesus said that everything He did was the Father’s will and work.] Me: [Correct.] You: [Name one person JESUS put sickness on… HE ONLY HEALED!] Me: Jesus is God incarnate. He is fully God, and fully man. When he was on the earth, he healed. That is absolutely true. But Jesus did not just live for 30 years on earth as a man. He is eternal. I think you likely believe this as I do, so I won’t go into the Scriptural proofs for this, as there are just too many. There’s an abundance of proof. But I want to draw your attention to several passages, which show that Jesus was present in the Old Testament days, and appeared to the patriarchs, prophets, and many others. [No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.] John 1:18 ESV This is saying that not one person ever saw “God” in the Old Testament; yet God appeared to many in the OT. But rather than being a contradiction, it means that no one has seen “God the Father.” How do we know this? Because of how “God” is used throughout the New Testament to refer to the Father; particularly in John 1:1-2, where the Word (Jesus) is said to have been with God (The Father) “in the beginning.” So then if no one ever saw God the Father in the OT, who did they see? John 8:58 gives us a clue. [Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.] John 8:58-59 ESV The reason they are attempting to stone Jesus here is because they did not recognize him as God; so what he said to them: “before Abraham was, I AM,” was blasphemy; specifically because Jesus was claiming God’s name from Isaiah 41, 43, 45, 51, and Exodus 3. So Jesus in effect identified himself as the divine person who not only visited Abraham, but also Moses, as well as Isaiah, and if we extrapolate; since Jesus is the Angel of the Lord who visited Moses, he’s also the Angel of the Lord who visited many others. But there’s more: A very early manuscript of the book of Jude contains a variant; which many scholars have acknowledged as likely the original rendering. The ESV translates it with the older variant this way: [Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.] Jude 1:5 ESV So this passage is suggesting that Jesus himself led the Israelites out of Egypt in Exodus, and even destroyed “those who did not believe.” And as you have rightly pointed out, Jesus does whatever the Father does, so when he says in John 10 “I and the Father are One,” He’s identifying himself further as having been present with the Father from eternity. And of course there are many other passages that affirm Jesus as the God who spoke in the OT: “I am Aloha and Omega, the First and the Last,” “at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess Jesus Christ as Lord (Adonai) to the glory of God the Father.” Both of these statements were spoken by the God of the Old Testament. So what’s the point? If Jesus acted with the Father in both the Old and New Testaments, then Jesus most certainly did cause disease. God is sovereign, and nothing that happens in the entire universe happens outside of God’s will. Here are several passages, which expressly state that God causes disease: [If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer.”] Exodus 15:26 ESV [And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you knew, will he inflict on you, but he will lay them on all who hate you.] Deuteronomy 7:15 ESV He put diseases on the Egyptians, but He also is a healer; because He’s sovereign.
Jenny, Part 2 Other passages that show that God causes diseases: [And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from the kiln, and let Moses throw them in the air in the sight of Pharaoh. It shall become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and become boils breaking out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt.” So they took soot from the kiln and stood before Pharaoh. And Moses threw it in the air, and it became boils breaking out in sores on man and beast.] Exodus 9:8-9 ESV Of course this is related to the 2 previous quotes from Exodus and Deuteronomy. [But if you will not listen to me and will not do all these commandments, if you spurn my statutes, and if your soul abhors my rules, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant, then I will do this to you: I will visit you with panic, with wasting disease and fever that consume the eyes and make the heart ache. And you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck down before your enemies.] Leviticus 26:14-16 ESV [The LORD will strike you with wasting disease and with fever, inflammation and fiery heat, and with drought and with blight and with mildew. They shall pursue you until you perish. And the heavens over your head shall be bronze, and the earth under you shall be iron. The LORD will make the rain of your land powder. From heaven dust shall come down on you until you are destroyed.] Deuteronomy 28:22-24 ESV [O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath! For your arrows have sunk into me, and your hand has come down on me. There is no soundness in my flesh because of your indignation; there is no health in my bones because of my sin.] Psalm 38:1-3 ESV [Why will you still be struck down? Why will you continue to rebel? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint. From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and raw wounds; they are not pressed out or bound up or softened with oil.] Isaiah 1:5-6 ESV [Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles' feathers, and his nails were like birds' claws. Nebuchadnezzar Restored At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?”] Daniel 4:33-35 ESV An interesting thing to note about Nebuchadnezzar is that the Lord afflicted him because he failed to acknowledge the Lord’s sovereignty. I think he learned his lesson judging by his final praise: “all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?” And then we come to Job; a man of tremendous faith, and one who was considered righteous: First in His sovereignty God allowed Satan to destroy Job’s livelihood, wealth, and his sons and daughters, and Job’s response was: [Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. And he said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.] Job 1:20-22 ESV Notice that Job recognizes that his loss is not from Satan, but from the Lord. This is not a mistake. Job is fully acknowledging that it is God who gives, and God who takes away, because God is sovereign. Satan is merely an agent through whom God takes away. Satan is an evil deceiver, but God uses Satan to bring about His sovereign will. He allows evil to bring about His ultimate good; and if we read the book to the end, we see just how He does this. But in Chapter 2 of Job, God allows Satan to afflict him with disease: [So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took a piece of broken pottery with which to scrape himself while he sat in the ashes. Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.] Job 2:7-10 ESV Notice that Job again recognizes that the evil that has come to him was from the Lord. This is not to say that God has evil in mind, because in His sovereignty: [And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.] Romans 8:28 ESV He takes what is evil, and brings about good. We suffer from disease because of our sin and rebellion. It’s God’s judgment. He doesn’t do it maliciously, but to demonstrate His goodness in actually judging evil. We see this also in the OT: [As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.] Genesis 50:20 ESV So God both causes, and allows disease for His sovereign purpose; just like he allowed His very own Son to be maliciously tortured and killed for our benefit; to save us from the spiritual death we would otherwise suffer as a result of our sin. And not every righteous person in the New Testament was healed. I’ll get into that in my next response.
@@jennyvthomas4913 Jenny: Part 3 You: [Andrew Womack is the genuine article. I noticed you didn’t mention that Andrew offers ALL of his teachings free to everyone, just cause he has a bookstore doesn’t make him evil.] Me: I think I will address Andrew Womack at the end You: [Also, Abraham was rich, so was Job, David, Solomon etc. Beung rich and having nice things isn’t a sin, it’s the love of money that’s the root of all evil.] There are rich people and poor people in Scripture; so I don’t understand the point. Are you implying that God wants everybody to be rich in this life? Because Scripture definitely does not teach that. There is a myriad of Scripture passages that confirm this, so it really doesn’t need to be covered here. Suffice to say that God saves people of all backgrounds, and many Christians have remained very poor all their lives through no fault of their own. You: [God needs people with money (that love giving) to do His business… ] Me: Now this is a demonstrably false statement. God does not need any of us. God chooses us out of His own good will, and He can accomplish His will with or without anybody’s money. The reason why anybody is rich is because God in His sovereignty has made them so for His own purposes. Again, there’s a mountain of evidence for this in Scripture. You: [even Jesus had to manage money in His ministry so He can provide for His children.] Me: This is true. You: [Additionally, satan wrote several versions of the Bible.] Me: Another demonstrably false statement. The Bible is God’s word. Satan had no part in it. You: [If you would look into the original root words Paul said AND TAKE THAT VERSE IN CONTEXT, you’d realize that was the exact time he was PERSECUTED, stoned and and left for dead. That’s when he visited the third heaven. He was all beaten up!] Me: I’m not understanding what you’re trying to say here. You: [Jesus delivers us from sickness but persecution is a totally different story…] I don’t think you quite understand that Jesus does not “deliver us from sickness.” That is a false teaching. We will be delivered from sickness in the after life, but there is no guarantee that God will heal us in this life. As I pointed out in the first two responses, God will cause us to be sick for His own purposes, which are very good. Christians get sick and die all the time. You and I get sick. We may or may not be healthy now, but we will die one day. All of us. And what we die of will be a sickness. And so I want to point out from the New Testament, a few Christians who got sick, and some who died from their sickness: [I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need, for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill. Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.] Philippians 2:25-27 ESV [You know it was because of a bodily ailment that I preached the gospel to you at first, and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.] Galatians 4:13-14 ESV So Paul got sick. [Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity. In those days she became ill and died, and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.] Acts 9:36-37 ESV Now the Holy Spirit would not have needed to raise Tabitha from the dead through Peter, if she hadn’t in fact gotten sick and died. In fact, the same argument could be made for Lazarus. So Christians got sick and died in the New Testament era, and sometimes they were resurrected for the purpose of demonstrating God’s authority in Jesus, and God’s imparted authority in the Apostles, but the fact is, they all eventually died, either through illness or by some other means. There is no Scriptural guarantee of healing in this life.
Praise the Lord for where He has put you I pray for strength and wisdom in every encounter you have! I had a friend right when I was saved about 8 months ago when the Lord opened my eyes and I was immediately hungry for truth and by reading my Bible it’s all right there but God has to give you eyes to see. And I had a friend who follows Andrew Womack and big into this and no matter how many scriptures I brought forth and took it line by line what God said he wouldn’t have it. I pray for him as often as I can. Thank you Justin for your ministry God bless you🙏✝️
Wow 🙏 I wish I knew this before involving myself with charismatic believers 💔 My experience this year was totally different to when I first came to Christ, it's like I had to start all over again. Reading the bible and praying. They so into their practice, but I pray that they may live for the true gospel of Christ. However, this is a testimony on it's own, and it has shifted my walk as a Christian, to delve more into this before I focus on anything else. I'm so glad to see Justin Peters as well as the comments, to know I'm not the only one. Thanks for sharing your experience too. God bless! 🙏🕊️

