Out of the 3 mxtx novel this is my favorite😍the story is superb and the main characters huacheng and xielian will make your ❤️ ache,scream and cry...there's too much emotion and devotion in this novel that u can't help but be swept away....their love is tooooo addicting...i really cant move on to this novel..im gonna read it again😩

I really love the novel. At the same time, I hate it. It made me depressed for months after I read it. Why do my favorite characters die? Why do they have to suffer so much? Why does it take hundreds of years just so they could be together? Why? Why? Why?
Like they say, you only know how much you truly love something when you’ve lost it. So, similarly, authors “kill off” characters (mostly all temporarily) to get the readers to experience “grief” alongside any other main characters (the same applies to us watching them suffer and never getting tgt) so that we “love” and cherish the characters more (Ik this isn’t the answer ur looking for)
I think the best way to describe it.. is that there's beauty in the pain 😭😭😭 But i agree it's been so long and I'm still not over this.. i don't think I'll ever be.
