Thank you for sharing your biblical wealth of knowledge and for exposeing the prosperity preachers who usually do not ever speak of the scriptures. I became born again on 5/23/20 and I feel I still have so much to learn but I am learning albeit slowly and I feel calm and feel His love. I was for years a follower of the likes of Joel Olsteen and others as well as new age beliefs. I stopped doing so because I'm committed to Jesus only and believe that with discernment and continuing to learn all the scriptures I will have accomplished a lot for my salvation and for my son's eternal life in heaven too as I sharing all I learn. I so appreciate this, because my doctor's nurse is a disciple of Joel Osteen, ludicrously, and it shows, and I'm confident she has no conception of my physical suffering from multiple sclerosis. I anticipate asking her the next time I see her what Joel Osteen has to say about suffering and afflictions such as multiple aclerosis.

I think I had the gift of discernment my whole life, but the world kept me from understanding the presuppositions that were baked into both sides of arguments which emerged in the 19th century that kept me away from seeing the evident nature of God's creation. I was very quickly drawn to you, Mike Winger, and Corey Minor when I prayed for wisdom. I think you guys are in a different paradigm, because of the whole evolution thing which I think mostly comes from Americans culture, but you lead me to an understanding of the Bible fully. One thing I have very quickly noticed is that on the face of people things can be quite obvious. When you speak, when Mr Winger or Mr Minor speak, it is clearly authentic. It is you there, speaking, giving people the information you have as best as you can possibly present it, with sharp minds. The false preachers, and the people pushing secret knowledge doctrines, there is always a mask. They are like a character from the TV. There isn't authenticity, it's like looking at something wearing a skinsuit to appear human. The demonic activity on earth I think is usually like that. If it clicks and you can see it, there are authentic Christians, there are lost people wading through darkness, and then there are creatures wearing the masks of humans.
JP is misrepresenting what Copeland was saying. He was saying that Jesus found the passage in Isaiah where it referred to Him receiving the anointing for ministry. He wasn't saying that Jesus didn't know who He was. JP constantly uses straw man tactics like this to misrepresent WoF people and brand them heretics.

I just left word of faith. Last message the pastor said when Jesus read Isiah and said this passage was fullfilled he said this was not for Christ but us. I was so sick when I heard this. He then said a person who speaks infront church in tongues can interpret his own tongue. I looked it up and this is false. Always look up all scripture a teacher preaches. Protect yourself. He also said we are not to pray Lord's prayer as this shows we don't have faith. He told us this and my heart sank. I'm glad I'm out of this church but my wife is deceived by this cult. So I have to find a new church with sound doctrine but now I have battle for my wife. I'm such a stupid man to lead my family into this cult. I told pastor that faith plus deeds is proper. If you believe forsay and go get a job god will open doors as you go. Speaking does nothing. So I offended him. He said I have opressive spirit. I told him hot wants balanced scales. Faith with practal deeds . Not bizzare teachings. Plus Lord spoke in his word to my heart that how can these preaches live like billion airs and justify it as Jesus said where you heart is there is your treasure. You cannot serve God and money. They preached Jesus was rich. I see Jesus as telling his deciples to go borrow a donkey. Jesus said ho catch a fish to pay temple tax. Jesus had no home. But Jesus was tempted in wilderness by Satan saying if you bow down to me I will give you all riches in world. These tv preachers need big churches, sell books CDs and videos to build their empires. They will make merchandise of you. But those who lust will gravitate towards them and send their money to them. I see a delima. Joel Osteen 🤦🏻♀️ I remember being excited to find christian radio station, it was Joel Osteen. First, it was uplifting, After a month I started to feel like he really doesn't preach anything else than positive and it felt off. So I googled him and his critics, learnt about prosperity Gospel and I knew Holy Spirit gave me the discernment and confirmed it right there. I can't imagine listening him over and over again for years.

