@Slowazzd21 yes sadly. He is at the age of an adult where he should know the dangers of using chemicals. There could be a person who had some allergy, etc. I doubt even a public defender or paid lawyer sadly would put too much work into this case. Should he get the full 10 years no, but he should at least be able to get a plea deal for at least a few months behind bars and probation I would argue. Not only did he endanger other students lives ( which sadly with how the states are now in days any little threat will be overblown because you never know). They ( the 17 year old should also be facing Juvie) defaced a government building and indirectly attacked government officials ( teachers, etc). Wasted police resources that I am sure costed in the thousands to thoroughly check for leakage amongst other things. It's sad it was most likely just a senior prank they did for a little fun, but as Atozy said they saw the outcome and still kept continuing. I just can't feel any remorse for such stupidity. It would be one thing if it was a straight A student who had a lapse in judgment, but something tells me these students weren't anywhere close to being the brightest bulbs in their class, and just wanted to exact some kind of revenge on their school.

I can actually vouch for the sponsor of this video. My lawyer through their firm has been incredibly helpful, and if the rest are like him then I can definitely recommend them.
So you asked about why do it if there are cameras. After working in IT at a school I can tell you they just totally don’t think about it. I had a student lie and say another student shoved them and broke their arm. I saw the footage and gave to the admins and it showed the student tripping and falling… and no one was around them when it happens. As a bonus, the student blamed was half way across campus skipping along all smiles to their next class. Felt so great to protect that kid who didn’t deserve to be framed like that. At 18, the forethought and remembering just isn’t there. But I can say that for a lot of people who have been adults for decades
I respect Atozy for wanting this kid to not go to prison. I’m not as understanding or forgiving. This kid’s prank put a school into panic, and as an 18 year old, he should know that this isn’t ok.
I remember the days when I put the fake dog poo prank out and my mom found it and thought it was the cat, and was upset because I put it in their bedroom! THAT is a prank!! The crap these kids are doing today is out of control, hurting people, and ridiculous!! They need to define what is actually considered a prank and make it illegal for this other crazy behavior!

@@MadScientist267 let’s do some quick maths here- you joined TH-cam 16 years ago, so roughly 2007, which was well before the time where every kid 10 and older was running around with cell phones and tablets, so let’s say you were at least 16 years old when you made this account. 16 years old + 16 years later = at least 32 years old. We’ll add a +\- of 5 years to be generous, so at the youngest, maybe you’re 27, or maybe you’re closer to 37. Now with all that taken into account, when we reread your comment that you left with the understanding that it was likely left by someone in their late 20’s, but probably more likely that you’re in your mid 30s if not older, and then take into consideration that you said it to someone who is old enough to have a daughter in high school, so is likely also in maybe their mid 30s as well, it really makes you seem like just a sad, miserable human being. They’ll almost certainly get either a shit-load of community service or some kind of deferred adjudication. The courts don’t like saddling first-timers with life-ruining charges, especially when the offenders are young and stupid. Hopefully whatever their punishment is, it scares them enough to stop being public nuisances. I can’t imagine how making your classmates ill equates to a funny prank, but I’ve never been big on fart jokes, so maybe it’s just me. I’m getting to the “you kids get off of my lawn!” stage in life, so it could very well be me, lol (but I suspect it’s not, at least in this case!).
Well I'm pretty young and I can confirm that this fart prank is really dumb. It's one thing to spray fart spray and it's another to do it after people have been hospitalized.
Had something like this happened in my high school. It was tossed in a garbage can, and the hallway was basically avoided. Thankfully, no one became ill from it.
2 weeks ago, i took my 17-year-old on a trip to NY to see his brother, who was deploying to Europe. He came back to an empty locker. Someone had used fart spray in it, and the janitor had to empty it to contain the smell. It had his backpack, books, school laptop in it. I was pissed! The kid never got in trouble. When my kid confronted him he told him to chill. We had to bleach wipe everything down.
@@poiu477 Saying "It's just fart spray" is the same type of response as "ITS JUST A PRANK BRAH". Yeah it may just be fart spray, but if you are spraying enough of it to the point you are causing a mass amount of people to become ill, that's gone well beyond too far.
I love that they find a parent who looks like a high school dropout who’s currently on hard drugs to interview… they always have some crack opinion/observation. In FL, which is not known as the epitome of the right way to do things, will call your house/cell phone to inform you about everything that’s going on campus 3 times a week. Fart spray may be for pranks, but it's still a chemical and excessive amounts of it can be toxic and make you sick. He probably used waaaay beyond the standard amount.
Jail is not the only deterrent in the legal system and statistically it’s the least affective one at deterring someone from committing crime (66 percent of all people who go to jail re offend). Fines of thousands are issued and the rights of the individual are restricted which is more effective for crimes like this because it forces the person to work a job and contribute to the community instead of rotting in jail around other criminals.
Exactly. The first one can be considered a harmless prank, but once he repeated his actions after seeing what happened the first time he proved he deserves consequences.
Lol no, they would look at them like immature, spoiled kids who had a good life with good opportunities, but threw them all away cus they wanted to try and be rebels. Most people in prison had troubled childhoods that took them down a bad path, so any kids who have it made and throw it all away are looked down upon.
This was before TikTok even existed, early 2005 I believe. I was a junior in HS. Someone let of a pepper spray (mace) bomb, and let me tell you it was bad. Walking through the hallways was hard. You could taste it and your eyes would burn. Through out the whole high school. I remember also it lasted for a couple of days. Never found out who did it.
I sprayed stuff like that in a hallway at work once. I had to go confess because they thought a sewer line busted and was going to call maintenance to tear up the floor. We all had a good laugh. I only sprayed 4-5 sprays. It stunk pretty bad.
I’d honestly be more worried about the money you’d face paying for the medical bills for the kids you caused to go to the ER or any other medical bills when they sue you.
That’s so freezing soft and crybabyish. Show me any of the ‘effects’ they experienced were more than the placebo effect and I’ll be shocked. This is such an overreaction-These people are trying to act like the kids deployed a chemical weapon and there’s simply no plausible case to be made in that regard.
I remember in 2016 when I was a junior, my one school friend did this. That area of the school was evacuated and closed for 3 days. He got 3 days suspended. Up to 10 years in prison is ridiculous. And I hate pranks, they’re stupid and dangerous
Back when I was in highschool, someone brought deer piss to school n put it in the hallways. Was terrible. That said , I could see the panic setting in with everyone suddenly getting sick. Just think about suddenly catching a scent, no knowledge what it is , then all the symptoms start happening and you have no idea why your head feels like it's gonna explode and throwing up. Especially in this day and age.

