Are you able to pronounce sharp Czech 'R' already? Then, say it loooong and shape your lips to the circle. Sound will change to 'Ř' smoothly. It is a method used by czech logopeds.
Hello Anicka and Lucka, you both are making wonderful videos ! Thank you for sharing the Czech language and its culture with us (language lovers). I have been learning Bulgarian and Russian for a few years now, most of the verbs are recognizable for me. Some verbs are closer to Polish like the verb "to work" which would be more like 'rabota' in eastern and some southern slavic languages. Last but not least, the Czech language is beautiful just as you both ! I can't wait till the next episode of this wonderful series. Take care !

The correct form 3:47 of "jíst" in the 3rd person plural is "jedí", not "jí", it is not proper czech The same thing with 10:01 -the correct form is "vědí", not "ví"

I can assure you it doesnt sound like russian. It a little bit similar but really a little bit. Why people always says that polish or czech or other slavic languages sounds always "like russian". Yeah, its all slavic languages but they're not the same, they have a lot a lot alot of differences.
@@krewetkashrimp Hey there ! Because most people who have never heard slavic language assimilate every Eastern European language with Russian. When I spoke Bulgarian some day, people asked me if it was Russian, same was true with Romanian !
@@dispuncho As vocabulary is concerned I would say that most Bulgarian words are pretty similar to Russian =) but the pronounciation is completely different.
Pretty sure I'm not the only one who would _enormously_ appreciate a video about the correct pronunciation of _ř_ . 😉

Jí and ví are both present tense and correct for 3rd singular. How could that be untrue?