I wondered why i thought this bc my grandson believes this way .He went to ministry school and went on missionary trips. I came to God in an atheist nation, and the first person I encountered who seemed to take the Bible as seriously as I had suddenly been called to was a Charismatic drug addict. It was a bit of a harrowing time. I did what I could to try help him, but it seemed like any help I gave he took as proof that he was successfully manipulating me.
“But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.” 2 Peter 2:1 Here is one of the problems that I have with the “WORD OF FAITH” movement. Preachers like Joel Osteen, Joyce Myer, Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Paul Crouch, Marilyn Hickey, Benny Hinn, Creflo dollar, T.D Jakes etc. These teachers have coined the phrase “Name it and claim it” which is a dangerous heresy prosperity preaching. From personal experience when my first wife Viki got sick, I prayed like never before, day & night, hundreds of people were praying for her, and she died nonetheless. Was God absent? Did he reject our prayers based on some un-confessed sin, or a lack of faith on Viki’s part, or on my part? Or was it just God’s will that Viki died? God is not a vending machine; pray this prayer and receive the answer you want. Often the answer we receive from God may not be the answer we wanted…sometimes His answer is “Wait” and sometimes His answer is “No”. The Great apostle Paul had some type of infirmity, Paul was a great man of faith, yet each time he asked to have his infirmity taken away to be healed, the answer was “My grace is sufficient". Did Paul turn and say, “I NAME IT AND CLAIM IT!” No...Let’s see what he did say. “And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:7-10
thank you for sharing your thoughts and in response to what you said at the beginning of your comment, I will add that regarding those false prophets, the apostle peter declares in verse 2 of 2 peter 2 that many will follow their pernicious ways, because of whom the Way of Truth will be blasphemed. When you shared your story regarding your first wife Viki and her sickness leading to her death, you made it so clear that God is by no means a vending machine, neither is he Santa Claus and yes, He is good, but His interpretation of "good" is completely different than you and I often tend to think. In fact, in Isaiah 55:8, the Lord Himself makes it clear that His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are our ways His ways. Also, when it comes to the Truth of who God is, His goodness and His absolute sovereignty over everything, to tell you a bit about myself, I'm partially blind and the thing that has been such an encouragement to me and has kept me marching onward is that story in John 9, where Jesus is walking along the road, when he sees a man who is blind from birth and His disciples ask Him whether or not this man's blindness is a result of his sin or that of his parents, but Jesus responds to them by saying that it is neither. It is so that the power of God might be displayed in him and what I'm able to get from that passage is that I may never know the exact reason why the Lord allowed me to be born blind, but all I can do is simply trust that He had a good purpose for it. To Him be praise for His glorious reign!
Sometimes there are things that block our healing. Research Derek Prince. I have learned many things from this man of God. He taught me much about deliverance. It works. All the gifts of the Holy Spirit were given to empower our lives & our individual ministries. Justin does not understand this. Just as you need "sola scriptura" to exercise discernment through study so also you need "the anointing" that dwells in you; the Spirit of God, the teacher, the comforter, the reprover of sin; and he who establishes righteousness and reveals it. I believe with all my heart that someone could be so full of God's word but not have the discernment of God's "Spirit." I've seen that. I've seen it over the past 42 years in living for the Lord the two edged sword that men think that they wield is dull because they do not discern the Spirit of the Living God (the anointing of the Father). Hence, it's very possible to know God's word and not the moving of His Spirit. It's very frightening even with a person's best intentions.