Andrew Wommack is such an awesome solid teacher. I have grown so much in the Lord and seen a lot of transformation in my life and my family ever since I started listening to Andrew Wommack. His ministry is full of life.
Around 2007 I’m at Charis bible college. I run across some videos from Justin. I got so mad I go online, find the number on Justin’s website. He answered! For the next however long I argued (So arrogantly) with Justin. He patiently talked with me. Although nothing changed that day, I eventually came out of the charismatic church, started seminary, and ended up on staff a really theologically sound church.
@@JustinPetersMin Please rebuke Mike Rutkowski.....he is a false teacher and is leading people to hell. You posed this question. Justin Peters Ministries 5 days ago (edited) Hi Mike - tell me why I have had cerebral palsy since birth and why I still have it. I'll be waiting for your response. I argued with him back and forth for the better part of the day today, rebuking him left and right, in the comment section of Michael Hesiers (youtube channel Bible Nerds) newest video concerning "Can a Christian lose the Holy Spirit?". He is coming to these channels to try an snare followers into this twisted ridiculous cult he belongs to. He is the kind of person who screamed "WITCH" and burned other Christians at he stake for not agreeing with his theology for centuries. Or having something they have no control over in their life like your CP or my spinal damage being indicative of "being of the devil". He shows loathing and contempt to anyone that doesnt agree with his insane doctrine......which is absolutely not, "loving your enemies and praying for those who persecute you." There are gullible people in that comment section that see you have not responded and will take that as "him being right." Teaching we "become perfect" is a doctrine straight from hell. Noone could do it, thats why Yeshua/Jesus had to descend, to do what none of us ever could. Its absolutely disgusting that he is teaching that anyone who is not "totally healthy" is of the devil. So many believe in the 3 Sola's fide/grata/and scriptura, but always seem to forget the 4th, which is TOTA scripture. Its gross how people will quote scripture that supports their view, but ignore scripture that contradicts their views. Scripture is not flawed, if someone has a view that seems to coincide with some scriptures, but contradicts others.....its not scripture that has the flaw, its their dogma. I would have posted this in a more private setting, but I didn't see a discussion area on your homepage and figured a request in your most recent video would be the best chance I had of contact. Yeshua/Jesus be with you. Shalom.
Garett, I encourage you to review my brief interaction with Justin below and to also keep an open mind: what if the truth wasn't as cut and dried as either Andrew Wommack or Justin et al would like you to think it is? In what follows, I address Justin's defense, which frankly, isn't much of one: "But moving on, Acts 14:8-10 speaks of Paul healing a cripple in Lystra. The Scripture states; "Paul, observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed..." This implies that some do not have faith to be healed. Was Paul putting an unimaginably cruel burden on the man? Likewise, when Jesus went to His hometown, but could do not great miracles there because of their lack of faith in Him, was he burdening them with faith or did He take it as a given that they ought to have had faith? Secondly, your reasoning falls short; does not Scripture also speak of the disciples not being able to heal the boy suffering from seizures? Did Jesus there not put the onus on the disciples (the healers, not the one seeking healing) themselves? "O faithless and perverse generation" and "because of your (the disciples] unbelief" Jesus said to them when they could not heal the boy. Was He putting a cruel burden on them as well? When you reply, please answer these questions. Look, God never promised us this road would be easy, but it is our role as believers to have the integrity to seek God (not in the form of American Christianity) but with purity of practice, prayer and repentance. Until these things truly take place, which they might never be now that the great apostasy is upon us, we should not be disappointed at the lack of more genuine healing around us. Speaking of integrity, this brings me to MacArthur: No, God did not bless MacArthur, MacArthur blessed himself, thereby breaking God's command. Deut 17:17 states that the Israelites were to appoint a king who was to abide by this rule: "nor shall he greatly multiple silver and gold for himself" If it were to be true of a king, how much more then of a servant! The Lord said Justin, that you cannot serve God and Mammon. What part of that is unclear to you? MacArthur amassed gold and silver for himself, whether it be from book sales or donations matters not, to the tune of $130 mln in assets, $12.8 mln from ministry and donor funds, and he owns not 1, not 2, but 3 luxury homes worth millions. If he were a true disciple, he would have given his money to the needy and the church and lived on a modest amount. Can anyone picture Peter or Paul or James living in 3 luxury homes in Rome? So I will challenge you publicly, are you willing to repent of your coddling of JM and Phil Johnson and call them out for their greed?
My late wife was so engaged in battling cancer that she watched Andrew Wommack and Joseph Prince faithfully for months seeking answers to her pain and condition. She became caught up in Bethel music. These false teachers are insidious in their approach to those in a weaker state and those who are called to be their caregivers. My wife now waits for me in Heaven, thanks to her early studies with John McArthur. My theology has changed profoundly over the last 7 years since her passing. Keep holding up the banner of truth dear brother!
First I an very very sorry about your loss!!!! But I will say that joseph prince really does teach truth. I listened to him for many years. His teachings are fully based on scripture! Shoot the guy goes in extreme depths into the scriptures! Now bethel teachings are way off of scriptures in many ways! You need to understand that not all word of faith teachings and teachers are in full agreement with the fullness of the scriptures. You are being tossed to and from by several winds of doctrine. And also I don't even like the teem "word of faith"! But yes faith does work by us comming in agreement with what God says in the scriptures. And us putting those things out through our speech. But it's not faith in faith it's faith in Jesus Christ! And guess what? Joseph prince teaches that what I just said! He even says it's not faith in faith! He says it's not even our faith! He says it's the lords faith in us! And that's 100% scriptural! My point is this don't throw the baby out with the bathwater just because Justin peters lumps all word of faith preachers into one group! Yes there are many who do teach error! But not all of them! Joseph prince does not teach error! Read the scriptures and critique the things that pastors say "even Justin peters"! God bless you!
@@partoftheway4235 Joseph Prince absolutely DOES teach error!... and GOD does as HE PLEASES...HE doesn't need us..... Word/ Faith theology is heretical and seeks to demote GOD and promote man!
@@MinLeeMajors Please take something that Joseph prince says and teaches and the scriptures he uses and you break it down into the scriptures and demonstrate to me where he is in error according to the scriptures. Thanks!
@@jennyvthomas4913 Because God took away our real sickness: our sins. You can't compare earthly parents/children natural love to the love God has for us. Think how small and insignificant natural illnesses are compared to the destroying effefts of sin.

