    Hi Doc! Maybe I missed it and I watched it twice before asking. (hope I didn't miss it) What are the kettle bell weights you recommend for each exercise? I have never used Kettle bells but I am not a beginner to exercise having done your other videos.

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Tina, thanks for writing in and great question! The weight amount will vary, depending on the individual. But most of our members use around 10-15lbs for the smaller KBs and 30-40+lbs for the larger ones. If you try one of them, let us know how it goes. Thanks for watching!

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Suri, thanks for writing in and hope the fast went OK for you! We do have a great workout routing that can help mitigate any muscle loss. However, I would recommend doing this outside of prolonged fasting periods as a way to help prevent any losses. Best of luck and let us know how it goes for you if you try it!

    What is your opinion on yoga and pilates for muscle and strength?

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey LM, thanks for writing in and great question! We are big fans of yoga/pilates as you can work your body in a completely different manner with more isometric exercise. However, as with most things, we recommend using this as a piece to the puzzle as lifting heavier weights, cardio, (dynamic) stretching, and muscle-tissue work are all integral aspects to a well-rounded body. Ironically, we are in the process of adding a full yoga program to our current FM30X All Access membership program. You can learn more here==> pulse.ly/s0nycu2fdl

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Christine, thanks for writing in and great question! The difference will vary per individual but as long as it's roughly 3-4x heavier, you are in good shape to do the workouts. Thanks for watching and happy lifting!

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Angela, thanks for writing in and great question! Kettlebells are a great option as the offset weight helps create more core activation. Most of our members start around 10-20lbs if using two or 20-40lbs if using one heavier KB. Best of luck and thanks for watching!

    What weight kettlebell should I use for these exercises?

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question! However, the answer will vary, depending on the individual, their strength, fitness level, etc. However, most of our female members use anywhere from 10-20lbs per KB. But the exact amount doesn't matter as much as choosing a weight that challenges you consistently.
      Best of luck!

      Correct. YET the mechanism that burns those calories (the specific type and intensity of exercise used) has variable effect on muscles stimulated, functional range of motion challenged, and effect on the CNS. This is a fact.

    Looking for a new protein powder and came across a You Tube Doc who says all protein powders should be avoided, ground up protein stimulates insulin and "makes people fat." Could you offer advice on this? So discouraging when conflicting info is shared by doctors. Sigh!

    • @FitMotherProject
      @FitMotherProject  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Leanne, thanks for writing in and great question! All types of proteins will stimulate insulin production as it's necessary for shuttling the consumed food to your cells for energy. And protein actually stimulates insulin less than carbohydrates so using protein powder is actually a super convenient way to consume many great benefits.