However, several of the preachers you include among false prophets have done a great deal for me. I've never heard Joyce Meyer preach prosperity. She has helped me so much! She is awesome! Joel Osteen does preach prosperity but he's also a great encourager. I think many many people have come to the Lord bc of him. He has been a great blessing in my life. So don't discount these preachers as no good. They are a great blessing to me and many millions of others. The Holy Spirit corrects the mistakes of people.
Joyce Meyers has some very crazy doctrine, she says Jesus went to Hell and physically fought Demons and Satan, she is word of faith, anyone who usurps to this false teaching is unbiblical, period.
Bill Johnson has stated more than once (as he did in this video at 46:40) his belief in the eternal deity of Jesus. When he says that Jesus set aside His divinity he was just referring to His divine attributes and divine capacity. One of His divine attributes is omnipresence, and Jesus clearly was confined to one location at a time while on Earth. John MacArthur has said essentially the same thing as Bill Johnson did. I am glad you did not turn your comments off, thank you. I believe you really do believe what you are saying. But I have had a few encounters myself. Jesus physically came in my bedroom in December, 1984, and healed me. He was behind me, I did not see Him. Jesus pulled me out of hell on November 1, 1994. I was in outer darkness, screaming. My body was in our home, completely dead, 2 people saw me dead, about 2 hours or so. I have been with the Lord about 40 years, I know enough to never lie about this. Plus, I had a few m I re things happen. I can't speak for anyone other than myself. I also have had quite an few miracles. Everyone is not lying.
"Count the cost" because when you give yourself to Jesus you will have to face great hardship and tribulation. But it takes my breath away of what we GAIN when we invite Jesus to be our Lord. Some of their teachings are unscriptural but Joyce Meyer has helped me a great deal. She has changed her mind about some of her previous teachings. The ban against women teaching was a temporary thing bc of the Greek church being disorderly. Paul always supported women teachers in the church. It should have been interpreted from Greek as “I am not now permitting women to teach.” What has been interpreted as “I do not allow a woman to USURP a man” is a misinterpretation of the word AUTHENTEIN. During the apostolic period, the word meant sexual murder. Had a sexual connotation. It came to mean USURP well after apostolic period.

I so appreciate this, because my doctor's nurse is a disciple of Joel Osteen, ludicrously, and it shows, and I'm confident she has no conception of my physical suffering from multiple sclerosis. I think I had the gift of discernment my whole life, but the world kept me from understanding the presuppositions that were baked into both sides of arguments which emerged in the 19th century that kept me away from seeing the evident nature of God's creation. I was very quickly drawn to you, Mike Winger, and Corey Minor when I prayed for wisdom.
I think you guys are in a different paradigm, because of the whole evolution thing which I think mostly comes from Americans culture, but you lead me to an understanding of the Bible fully.
One thing I have very quickly noticed is that on the face of people things can be quite obvious. When you speak, when Mr Winger or Mr Minor speak, it is clearly authentic. It is you there, speaking, giving people the information you have as best as you can possibly present it, with sharp minds.
The false preachers, and the people pushing secret knowledge doctrines, there is always a mask. They are like a character from the TV. There isn't authenticity, it's like looking at something wearing a skinsuit to appear human.
The demonic activity on earth I think is usually like that. If it clicks and you can see it, there are authentic Christians, there are lost people wading through darkness, and then there are creatures wearing the masks of humans.
Jesus knew exactly who he was. Luke 2:49, 52. Kenneth Copeland is completely and totally wrong.
JP is misrepresenting what Copeland was saying. He was saying that Jesus found the passage in Isaiah where it referred to Him receiving the anointing for ministry. He wasn't saying that Jesus didn't know who He was. JP constantly uses straw man tactics like this to misrepresent WoF people and brand them heretics.

I just left word of faith. Last message the pastor said when Jesus read Isiah and said this passage was fullfilled he said this was not for Christ but us. I was so sick when I heard this. He then said a person who speaks infront church in tongues can interpret his own tongue. I looked it up and this is false. Always look up all scripture a teacher preaches. Protect yourself. He also said we are not to pray Lord's prayer as this shows we don't have faith. He told us this and my heart sank. I'm glad I'm out of this church but my wife is deceived by this cult. So I have to find a new church with sound doctrine but now I have battle for my wife. I'm such a stupid man to lead my family into this cult. I told pastor that faith plus deeds is proper. If you believe forsay and go get a job god will open doors as you go. Speaking does nothing. So I offended him. He said I have opressive spirit. I told him hot wants balanced scales. Faith with practal deeds . Not bizzare teachings. Plus Lord spoke in his word to my heart that how can these preaches live like billion airs and justify it as Jesus said where you heart is there is your treasure. You cannot serve God and money. They preached Jesus was rich. I see Jesus as telling his deciples to go borrow a donkey. Jesus said ho catch a fish to pay temple tax. Jesus had no home. But Jesus was tempted in wilderness by Satan saying if you bow down to me I will give you all riches in world. These tv preachers need big churches, sell books CDs and videos to build their empires. They will make merchandise of you. But those who lust will gravitate towards them and send their money to them. I see a delima. If Jesus we're to ask Kenneth Coopland and Jessy duplantis to sell everything and take up their cross will they?