HI Michele. Jesus foretold about this exact thing in Matthew 10:35 and Luke 12:53. Find peace in the fact that the Word is seen to be true in your life. We must never stop praying and ministering to our family. My parents and siblings believe they are saved as well but are stuck in the Charismatic Movement and are deceived by those teachings. But God is faithful and I trust that He’s Word will do what it was sent to do (Isaiah 55:10-11)
I made it out of the Charismatic movement. I was all-in, for many, many years. My dad was a devout Atheist, or Agnostic, very stubborn, and hard-nosed, tough, cowboy-type, but came to Christ, and couldn't stop witnessing, and telling others about it. The type that anyone would have said, he's a lost case... he'll never get saved. My point is that God is still in the miracle business, and the prayers for your sister are heard, loud and clear in the Heavenlies...
Justin Peters, when God was giving out courage, you must have gone around twice! Thank you so much for doing what you do for those who are lost or on the wrong path.
@@loveisneverasin9092 I have no idea why you brought the physical aspect into what I commented. You may have misunderstood the intent of my words. @@JustinPetersMin Justin, I am not a big fan of Andrew Womack . However, when you visited Charis Bible College, instead of asking “Mike” , who knew nothing about scriptures, why didn’t you ask Andrew Womack himself? Were you not on his campus?
@@jayjay-bz3rr It is one of the first things I thought of when he said he approached a stranger who was not even yet enrolled in the bible college. It would be like if I went to someone who was considering attending your church because they had heard good things about it, then I try to dissuade them from doing so (because of what I believe about that church, its doctrines, its works, etc.). Sounds pretty sneaky to me. But if all you can get is low hanging fruit, I guess that is what you do. Let's see a video where you encounter, oh, I don't know, perhaps one of the instructors in the bible college? A graduate of the school at work in the ministry with some years under their belt?
Wow congratulations Mark. Can you share what the two main themes of the Bible are? Since you have this degree from Charis it would be nice to learn what the two main themes are. In other words what does the Bible tell us that is important? I look forward to hearing back. All the best to you.
Hey, I've known a little Andrew Wommack teaching from way back, so I'm following this IDK "controversy" with much interest. I was schooled in Pentecost-word of Faith myself, and I've read a fair bit of Reformed teaching, so I can see this from both sides. I'm VERY interested to know about your experience. Any thing you can tell me. How much time, how much does it cost. Who are the teachers. Is it non-degree. Financial aid. What's Andrew like in person? Why is he controversial at all? What's your opinion? He seems super nice. Whatever you feel comfortable letting me/us know.

Justin, i just want to thank you. Thank you for your faithful stewarding of God's word and the sharing of it to others. I have learned so much from you. The Lord, only by His grace and mercy, opened my eyes to the deceit of these false doctrines a little over a year ago. The way God has used your ministry, the ministry of pastor MacArthur, Phil Johnson, as well as others, is just amazing. I'm often brought to tears when i think of the ways all of you have blessed me through the true teaching of scripture. I give all glory to Jesus but He used Andrew to get that truth to me the way I needed to understand it and ive been free ever since! I absolutely support him and Charis and Ive been a christian and minister of over 20 years, I have discernment and the Holy Spirit.
I went through Charis bible college and I must say that Andrew wommack lives the grace of God.I could answer some of your questions but you already have a predisposition. You may not believe in healing like we do but that doesn't mean that Andrew is a false teacher.I am sure there are things we believe differently and they don't affect our salvation. Many people have been fighting Andrew but in the end, they humble themselves.God has not called us to a ministry of criticism. If Andrew is a false teacher, keep preaching what you know, run your race and at the end of it,we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.Spending time criticising fellow preachers is a ploy of the enemy.
Hi Justin. Listening to this, it makes me realize that I once was where "Mike" is now. And about 2 years ago, the peels fell of my eyes. I think there is a different way to reach people deceived by false teachers. In 2008 my adult daughter and only child got cancer. I began searching for God, praying she would be healed and live. She died in 2009. During my search, I found Wommack and not having a solid biblical background I was easily drawn in to his teaching. People tried to talk to me, but in the same way a cult operates, Wommack had addressed all of the counter arguments and therefore armed his followers. I had listened to EVERY SINGLE TEACHING he had online. I viewed the counter arguments as "they" were deceived and did not understand. I was not trying to ignore them nor did I not know the counter arguments taught by Wommack. But I completely believed "his teachings" were correct, and opponents were wrong, or didn't understand "truth." By the grace of God, he eventually lead me out of that. The power of the Holy Spirit worked in my heart and I began to be able to "see" what I could not before see, and began asking myself why the Bible says different things than what Wommack taught. It's quite difficult to untangle deception and begin seeing things in a completely different way than first believed. I've listened to your Clouds without Water, and that was helpful. I wish pastors better equipped us to know what to expect opponents to say and give simple, clear responses that we can say. in response. But, being a woman and not educated in scripture, and not a pastor (nor do I want to be, nor should I be) I continue to search for simplistic teaching that helps us be better armed when facing these Word of Faith believers. I've tried discussing with my sister for example, but can't seem to do well. I just pray that the Lord will work in the hearts of others the way he did me, until I learn how all this works... thanks Mr. Peters

