The kids vs Geeta to get the permission to go to Area Zero to find Entei! As well... as the revelation that Sango and Onyx are trailing them for recon... could this be a hint that progress will be made on the side of the RVT in Area Zero?
    - 5:05: Ah yes, with the multiple Shaymin... this has been explored a couple of times... in the Shaymin movie, the DP anime episode surrounding Shaymin (I think?) as well as Mallow's "special" Shaymin in the SM series.
    - 5:28: The original line in the episode 57 subs by her said "accompany" instead of "guide". Of course... now knowing the context, using "accompany" was not right and this change will be backported.
    - 9:47: Magical Shine is the Fairy Type move Dazzling Gleam.
    - 13:55: Like said by the other user before me, that is Memento and not Parting Shot. It just directly translates to Parting Gift from the Japanese.
    - 23:17: Somehow, I wasn't able to predict myself that yes, Liko, Roy and Dot's win against Geeta, a Champion, is seen as extremely controversial and... the general public opinion on Geeta as one of the (if not, the) worst/weakest Champions didn't quite help there.
    Episode Staaaff:
    - Written by series compositor 佐藤大 (Dai Satō) who previously directly wrote the screenplay of episode 71 (meeting Briar at the Crystal Pond).
    - Storyboarded by 西田章二 (Shōji Nishida) who previously also storyboarded episode 71.
    - Directed by 新開彩絵 (Ayae Shinkai)... originally a Production Assistant of the Pokémon anime working on managing the production of episodes from the last year of Journeys until episode 14 of Horizons... then leaving the production going on to debut as a Storyboard Artist and Episode Director on OLM golf anime, Tonbo, last year and now returning to Pokémon as an Episode Director for the first time.
    - Animation-directed by:
    * 忍田雄介 (Yusuke Oshida), main action animator of Pokémon Horizons who previously supervised and storyboarded part of episode 67 (Liko vs Roy)
    * 松本めぐみ (Megumi Matsumoto), regular in-house animator who previously supervised part of episode 75 (the fate of Rakua)
    * 新岡浩美 (Hiromi Niioka), regular in-house animator who previously supervised part of episode 69 (the Synchro Machine)
    * 北島勇樹 (Yūki Kitajima), an semi-regular on and off animator who previously supervised part of episode 73 (Kleavor battle)
    - This is a major in-house episode... I don't know if I would go as far as to say Production Priority though...
    - The big action animators appearing are 岩井田夏帆 (Natsuho Iwaida) for presumably the beginning sakuga, 宮田忠明 (Tadaaki Miyata) for presumably the scene of Floragato catching the Glimmlet with the wine and 安藤誠 (Makoto Andō) for (confirmed) the sequence of Geeta terastallizing.

Honestly, knowing Pokemon "fans" on Twitter, even if the trio lost to Geeta they would STILL clown on and mock the trio for being "weak" even though they fought against the Champion (probably saying stuff like "I beat Geeta easily" and completely ignoring that the games and anime are entirely separate canon) like how people clowned on Liko for losing to Katy and Grusha despite being Gym Leaders who have a type advantage over her.
But anyways, was genuinely VERY surprised to see the trio being able to win. All three of them fought really well against Geeta's Glimmets and Glimmora, and it's really nice to see how Liko, Roy and Dot excel in different areas and can support each other. Roy having Crocalor use Disarming Voice on the two Glimmets so Liko and Dot could go after Glimmora, and MOST importantly Liko having Floragato intentionally attacking Crocolor with Sucker Punch to make its attack fail so Stomping Tantrum gets a power boost on the next turn, which is also a thing Liko learned from the battle against Entei. (And no, Stomping Tantrum doesn't get a power boost if the previous move is blocked by Protect)
Though Geeta lost, it's not like she's a total pushover either, she still showed REALLY good tactics like her Glimmets using Rock Polish early on to boost thier speed and evade attacks, Glimmora using Dazzling Gleam to blind the trio so her Glimmets could attack with Power Gem, the Glimmets also have Venoshock to pair with Glimmora's Toxic Debris and using Memento while they're already very weakened on Crocolor and Quaxwell to wear them down significantly, which is also what allowed Glimora to still survive being hit by the boosted Stomping Tantrum.
And it should also be noted how Geeta's Glimmora hardly attacks until it Terastallized. It has Dazzling Gleam but was used ONLY to support the Glimmets by blinding the trio's Pokemon and it occasionally used Spiky Shield, it only began attacking with Tera Blast when it Terastallized.

      I love this year already!
Liko beats all the allegations and is the most amazing and powerful protagonist ever to me right now. She is the guiding light that Lucius entrusted to the world of Pokemon!

Magical shine is dazzling gleam and needle guard is spiky shield FYI. It just that it's different how it is in Japan interprets pokemon attacks.

That was Memento, not Parting Shot.

While it was mostly a test, and a 3vs1 battle, I cannot deny the hilarity of Liko beating a regional champion when:
    1)She lost against all the Gym Leaders and E4 she battled in the previous arc (.... as much thinking about it really makes me upset, especially if we add her defeat against Roy in the mix);
2)It took her less than 80 eps to defeat a regional champion, when for Ash it took over 1000 ones (also the first champion Ash defeated was one of his former travelling companions).

14:33 That was Memento not Parting Shot. Parting Shot only lowers offenses by 1. Memento lowers offenses by 2 and faints the user

"That's insane" no it's not. Geeta gave them the win on purpose
