I loved Kamala's performance in the debate. It was so satisfying to watch her give him his "just deserts" finally. He's been attacking America over and over and she stood up there putting him where he belongs....melting down into a blubbering puddle of lies and conspiracy. Not only that, she was poised, stern and beautiful doing it. She makes me proud to be a woman. She knows that we have to work twice as hard for half the credit and she's doing the work!

I'm a UK citizen, and I find it invaluable to hear your discussions of the events and activities in the Trump/Harris joustings. I also appreciate your discussion on the latest Trump legal case and what the implications are. I pray every day that more and more of the Trump supporters will drop the scales from their eyes and see Trump for what he truly is, and give their vote to Kamala Harris. People around the world can't bear the thought of another 4 years of Trump nonsense- - and it does have an impact on us. While I can understand how back in 2016 a lot of people in America might have thought that he could be a refreshing change for the country (although they were mostly duped by his "portrayal" of a good businessman in "The Apprentice"), the world found out only too quickly what he was REALLY all about once he got his hands on the reins. He must never be let loose on them again - especially after building up all his cosy relationships with dictators around the world (who he can get money out of!!). Thank you Karen & Michael for mentioning 9/11. As a NYer who lost 18 dear friends that day. Almost lost my older sister as she worked in Tower 2. Luckily I was heading to a meeting that morning across the street and witnessed the first plane hit and called her right away adamently screaming for her to get out of there. She exited the building 10 minutes prior to the first tower collapsing. Both of us covered in deprise walked all the way to my UES apt in tears. It wasnt until a few days later that we found out the extent of our loss. Its a day neither of us will ever forget. By sharing our stories we remember all of those we lost with honor and dignity to let them know they will never be forgotten and that they live on in our hearts. My deepest sympathy Karen and Michael for your loss. 23 years and the pain just doesn't go away.

Have to jump in here about 9/11. That day forever haunts me. My grandfather cut steel for the towers so they were always a personal memorial to him and were suddenly gone. The overwhelming feeling of the loss of life, to which I first assumed would be so much higher as I knew how long it took to get out of those buildings because I had been there twice. And lastly, my Mom lost a friend at the Pentagon, the very building my Dad used to work in. It was all too tragic for my heart and mind, I suffered panic attacks for about two months before I got it under control. Thank you for recognizing it, for ensuring people never forget. ❤