Yes my son was raised twice . I was healed of miscarriages and I almost died twice in child birth but God delivered us , my children are emotionally being healed every day , my mom was healed from a Lund disease , I was healed from adhd , my son was healed from toxic metals , my marriage is healed . My husband was delivered from the enemy . I was healed from a digestive issue I had for 14 years . Some were instant some took time but all encded in healing and wonderful testimonies of Gods glory and power :) listening to the Holy Spirit is huge in the healing process
God Bless. I'm saved, Spirit filled, and have been healed. Jesus is the same today, yesterday & tomorrow. When you cast stones at ministries I don't think you're serving His will. Again, I hope you find the truth, keep seeking for He will reveal it to you!
It's our duty to call out false doctrines and false teachers. If you're not casting stones at abhorrent ministries, then you're not being a faithful servant of Christ per 1 Timothy.
That's the whole point. These 'ministries' are masquerading as truth. They are not biblical, not godly, and are leading countless scores of well-meaning people away from Christ.
As always thanks for sharing dear brother- I’m amazed by your courage and boldness to go to these false teachers and their ministries- the photo of “Mike” was hauntingly sad as he stares out the window- I pray for mercy for that young man.
Mark 16:17-18 New King James Version 17 And these signs will follow those who [a]believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[b] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.
Me too brother. I am from Scotland and have listened to Andrew for 20 off years. He is a wonderfully anointed bible teacher; humble and as I say, anointed. Why is there so much demonic opposition against men like Andrew who 'do' glorify the Lord Jesus? Blessings!
Yes, Lord, we pray for all the precious Mikes out there, that the blinders the god of this world has put on their minds would be removed, and the light of your glorious gospel will shine to them. These young ones will be leading the church into the last of days, so they need to be steeped in your truth, in sound doctrine to refute the many false teachers our Lord said would come @ this time. You are the Healer, and pray you will do the great healing work of salvation in this (possibly last) generation. Amen.
I still know so many that are in that movement and the NAR, even family members. I've tried over the years to share with them the deception of it all but they just don't want to hear. They just shut down the conversation. It's so sad, but like me it's only the Lord that opens my eyes. I'm so thankful He did it for me, I just want it so desperately for them to be out of deception as well.
Oh the cognitive dissonance he must've experienced. A lot of us have accepted those presenting as themselves and some perspective as being "Christian" without testing the theology to scripture. Holy Father please bless us with discernment. Thanks Justin.
Christian means to be Christ-like: living and doing exactly as Jesus the Christ. No fancy home, no fancy clothes, vehicle, owning absolutely nothing, depending upon others for your survival, and dedicating one's entire life to others. In summary: there are NO TRUE CHRISTIANS amongst us, ONLY false prophets/charlatans. Fact.

Many years ago late 1990’s, I came across Andrew Womack, I live in a small village in Somerset England, we have a small chapel in our village, they welcomed Andrew into our church with his Charis Bible college, my daughter actually took the course there, after a few months they pulled out from our church and left everyone to pick up the college and try and run it on their own, I was very unhappy how we were treated by Charis, after hearing your words I realise that we really had a very lucky escape and the true word is now being preached. Many thanks for the work you are doing to help us all see the false prophets among us.

