1972 #120 FLH 98ci shovelhead stroker motor rebuild Harley by tatro machine
see how to rebuild a Harley hotrod shovelhead stroker motor with very few new parts.
the motor ran out of oil from a big oil leak and locked up. need to fixed the motor for the summer and then fix it right over the winter.
I bet it runs good for a few years because of the way I fix things.

I have welded sockets onto a bit of flat bar for the head and cylinder bolts that works for me. With shovels I find you have to make quite a few home made tools.

What wrench do you use to turn the crankshaft once the cases are together?

it is a specialty tool. just use a motor sprocket nut and a sprocket on a breaker bar.