Joel Osteen 🤦🏻♀️ I remember being excited to find christian radio station, it was Joel Osteen. First, it was uplifting, After a month I started to feel like he really doesn't preach anything else than positive and it felt off. So I googled him and his critics, learnt about prosperity Gospel and I knew Holy Spirit gave me the discernment and confirmed it right there. I can't imagine listening him over and over again for years.
I often share videos like this. But I so often either get silence, or push back. Still, this springs to mind:

I came to God in an atheist nation, and the first person I encountered who seemed to take the Bible as seriously as I had suddenly been called to was a Charismatic drug addict. It was a bit of a harrowing time. I did what I could to try help him, but it seemed like any help I gave he took as proof that he was successfully manipulating me.

Here is one of the problems that I have with the “WORD OF FAITH” movement. Preachers like Joel Osteen, Joyce Myer, Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Paul Crouch, Marilyn Hickey, Benny Hinn, Creflo dollar, T.D Jakes etc. These teachers have coined the phrase “Name it and claim it” which is a dangerous heresy prosperity preaching. From personal experience when my first wife Viki got sick, I prayed like never before, day & night, hundreds of people were praying for her, and she died nonetheless. Was God absent? Did he reject our prayers based on some un-confessed sin, or a lack of faith on Viki’s part, or on my part? Or was it just God’s will that Viki died? God is not a vending machine; pray this prayer and receive the answer you want. Often the answer we receive from God may not be the answer we wanted…sometimes His answer is “Wait” and sometimes His answer is “No”. The Great apostle Paul had some type of infirmity, Paul was a great man of faith, yet each time he asked to have his infirmity taken away to be healed, the answer was “My grace is sufficient". Did Paul turn and say, “I NAME IT AND CLAIM IT!” No...Let’s see what he did say.
“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. thank you for sharing your thoughts and in response to what you said at the beginning of your comment, I will add that regarding those false prophets, the apostle peter declares in verse 2 of 2 peter 2 that many will follow their pernicious ways, because of whom the Way of Truth will be blasphemed.
When you shared your story regarding your first wife Viki and her sickness leading to her death, you made it so clear that God is by no means a vending machine, neither is he Santa Claus and yes, He is good, but His interpretation of "good" is completely different than you and I often tend to think. In fact, in Isaiah 55:8, the Lord Himself makes it clear that His thoughts are not our thoughts, neither are our ways His ways.
Also, when it comes to the Truth of who God is, His goodness and His absolute sovereignty over everything, to tell you a bit about myself, I'm partially blind and the thing that has been such an encouragement to me and has kept me marching onward is that story in John 9, where Jesus is walking along the road, when he sees a man who is blind from birth and His disciples ask Him whether or not this man's blindness is a result of his sin or that of his parents, but Jesus responds to them by saying that it is neither. It is so that the power of God might be displayed in him and what I'm able to get from that passage is that I may never know the exact reason why the Lord allowed me to be born blind, but all I can do is simply trust that He had a good purpose for it.

Sometimes there are things that block our healing. Research Derek Prince. I have learned many things from this man of God. He taught me much about deliverance. It works. All the gifts of the Holy Spirit were given to empower our lives & our individual ministries. Justin does not understand this. He is right on a lot of things in the Charismatic Movement but like most Baptist preachers is wrong on others.