@@scottmcclain5493 well my friend I appreciate your reply but, I sit here at age 41 with 4 young children and I have stage 4 cancer that I have been fighting for the last 3 years. God does not put sickness upon us but he allows it. This is what I have been trying to teach my children. Because yes the devil does give us every evilness in the world and God could take it all away. Yes your right he could but think of it this way. If we were rescued every time we stubbed our toe how or why would we need Jesus? At our lowest Jesus is strongest in us. I have always been a shy Christian. Since I’ve had cancer I can’t tell you the number of people the Lord has been able to bless through my trials. Yes it stinks and yes my kids will not have me as adults but I have seen so much growth in their lives and especially my husbands life that only comes from God. When I say loving words it is true, the reason is if we as believers allow people to live a lie then that’s a sin on our part. We are called to bring people to Christ. That young man was believing in a lie that would send him to hell. So it is Loving to share the true Gospel with him. So I am thankful for Justin Peters he speaks truth and sometimes the truth hurts. Hebrews 9:1 So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come.
Jesus or positive confession/ law of attraction. Amen when Jesus healed they were healed and the healing was real, it lasted. Notice Kenneth Copeland says you will receive your healing, the WoF people hope goes way up, And then he says If you will receive your healing And everybody's hope sags right back down because, they wonder how do you receive your healing? Note their eyes are once again on themselves, They teach you to focus on self instead of Jesus and His mercy and grace. And God know's they have listened to hours and hours of healing tapes, chanted, prayed in tongues, Bought and read countless books from " high profile false prophets" Done tons of positive confessions, Made declarations of being healed, Made declarations of their faith, Paid their tithes and thousands extra in seed offerings to prosperity preachers, WoF preachers, New Apostolic churches, to bethel and other wealthy, motivational, famous, arrogant, new age speakers/hypnotists. As they are taught they never admit being disabled, blind, diseased, Deaf, injured or sick to anybody; Oh whoops except accidentally to that doctor last month, Darn; Maybe that's why the force isn't with them? They wonder Maybe that's why all the works didn't manipulate God, because they admitted they wasn't well????? (Question) You mean you don't admit your not well? Why? (Answer) No because that's not walking in faith. (You) Well when we look at you we see reality so not admitting isn't truthful right? (Them) Shut up, are demon possessed. (You) God is not impressed with law of attraction, positive confession, or Word of faith Declarations, chants or mantras, especially when they don't acknowledge reality. Furthermore putting your trust in yourself or any other man instead of Jesus is a curse. Bible says Cursed is the man who puts his trust in the arm of the flesh. None of those antics and mantras is actually trusting Jesus with your life, forgiveness or eternity. (You) Do you admit you are a sinner, confess your sins and ask for forgiveness and believe in Jesus death on the cross for your sins and Do you believe He rose again victorious on the third day? Have you repented and surrendered to Jesus? (Them) It's not positive to think about sins. Thinking about sins is negativity. You shouldn't talk like that and trying to bring me down? Besides I'm a Christian. Don't judge. Hater. Anyways I've read the bible over and over again? Do you think I haven't read the bible? Hater. (You) You know the bible says we must believe, be born again, changed, led by the Spirit? (Them) We have a righteousness by faith you know and that's why I constantly chant that I'm the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. (You) Yes we are saved by grace through faith but when we truly believe and are saved we are born again, changed and we bear the fruit of the Spirit and are obedient, we know longer love the world nor the things that are in the world. We love others instead of self and we obey Jesus. We bear the fruit of the Spirit. (Them) Look God wants us happy, rich, successful and healthy. That's the good news. He wants us to have lots and lots of money, cars, jets, houses, pools, nice expenses watches and jewelry!! Those are good things and He put a desire for good things in us. He put those desires in us for those riches. Nice things, pretty things that he made like gold and diamonds. He made them and wants us to have them. If you tithe enough seed money and offerings to their ministry as a show of faith, god will reward you. And the good news is you don't have to be poor or disabled or sick. You don't have to have one leg shorter than the other anymore, and you don't have to have back aches or headaches anymore so long as you tithe and chant and declare enough. If your not rich and healthy it's because your sinning. (You) You know they aren't Christians right? God wants us born again and changed. They are deceivers and they preach ear tickling lies instead of the bible and they take a verse here or there and twist it out of context. They step over and around the homeless and brokenhearted, the lonely, the needy and the weak and they call them God haters and faithless for an excuse to neglect them or treat them with disdain or contempt, while they themselves live deliciously. (Them) Shut up you are blasphemers you will never have forgiveness. Touch not God's anointed. (You) Do you think Todd Bentley was led by the Spirit or fulfilling the deeds of the flesh? Did he preach hooked on a feeling? Or Money and Self? Or repentance, holy living, obedience, Mercy, forgiveness, gentleness And taking care of the needy? (Them) Don't touch God's anointed. God is love. Don't judge. Pharasee. (You) If they are led by the Spirit they will have the fruit of the Spirit, right? And they testify of Jesus and repentance right? That is what the Holy Spirit does right? Instead of good feelings and tongues? Get on your knees and confess sins and repent And ask Jesus to forgive you. The bible says confess your sins. (Them) Self righteous pharasee, hater.
This was encouraging. I know people who follow false teaching and when I challenge them (biblically), I either get silence or very defensive responses. To be honest, it's actually heartbreaking.

I have prayed for hundreds of people over the years, seeing a handful of physical healings, but a great many emotional healings. We were taught that it's our place to pray for people but it's not up to us to decide the outcome. That's God's responsibility. For the record, there's nothing that says that someone slain in the Spirit must fall backwards. The reason there are catchers is to keep people from being accidentally harmed in part, but as much as anything, it's an expression of faith ; an expectation that God will show up.

Mr. Womack is indeed a word of faith preacher. But he also preaches Jesus Christ, and Him crucified, for the remission of sins. If he indeed believes what he preaches about Christ, will he then go to Hell because he teaches that all people can be healed in Jesus name?
Andrew Wommack is an idol to his followers and your story confirms it, Justin. They love the false Word of Faith “gospel” and reject the Word of God. Period. When Wommack followers comment on my channel they make the same kind of irrational, unbiblical, and brain-dead comments. How can a true Christian willingly and deliberately ignore the very Word of God? Andrew Wommack is the worst. Mark and avoid!
Indeed, Steven. He comes across as down-home, folksy, and an "aw-shucks" kind of persona, but he is very arrogant and has some of the worst theology of any of them. Blessings to you brother!
Justin, thank you. I have had the same experience over and over. Steven,……..my wife has been “binge” watching your “hit the bar” episodes and they bless her very much. She was raised more in this type of theology. You both are a blessing to me as I have watched you for several years. I was literally kicked out of church….that I was an elder of which was non-denominational …..originally “Community Bible Church”, now Life Church. It had a season of going more biblical while I attended as a younger adult, but had mudded waters with doctrines. They hid it well being many were shallow in knowledge. The youth pastor who became senior pastor attended Rhema which initially didn’t really mean anything to me because that was before my time and I was not even aware of “word of faith” growing up. I grew up more reformed/evangelical free, parents very godly, and faithful students of the Word! (Top of the list of most Godly people I know!). As I continued to elevate sound doctrine over traditions and experiences, I was told by the rest of the elders “we will not talk about doctrine.” The praise report of this is that although I had seen this coming for a few years before it was over, I have had the opportunity to share the Gospel with most in the church and see some have a great hunger and astounding maturity as they truly fear God and love His Word. I realize this is lengthy, but when I saw a comment with both of you on it, I did want to say Hi……and thank you. You are making an important impact for the Kingdom of God!

@Mike Rutkowski what a wonderful response. So why do you hate Justin so much? His testimony? His faith? His truth and ministry? All the many things Justin has done for the Kingdom?
@Mike Rutkowski well said. We need more people like you to stand up for the word of God. It makes a lot of sense when you use the scriptures to explain things instead of experiences.
I very nearly attended Charis in the UK. I had a place to go and it was all set up. Thankfully I have Godly parents and friends who counselled me against it and I listened. Thank you Justin for all you do. Keep going!
Thank you Pastor Peters, I’m truly grateful for what you do. Thank you for sharing that experience. The places you go, to win back the souls of those who have been deceived, amazes me. I thank you for your passion, your courage, your heart that is after the love of God, and your faith, rooted in the true Gospel, of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Justin, I went to Jeff's Church for many years until I moved to Arizona. I wanted so bad to drive up when you spoke at Highland Bible Church. A WONDERFUL Christian family and church! Maybe some day you would come to speak at San Tan Bible Church down here in Gilbert Arizona. God Bless you, you have taught me so many things through your videos!
I can understand Mike's reaction. I have completed the first year of Charis and recently came across a video of false teachers which included Andrew and was shocked. I have been watching other videos regarding him and the word of faith/prosperity gospel movement. Andrew has mentioned on his program that he is friends with Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Creflo Dollar and others featured in these videos and I am questioning his judgment and my returning for the 2nd year. Thank you for your honest critique of him and his ministry. God Bless!
What was Mike's reaction? He had not even been enrolled in Charis. You have completed the first year, what is YOUR reaction? You are not reacting to this "minister" approaching a random stranger who may or may not even know what he believes. You've got more foundation in either the Bible or Andrew Wommack's teaching than Mike, what do you say? I say, it is more than a little suspect that the gentleman who put out this video, picked an isolated novice at the subject to "have a heart to heart discussion" with, rather than, say, a graduate of the institution with some years in ministry under his or her belt, or perhaps a teacher at the Bible College, or Andrew Wommack himself. All I see you doing is being shocked that Mr. Wommack is a target of some anti- people. Really? So you never found any disagreement with Charis' teaching and the Word of God that you read for yourself, but if someone puts themselves up as a judge of another man's servant, now all of a sudden you believe them and question your own course? I won't play their game and tell you, "Stop listening to the Anti-Wommacks out there," because I do not deserve your decisions being based on my word.
Is your going back within God's moral will and is it wise? I suspect that if you spend a bit of time reading up on the Word Faith movement you will find that to go back would not be wise.