Yeah, but if TikTok gets banned the creators and viewers move to another platform, so it's not TikTok you should hate, but the environment that lets people just do this type of shit without giving it a second thought.
Mass hysteria accounts for all the complaints of headaches and puking. If your friend claims a headache, suddenly you have one, and then you tell another friend, and you have a mass hysterical chain reaction. The puking could be an exaggeration of a student gagging and when students were telling the story it turned into puking. Like a game of telephone that gets out of control.
You are 100% correct my friend. There are literally hundreds of cases like this that have been documented from around the world. Something harmless, but perceived as a threat can cause immense panic, especially in children.

I fully support and believe in jail time for any "prank" that goes this far out of control. People never learn until they get serious consequences
He's literally a kid and you think they should be jailed for using fart spray?
@@slowazzd2165considering the fiasco that resulted, yes. Max sentences are the best deterrent for things like this
@Slowazzd21 yes sadly.

Nope. Had a personal injury claim due to an accident at work. Believe what you want though. :)

Incidents like this scenario are as much a “prank”, as the Joker is simply a misunderstood non villain.
When " it's just a prank bro" becomes chemical warfare.
Had something like this happened in my high school. It was tossed in a garbage can, and the hallway was basically avoided. Thankfully, no one became ill from it.
How is that a prank? That's literally chemical assault.
Thats the default excuse lately
Chill it's just fart spray
2 weeks ago, i took my 17-year-old on a trip to NY to see his brother, who was deploying to Europe. He came back to an empty locker. Someone had used fart spray in it, and the janitor had to empty it to contain the smell. It had his backpack, books, school laptop in it. I was pissed! The kid never got in trouble. When my kid confronted him he told him to chill. We had to bleach wipe everything down.
“Chemical assault” 😂😂
@@poiu477 Saying "It's just fart spray" is the same type of response as "ITS JUST A PRANK BRAH". Yeah it may just be fart spray, but if you are spraying enough of it to the point you are causing a mass amount of people to become ill, that's gone well beyond too far.
I love that they find a parent who looks like a high school dropout who’s currently on hard drugs to interview… they always have some crack opinion/observation. In FL, which is not known as the epitome of the right way to do things, will call your house/cell phone to inform you about everything that’s going on campus 3 times a week. Even Atozy was like “ok” stfu and ended the interview video.
He should get Community Service as a skunk remover!! and only be free after 100 removals or 3 months as a crime scene cleaner/ Hazardous Prevention Team that had to come to the school!! He will not want to smell the fart spray ever again!!
Fart spray may be for pranks, but it's still a chemical and excessive amounts of it can be toxic and make you sick. He probably used waaaay beyond the standard amount.
At least he already has his prison name: Fart Spray
Jail terms are supposed to be deterrents but if people keep getting slapped on the wrist for dangerous “pranks” they’ll never stop.

Most people in prison had troubled childhoods that took them down a bad path, so any kids who have it made and throw it all away are looked down upon.
A friend and myself did this in a school in Texas. Apparently the older the can the more potent it gets. One spray cleared our school.
Here in Texas you can be charged as a adult at 17.

Right? Between hospital bills and paying the school back for testing, those boys ain't seeing a paycheck for a decade.
Right all those little soft little kids who had their delicate noses wrecked by fart spray
That’s so freezing soft and crybabyish. Show me any of the ‘effects’ they experienced were more than the placebo effect and I’ll be shocked.
