I see the corps of drums plays the regimental march once entering the castle and also back when entering the barracks, back in 1979/80 when dismounting the guard the pipes and drums would play st Patrick's day, but if we were dismounting with the corps of drums they would play the sash as we entered the barracks.
thanks you for the fantastic coverage of the march today! I loved their choice of march music!
It is a lovely pick!
Did I hear the sash in there.
I certainly heard the Sash! 😊
Fantastic video mate! Great selection of Irish tunes!
Thanks Delvin! Love ‘the Irish guards’
@@ArmedForcesVideos7 You're very welcome mate! Same! Great march! Very Irish!
Merci pour cette belle video du changement de la garde à Windsor.
Marches:
Star of county down/The sash
Hezelmere
Mud cabin
St Patrick’s day

The Irish guards
The Kosovo micks
St Patrick’s day

Actually I believe the first March played was a mix of "The Sash" and "The Star of County Down" then followed by Hazelmere and the others listed.
1. "Star of County Down/The Sash" (0:31-2:30)
2. "Hazelemere (2:36-5:02)
3. "Mud Cabin" (5:06-5:47)
4. "St. Patrick's Day" (5:52-6:04)
5. "Galanthia" (6:21-9:25)
6. "The Irish Guards" (9:32-11:25)
7. "The Kosovo Micks" (11:27-12:34)
8: "St. Patrick's Day" (12:37-13:05)

It is old, but it is beautiful!
And the colours they were fine !
I love the Corps of drums. unlike the bandsmen these are active duty soldiers with full military duties, usually as machine gunners.
Fantastic vid mate!
Thank you, lovely marches today!