@@caroleimani9754 Agreed. Big, ol' bible preacher picking on a young'un. I'm not sure many people are aware of this, but the first year students in Charis Bible College are expected to commit to reading through the Bible their first year. I have heard it explained that too many graduates of bible colleges, even our seminaries, never even had to read through the Bible at all. Maybe Mike came out of a church pastored by one of those seminarians. Maybe Mr. Peters should be looking to seminaries and pastors, instead of young sheep. I mean, I guess he makes himself a judge, he should be in the ring with people of his weight division, right? Frankly, I have as much issue with Mr. Peters trying to force an entire theology off of two verses, possibly (in my opinion) taken out of context, than with one person unable to deal with that type of presentation in real time, out of the clear blue. A very poor example to show "just what word-faith people are like."
I may have said before but when I was caught up in all this rubbish I despised and hated people like you and Chris Roseborough, and Steve Kozar, etc. It is thanks to the constant rumblings of doubt and biblical inconsistentcies in my inner man by the Holy Spirit that I eventually saw the light, as they say, repented, and got back on the narrow road. I have learned we have what I call OVER READERS meaning they read OVER THE word or a passages without understanding the scriptures. Then we have FOLLOW READERS meaning when the pastor reads the word they just FOLLOW ALONG and put their bibles up until next Sunday. We are held accountable of reading, researching and rightly dividing the word of God. I don't care who pastors or who teaches or what position they hold but I can agree or disagree if it's not lining up with the truth of the Gospel. We should take it to heart the Scriptures telling us to "study to show thyself approved" and "work out your own soul salvation". The more I studied the bible I have fell in love with HIs truth. Keep up the great work brother Justin. May God keep using you as He always has been.

AW was the staple diet I was fed after becoming a Christian. I finally figured out -by God's grace! - that it doesn't match with scripture. While I believe God can and does heal, it has been liberating to bet freed from this false theology. And since then, being able to see how God can use suffering for growing us has been a real blessing. In March, I suddenly became obviously unwell. Without me realising, God had prepared me for this by opening my eyes to the truth and then giving me eyes to see in the scriptures how suffering wasn't something to always battle with (yes, of course we can pray for it to be removed!) but an opportunity to trust God and praise Him regardless of our current circumstances because He is worthy! And, because His promise of eternal life for those of us who repent, believe and follow Him is worth every scrap of suffering and more, we just can't fathom it yet. I know I certainly can't. May God continue to bless your ministry Justin!
Why would people want to fight people who believe God desires to heal and deliver? We all walk our own salvation out with fear and trembling. If you believe God's will is not healing for all then walk that out in your salvation. But dont criticize and attack others who believe that Christ has purchased healing for all. Christ paid a mighty price for healing to be available to the body of Christ. Why fight people along these lines? Paul said if people are preaching Christ, even for various different reasons, he rejoices that Christ is being preached.
He's "fighting" them because they aren't even Christians. Notice how Mike denies those words even come from the Bible. “If you love me, you will keep my commandments." John 14:15

@@truthseeker6410 no I don't think it's presumptuous. But it is presumptuous to assume that someone who is about to attend bible college yet isn't even willing to admit what the Bible clearly says is actually a Christian. It's presumptuous to give every professing believer a free pass, not even engage with them about God's precious word, and fail to show them their error when they show you their open hostility toward God. It's presumptuous to give known false teachers who contradict God's word a wink and a nod as if they just get to work out their own "journey". It's presumptuous to fail to be faithful to God's command to call out false teachers for their own salvation and the protection of the flock. What you so proudly call "fighting" is the most loving thing we can do. It's what true Christianity looks like. "For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete." 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ESV
@@anduinsuchan356 it's very presumptuous. You are judging a man's salvation based on a 5 sec edited clip from a Justin Peter's video whom you have never even had a conversation with yourself? Not only is it presumptuous, also very prideful. If you go around critiquing, judging, criticizing every thing and everyone you dont fully agree with and you will find yourself in a deep religious pit void of God's love and power for yourself and others. Be merciful, kind, and loving towards others and God's truth and power will work in you and through you to others . A critical (know it all) spirit will always quench the Holy Spirit. The critical spirit always guises itself as having a love for the truth or fighting for the faith. However, it's rooted in jealousy, envy, bitterness, unforgivness, and ultimately hardness of heart. Lets walk are own salvation out with fear and trembling and get the beam out of our own eye before we try to take the splinter out of our brothers eye.

Part of loving others is telling them the truth. Especially when they refuse to accept the truth behind closed doors.
I believe that Jesus took 39 leashes and we are healed in the name of Jesus
Wow! That's incredible that Jesus wore 39 leashes! Dogs, for one, would never tolerate that many leashes! However, one may indeed question why anyone would want or need to be restrained by that many leashes!!

@The Church of Repentance why are you down playing God’s miracle working power? Your ilk is on the other side of the spectrum. Someone could sayGod is a healer which is biblical and your defenses get up. Do you not see a problem with that?
God is the same as he was 2000 years ago, he still heals today
@@kentuckylifeatitsbest8947 But He is not under obligation to heal. He didn't heal Paul from his thorn in the flesh, even when Paul prayed and asked him to heal on three specific occasions. The reason he did not heal him is that God had a greater objective than physical healing, which was that Paul would see that God's grace is enough even when we are not healed. The word/faith doctrine is inaccurate, otherwise no one who is staunch believer in it would ever die. But each of them will die of one cause or another, because God says, "it is appointed unto man once to die."
@@rickbarnes7745 you do not even know what the thorn in the flesh was .. it was not sickness as most people think it was it is a lie People read scriptures from the Bible and make their own asumption about what it saids and get all twisted up and go tell people it saids this and it never said that in the first place and this why people hate churches and get mad at God in Heaven and say there is no God and he does not care and all it was they believe a lie and i guess you think God in Heaven said The lord giveth and the Lord taketh away Job said this not God Of Heaven........In 2 Corinthians 12 Verse 7 says it came lest Paul should be exalted above measure.

