BOODLE at Swanage Bandstand for the SWANAGE FOLK FESTIVAL 2024

BOODLE, played at Swanage Bandstand as part of the 2024 Swanage Folk Festival.
Recently described as they have risen as part of the 'Dorset Folk Scene' as 'Eclectic, Humorous, Upbeat Folk and Bluesy'.
Some of their past venues have been at Bridport, Weymouth, Fordingbridge also the Wessex Folk Festival.
One musician down for this appearance, they had a compelling musical repertoire and despite the threat of rain played a 'chilled' set regardless of the weather. Many of their songs are self penned, including this one, which is the true story of the lead singers 84 year old mum who wished to be buried with her ciggies, a bottle of whisky and her Dancing Shoes on her Feet.
She got her wish.