Just as you need "sola scriptura" to exercise discernment through study so also you need "the anointing" that dwells in you; the Spirit of God, the teacher, the comforter, the reprover of sin; and he who establishes righteousness and reveals it. I believe with all my heart that someone could be so full of God's word but not have the discernment of God's "Spirit." I've seen that. I've seen it over the past 42 years in living for the Lord the two edged sword that men think that they wield is dull because they do not discern the Spirit of the Living God (the anointing of the Father). Hence, it's very possible to know God's word and not the moving of His Spirit. It's very frightening even with a person's best intentions.

Well, some of this "discernment stuff" is kind of hard on my spiritual pride, but I definitely NEED for all of that old WOF (Word of Faith) junk to get washed out of my brain....I have been out of my FORMER WOF Church for about 19 months, and some of that old "jazz" still pops up out of nowhere..
I find myself still WANTING to attend some of their seminars and special events, but I usually fight off that "want to" that sometimes assails me (still) When is this gonna go away (completely)???

Being the daughter of a pastor I agree with you 100%....religion has strayed so far from God's word that I doubt that there's any time of recovery. God is going to have his church she is not going to be a part of any of all this foolishness. But the masses enjoy this stuff. However, several of the preachers you include among false prophets have done a great deal for me. I've never heard Joyce Meyer preach prosperity. She has helped me so much! She is awesome!
Joel Osteen does preach prosperity but he's also a great encourager. I think many many people have come to the Lord bc of him. He has been a great blessing in my life. So don't discount these preachers as no good. They are a great blessing to me and many millions of others. The Holy Spirit corrects the mistakes of people.
Joyce Meyers has some very crazy doctrine, she says Jesus went to Hell and physically fought Demons and Satan, she is word of faith, anyone who usurps to this false teaching is unbiblical, period.

Bill Johnson has stated more than once (as he did in this video at 46:40) his belief in the eternal deity of Jesus. When he says that Jesus set aside His divinity he was just referring to His divine attributes and divine capacity. One of His divine attributes is omnipresence, and Jesus clearly was confined to one location at a time while on Earth. John MacArthur has said essentially the same thing as Bill Johnson did. Straw man.
Discernment is a gift of the Holy Spirit comparable with all the other gifts. And without the anointing and unction of the Holy Spirit we can only ever use our intellect, tradition and what we have been taught by other human beings.

I am glad you did not turn your comments off, thank you. I believe you really do believe what you are saying. But I have had a few encounters myself. Jesus physically came in my bedroom in December, 1984, and healed me. He was behind me, I did not see Him. Jesus pulled me out of hell on November 1, 1994. I was in outer darkness, screaming. My body was in our home, completely dead, 2 people saw me dead, about 2 hours or so. I have been with the Lord about 40 years, I know enough to never lie about this. Plus, I had a few m I re things happen. I can't speak for anyone other than myself. I also have had quite an few miracles. Everyone is not lying.
"Count the cost" because when you give yourself to Jesus you will have to face great hardship and tribulation. But it takes my breath away of what we GAIN when we invite Jesus to be our Lord. The cost of our sin is terrible beyond imagination. He takes away our sin and endures our D E A T H. Make Jesus yours. No matter the earthy cost, is NOTHING in comparison to our gain through Christ.

He and his wife where driving around looking for a parking space and he prayed that an open parking space would open up for them and low and behold there it was God listened to him and there was that parking space 2 feet from the front door. Life is not a bowel full of cherries. it's like he says just believe enough in God he'll make you prosperous. Some of their teachings are unscriptural but Joyce Meyer has helped me a great deal. She has changed her mind about some of her previous teachings. The ban against women teaching was a temporary thing bc of the Greek church being disorderly. Paul always supported women teachers in the church. It should have been interpreted from Greek as “I am not now permitting women to teach.” What has been interpreted as “I do not allow a woman to USURP a man” is a misinterpretation of the word AUTHENTEIN. During the apostolic period, the word meant sexual murder. Had a sexual connotation. It came to mean USURP well after apostolic period.
I don’t trust Benny Hinn or Kenneth Copeland.