God bless you, Justin. Good for you for putting the truth before this young man. I pray the wool will be removed from over his eyes.
Healed miraculously or not, in death or good health through out my life, I will serve the lord. Salvation belongs to our God.
@Mike Rutkowski God bless you Mike. I have to agree that one of us is very delusional. Have a great day. bro. John
@Mike Rutkowski you need to take a course in hermeneutics and quit taking scriptures out of context. I will pray for your eyes to be open to truth.
The thorn was people.

@Mike Rutkowski You never sin? Self deception is definitely a sin. Death is a disease.
Blessings.

Hi Jenny,
Would you believe I spent an hour on a response to your comment, and I accidentally deleted it?
Ok, well here’s the 2nd attempt (this may have several parts)
I’m going to try to address everything you stated, so I’ll blockquote sections, with my response.
You: [Jesus said that everything He did was the Father’s will and work.]
Me: [Correct.]
You: [Name one person JESUS put sickness on… HE ONLY HEALED!]
Me:
Jesus is God incarnate.
[No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.] John 1:18 ESV
This is saying that not one person ever saw “God” in the Old Testament; yet God appeared to many in the OT. But rather than being a contradiction, it means that no one has seen “God the Father.” How do we know this? Because of how “God” is used throughout the New Testament to refer to the Father; particularly in John 1:1-2, where the Word (Jesus) is said to have been with God (The Father) “in the beginning.”
So then if no one ever saw God the Father in the OT, who did they see?
John 8:58 gives us a clue.
[Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” So they picked up stones to throw at him, but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.] John 8:58-59 ESV
The reason they are attempting to stone Jesus here is because they did not recognize him as God; so what he said to them: “before Abraham was, I AM,” was blasphemy; specifically because Jesus was claiming God’s name from Isaiah 41, 43, 45, 51, and Exodus 3. So Jesus in effect identified himself as the divine person who not only visited Abraham, but also Moses, as well as Isaiah, and if we extrapolate; since Jesus is the Angel of the Lord who visited Moses, he’s also the Angel of the Lord who visited many others.
But there’s more:
A very early manuscript of the book of Jude contains a variant; which many scholars have acknowledged as likely the original rendering. The ESV translates it with the older variant this way:
[Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.] Jude 1:5 ESV
So this passage is suggesting that Jesus himself led the Israelites out of Egypt in Exodus, and even destroyed “those who did not believe.”
And as you have rightly pointed out, Jesus does whatever the Father does, so when he says in John 10 “I and the Father are One,” He’s identifying himself further as having been present with the Father from eternity.
And of course there are many other passages that affirm Jesus as the God who spoke in the OT: “I am Aloha and Omega, the First and the Last,” “at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess Jesus Christ as Lord (Adonai) to the glory of God the Father.”
Both of these statements were spoken by the God of the Old Testament.
So what’s the point?
If Jesus acted with the Father in both the Old and New Testaments, then Jesus most certainly did cause disease. God is sovereign, and nothing that happens in the entire universe happens outside of God’s will.
Here are several passages, which expressly state that God causes disease:
[If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, your healer.”] Exodus 15:26 ESV
[And the LORD will take away from you all sickness, and none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you knew, will he inflict on you, but he will lay them on all who hate you.] Deuteronomy 7:15 ESV
He put diseases on the Egyptians, but He also is a healer; because He’s sovereign.
Jenny,
Part 2
Other passages that show that God causes diseases:
[And the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Take handfuls of soot from the kiln, and let Moses throw them in the air in the sight of Pharaoh. It shall become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and become boils breaking out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt.” So they took soot from the kiln and stood before Pharaoh. And Moses threw it in the air, and it became boils breaking out in sores on man and beast.] Exodus 9:8-9 ESV
Of course this is related to the 2 previous quotes from Exodus and Deuteronomy.
I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck down before your enemies.] Leviticus 26:14-16 ESV
[The LORD will strike you with wasting disease and with fever, inflammation and fiery heat, and with drought and with blight and with mildew. They shall pursue you until you perish. And the heavens over your head shall be bronze, and the earth under you shall be iron. The LORD will make the rain of your land powder. From heaven dust shall come down on you until you are destroyed.] Deuteronomy 28:22-24 ESV
[O LORD, rebuke me not in your anger,
nor discipline me in your wrath!
For your arrows have sunk into me,
and your hand has come down on me.
There is no soundness in my flesh
because of your indignation;
there is no health in my bones
because of my sin.] Psalm 38:1-3 ESV
[Why will you still be struck down?
Why will you continue to rebel?
The whole head is sick,
and the whole heart faint.
From the sole of the foot even to the head,
there is no soundness in it,
but bruises and sores
and raw wounds;
they are not pressed out or bound up
or softened with oil.] Isaiah 1:5-6 ESV
[Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. He was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles' feathers, and his nails were like birds' claws.
Nebuchadnezzar Restored
At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever,
for his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
and his kingdom endures from generation to generation;
all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and he does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
and none can stay his hand
or say to him, “What have you done?”] Daniel 4:33-35 ESV
An interesting thing to note about Nebuchadnezzar is that the Lord afflicted him because he failed to acknowledge the Lord’s sovereignty. I think he learned his lesson judging by his final praise:
“all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and he does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
and none can stay his hand
or say to him, “What have you done?”
And then we come to Job; a man of tremendous faith, and one who was considered righteous:
First in His sovereignty God allowed Satan to destroy Job’s livelihood, wealth, and his sons and daughters, and Job’s response was:
[Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell on the ground and worshiped. And he said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”
In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrong.] Job 1:20-22 ESV
Notice that Job recognizes that his loss is not from Satan, but from the Lord.
But in Chapter 2 of Job, God allows Satan to afflict him with disease:
[So Satan went out from the presence of the LORD and struck Job with loathsome sores from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. And he took a piece of broken pottery with which to scrape himself while he sat in the ashes.
Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die.” But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women would speak. Shall we receive good from God, and shall we not receive evil?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.] Job 2:7-10 ESV
Notice that Job again recognizes that the evil that has come to him was from the Lord. This is not to say that God has evil in mind, because in His sovereignty:
[And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.] Romans 8:28 ESV
He takes what is evil, and brings about good. We suffer from disease because of our sin and rebellion. It’s God’s judgment. He doesn’t do it maliciously, but to demonstrate His goodness in actually judging evil.
We see this also in the OT:
[As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.] Genesis 50:20 ESV
So God both causes, and allows disease for His sovereign purpose; just like he allowed His very own Son to be maliciously tortured and killed for our benefit; to save us from the spiritual death we would otherwise suffer as a result of our sin.
And not every righteous person in the New Testament was healed.
I’ll get into that in my next response.
@@jennyvthomas4913
Jenny:
Part 3
You: [Andrew Womack is the genuine article. I noticed you didn’t mention that Andrew offers ALL of his teachings free to everyone, just cause he has a bookstore doesn’t make him evil.]
Me: I think I will address Andrew Womack at the end
You: [Also, Abraham was rich, so was Job, David, Solomon etc. Beung rich and having nice things isn’t a sin, it’s the love of money that’s the root of all evil.]
There are rich people and poor people in Scripture; so I don’t understand the point.
You: [God needs people with money (that love giving) to do His business… ]
Me: Now this is a demonstrably false statement. God does not need any of us. God chooses us out of His own good will, and He can accomplish His will with or without anybody’s money. The reason why anybody is rich is because God in His sovereignty has made them so for His own purposes. Again, there’s a mountain of evidence for this in Scripture.
You: [even Jesus had to manage money in His ministry so He can provide for His children.]
Me: This is true.
You: [Additionally, satan wrote several versions of the Bible.]
Me: Another demonstrably false statement.
He was all beaten up!]
Me: I’m not understanding what you’re trying to say here.
You: [Jesus delivers us from sickness but persecution is a totally different story…]
I don’t think you quite understand that Jesus does not “deliver us from sickness.” That is a false teaching.
And so I want to point out from the New Testament, a few Christians who got sick, and some who died from their sickness:
[I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus my brother and fellow worker and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need, for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill. Indeed he was ill, near to death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.] Philippians 2:25-27 ESV
[You know it was because of a bodily ailment that I preached the gospel to you at first, and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.] Galatians 4:13-14 ESV
So Paul got sick.
[Now there was in Joppa a disciple named Tabitha, which, translated, means Dorcas. She was full of good works and acts of charity. In those days she became ill and died, and when they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.] Acts 9:36-37 ESV
Now the Holy Spirit would not have needed to raise Tabitha from the dead through Peter, if she hadn’t in fact gotten sick and died.
Why would a man of God want to haunt this young man! Would rather go with Andrew any day!!
I pray for him as often as I can. Thank you Justin for your ministry God bless you🙏✝️

