HI!! in today's tutorial I teach as how to make a book shabby chic vintage style, which are actually cardboard organizers to keep everything you want and decorate your room.
I think it may be one of those gift ideas for mothers day as it is a beautiful craft to make a nice gift.
Doing these boxes is cheap because you need very few materials and the result is great.
The materials we need:
- Folding Cardboard of about 2 or 3 millimeters thick
- Masking tape
- White glue
- Cold silicone
- acrylic paint
- felt
- modelling paste
- To protect can use transparent varnish or one layer of white glue

i'm trying to make that box, but my paint does not cover the cardboards, the clay, the maskentape etc perfectly as yours did. what am I missing?
Make sure to put a layer of white glue on top then put a few layers of acrylic paint

Can you use anything else instead of compact cardboard.
Mia Mason could always use plywood so its more sturdy just use a real book for mesaurments and the hardware store will make the cuts for you. :)

I think no because it is just glue

silicon is usually a strong glue, fixes heavy parts better(like cardboards). The white glue is better for sticking pieces of somewhat thick paper.
