I'm a 40 year old Protestant from Northern Ireland. Now I'm a man I realise there is no Catholic or Protestants anymore. It's just rich people and poor people. And most of us Irishmen are poor so we're all on the same side.
Hello there, I am a 60 year old from Manchester. I am Irish descent and raised a Catholic. Probably because of my background I have always had a strong interest in Irish politics and culture. I have always had a dream for all the tribes and traditions of all the British and Irish Isles to come together. To celebrate our commonalities, to accept all expressions and to understand our common histories. All the best to you brother.
No more brother wars

Listen to this and never forget your roots💚💚💚💚
Irish or not, we could all learn a thing or two about courage, freedom, resistance, self-rule, and solidarity, from Ireland and the Irish
I'm from Arizona@jimdoherty1797
@jimdoherty1797 There is something about Irish music that stirs my soul
Ireland’ story is so tragic, from the plantation by the British paying Scots to settle in the North and breed out the natives in the 1600’s through to partition in 1921, the civil war, the troubles to today, still divided , still a broken country like my own 🏴- which is even more tragic , the only country in history to vote AGAINST its own independence 😂🙈😢
Love this. Good luck from The Netherlands 🇳🇱 ❤ 🇨🇮
Well I have never been there 😂 may God spare me for one day to go just to walk , for all the boys and girls who crossed the ocean wide happy Saint Patrick's Day to everyone have a fabulous day,
I was born in London, both my parents were Irish Co Kerry. They always put these songs on good memories ❤❤❤
I lived in Ireland for one year. I'm a proud argentinian guy but Ireland is my part of my heart. I love those songs ❤
100 PER CENT IRISH born and bred in the rebel County Cork love the Wolfetones.
I grew up with this music and love it just as much today🥺💚
Still going great, would make you proud to Irish, keep it going.

🎉love this makes me happy and sad.
Listening to this awesome music takes me to a country I have privilege of calling it the lannd of my birth. I was born in a mother/baby home (orphanage) in Roscrea,Tipperary. I only spent 15mos in Ireland and the last 63 years in America. I was blessed to be given to two amazing and loving people my parents Mary and Joseph O'Donnell along with 2 older brothers Kevin and Michael and little sister Pat. All of us adopted, I said Mom and Dad were AWESOME. Myself the only one an American born in Ireland. Thanks mom and dad Love you Always.
Mother homes is a stain on Ireland. I myself was in homes. Not good not nice. But were irish.IRELAND..is our home...
I left northern ireland in 1979 moved to Dublin I've live here 40 years now what a beautiful country let's unite
Ireland for the Irish..Glas,Bàn agus Oràiste!..May we rise once more!❤
The year I was born
I took my sons all over Eire weddings, funerals, births you name it, we did it! I also went to the 'so-called' border! There is no border! Irish farmers Brexit et al made a fortune transporting cattle from one side to the other and claiming! Why not ... Even in Blighty Hadrian's wall ... I am accepted by the Scots as our music is similar. Scottish gaelic bit different but who cares. They have their kilts and I have mine ...
VAMOS WOLF TONES MUCH RESPECT FROM 🇦🇷❤
I'm a prod from N I Coleraine to be exact long ago I knew that I was irish by birth and knew that was very much more important than religion nothing should be allowed to devide us
I am an English man and listen to these song with compassion if that is the right wording and really enjoy the music and the songs and feel for those back then
ALL OVER THE WORLD YOU CAN HEAR THE SONG OF WOLF TONES IN ALL IRISH PUB
I grew up with Irish Music and learned to sing it from the time I could talk....I love the Wolfetones

I saw the boys several times when I lived in NJ. They make me proud of my Irish heritage
Up the Byrne's.
I've never been to Ireland. I'm not an Irishman. Nonetheless, when I hear this music, it transports me to 1916, to the 1920s, the 60s even. I AM there clutching my rifle alongside my comrades and waiting for the ambush to begin when that lorry full of the Queens worst comes around the corner. Thank You from my eternal soul for being who you were and for making this music to chronicle it all. You have inspired an old American Rebel to keep on the fight with your tales of better men and women who believed in something real & true and gave everything to gain it. I know it's kind of warm and squishy, but I tear up when I listen to some of these. Easy to believe in past lives when I listen to Rebel tunes.
thanks comrade
Well said Man 👍

I love Irish music.
I was in bellshill ( where I grew up) in 1966 and met a big Irish man, he was working in the old scrape yard. I asked him when he was last in Ireland, he replied to me"six minutes ago"!!!I was only 16 at the time, now 74 and know now what he means!!

@@johnroarty4077 THE FALKLAND ISLES belong to THE LORD .The English captain John Strong made the first recorded landing in the Falklands, in 1690, and named the sound between the two main islands after Viscount Falkland, a British naval official. The name was later applied to the whole island group. The vast majority of FALKLANDERS are of BRITISH DECENT.
For you John. I miss you every day! Hope you're belting the songs out in Paradise.... like you did when you were here with us.....

@@hildakane9600 I and my roommate toured free Ireland in May 1991 and I was deeply disturbed when our bus driver said children were being taught Irish in schools because their parents no longer spoke their own language anymore. English, which is my native tongue, had become the national language of Ireland.
@@nancysherburne7445 Hi Nancy, yes the Irish language is taught in schools, unfortunately it's not spoken enough, but certain parts of Ireland are Irish speaking. We are still trying for a United Ireland 🇮🇪 I hope someday our language will be spoken just like the English language. Love from Ireland, have a lovely day my friend ❤
@@nancysherburne7445no one in their right mind calls the republic of ireland 'free ireland' you 15th generation americans need to stop this nonsense
@@user-ub5qp8sq1w I'm not Irish but to me, there is Northern Ireland under the British government. Then there is free Ireland ruled by the Irish government. This was perhaps in a jovial way expressed in the song The Orange and the Green where the two parts of Ireland lie under different rules. If you said something I disagreed with, I would hope to tell you in a more civil style.
God Bless LONDON
The Valley of Knockanure is my favorite Wolfe Tones song. Anyone listening to this needs to check that one out next.
I had the "luck of the Irish" to have heard the Wolfe Tones sing when i was in Ireland!!

Love the wolfetones I am listening to them since I was a child
I remember 38 years ago when my husband and I and were graced to have visted Ireland. I became captivated with the culture, the music, the beauty of this country. I finally realized and appreciated that I was 25 %Irish. I love the stories that my grandmother told me about the county her parents were from in Ireland. When i wanted to play the violin at nine years old, with no encouragement from my parents, my grandmother was not surprised- "you have Irish blood, of course you are going to want toplay the violin." My trip made me proud that I have Iriah blood in me- I only wiah I had more!!!!
Tanks too them. A nation once ...
25% is more than enough it makes you one of us .👍🍺☘