However, this is a testimony on it's own, and it has shifted my walk as a Christian, to delve more into this before I focus on anything else.
I'm so glad to see Justin Peters as well as the comments, to know I'm not the only one.
Thanks for sharing your experience too.
God bless! 🙏🕊️
The Answered Prayer
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you [c]ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Andrew Wommack is such an awesome solid teacher. I have grown so much in the Lord and seen a lot of transformation in my life and my family ever since I started listening to Andrew Wommack. His ministry is full of life.
I agree. I also have grown so much in the Lord thru Andrew Wommack's ministry.
Amen. I love Andrew Wommack's teaching. He has helped me understand spiritual authority.

Andrew Wommack is clearly a false teacher and in it for the money
Around 2007 I’m at Charis bible college. I run across some videos from Justin. I got so mad I go online, find the number on Justin’s website. He answered! For the next however long I argued (So arrogantly) with Justin. He patiently talked with me. Although nothing changed that day, I eventually came out of the charismatic church, started seminary, and ended up on staff a really theologically sound church.
Praise the Lord, Garrett!!
@@JustinPetersMin Please rebuke

You posed this question.

Hi Mike - tell me why I have had cerebral palsy since birth and why I still have it.
He shows loathing and contempt to anyone that doesnt agree with his insane doctrine......which is absolutely not, "loving your enemies and praying for those who persecute you."
There are gullible people in that comment section that see you have not responded and will take that as "him being right."
Teaching we "become perfect" is a doctrine straight from hell.
Shalom.
Praise God thankyou JP
Speaking of integrity, this brings me to MacArthur:
No, God did not bless MacArthur, MacArthur blessed himself, thereby breaking God's command.
Can you give us a quick summary of your Charis experience? What was good, if anything and what was bad?

I made it out of the Charismatic movement. I was all-in, for many, many years. The type that anyone would have said, he's a lost case... he'll never get saved.
My point is that God is still in the miracle business, and the prayers for your sister are heard, loud and clear in the Heavenlies...

I graduated from Charis in 2019, brilliant bible teaching, gave me a love for Jesus and a wonderful knowledge of the Word.

I just pray that the Lord will work in the hearts of others the way he did me, until I learn how all this works... thanks Mr. Peters

Done tons of positive confessions,
Made declarations of being healed,
Made declarations of their faith,
Paid their tithes and thousands extra in seed offerings to prosperity preachers, WoF preachers, New Apostolic churches, to bethel and other wealthy, motivational, famous, arrogant, new age speakers/hypnotists.

They wonder
Maybe that's why all the works didn't manipulate God, because they admitted they wasn't well?????

(Answer) No because that's not walking in faith.
(You) Well when we look at you we see reality so not admitting isn't truthful right?

(You) God is not impressed with law of attraction, positive confession, or Word of faith Declarations, chants or mantras, especially when they don't acknowledge reality. Furthermore putting your trust in yourself or any other man instead of Jesus is a curse.
Bible says
Cursed is the man who puts his trust in the arm of the flesh.
None of those antics and mantras is actually trusting Jesus with your life, forgiveness or eternity.
(You) Do you admit you are a sinner, confess your sins and ask for forgiveness and believe in Jesus death on the cross for your sins
and
Do you believe He rose again victorious on the third day? Have you repented and surrendered to Jesus?

Or repentance, holy living, obedience,
Mercy, forgiveness, gentleness
And taking care of the needy?
(Them) Don't touch God's anointed. God is love.
Don't judge. Pharasee.
(You) If they are led by the Spirit they will have the fruit of the Spirit, right?

I have prayed for hundreds of people over the years, seeing a handful of physical healings, but a great many emotional healings. We were taught that it's our place to pray for people but it's not up to us to decide the outcome. That's God's responsibility. For the record, there's nothing that says that someone slain in the Spirit must fall backwards. The reason there are catchers is to keep people from being accidentally harmed in part, but as much as anything, it's an expression of faith ; an expectation that God will show up.
Andrew talks a lot about money and that reveals whats in a man’s heart. Love you Justin Peters.
Andrew gives away almost all of his books and materials. Almost all of his conferences are free to attend. Andrew’s heart is to give and bless others. I use to make fun of him but then I actually started listening and his teachings have truly blessed me.

My cousin lives in San Tan Valley.
Ask the Lord if you are to continue or not rather than going with someone's review?
Is your going back within God's moral will and is it wise? I suspect that if you spend a bit of time reading up on the Word Faith movement you will find that to go back would not be wise.
Very interesting story/experience, and a perfect example of the wilfull blindness, no matter what contradictory, scriptural evidence can be presented.
Thank you Justin. Greetings from the UK. As always, very helpful. Let us know if you ever come to the UK...

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete."
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 ESV
