      Actually its about Sal Polosi's life as owner of the Sinatra Club & member of the Colombo Family. Sammy The Bull & Gotti never met yet during these years.

    Tommy DeSimone would never of been in John Gotti social club

    • @Rondondemarco
      @Rondondemarco 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Tommy actually used to be in the SINATRA club with Sal polisi. In real life John was scared of him but only people in the *KNOW* would actually know that. Yeah I know eventually he conquered the fear so to speak if you believe John himself put Tommy's lights out. I had an uncle Johnny who went to school with Tommy Desimone and Parnell Stacks Edwards. They were good friends until Tommy disappeared in 79. Tommy was a rare kind of mobster and I'm not just talking about the obvious sociopathic aspects but the unilateral way he moved in the streets as well. He was notorious for hanging with a few factions, of course Jimmy Burkes crew being #1 however he was known to go rogue and do capers by himself and even with and around people like Sal ubats polisi according to my uncle. My unc passed away almost 2 decades ago. Also interesting sidenote about Tommy is that he genuinely was not a racist. Many mobsters were back in the day and didn't socialize with blacks much but Tommy actually hung out with Stacks Edwards alot (the guy Samuel Jackson played in good fellas) and my uncle who was mixed in real life very often as well. They often played cards, pool and darts. Tommy would legitimately lose and burst shot 🥂 glasses on the ground. Ironically it was said that Tommy didn't even want to do the job on stacks but Vario and Jimmy forced him too. According to public knowledge Tommy enjoyed hurting almost anyone so for him to be sooo emotional about Stacks it says alot about his loyalty when actually respected someone which was rare. My uncle had a 🎱 pool hall and a car wash co owned by Sal in the 70s. I recall meeting Desimone twice as little kid around 8 yrs of age at the 🚗 carwash. He was an intimidating person through and through tall mean eyes 👁 🧐 👀 🦉 and quick witted. Dressed super dapper, shiny shoes at all times, drove a custom white and gold Cadillac and was solid like a prize fighter.

      @@mobuppodcast582 No problem. I always noticed that many people were fascinated with him based on his persona in gooodfellas played by Joe Pesci. As a small kid interacting with him and my uncles here and there I never would imagine he would gain people's interest like that and played by such a small man. No disrespect to pesci but he definitely embodied him well. It was almost creepy, his vocal inflection, his abrasive quick 🌡 temperament, even his sick sense of humor. He was a bada Bing bada boom 💥 type of guy in his talking. I remember that well about him. Also note that your perception of him is accurate because he did hate John Gottis guts and called him qn ego maniac so he didn't hang around his presence too often. This low budget movie 🎬 made it seem constant.

    • @Rondondemarco
      @Rondondemarco 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@LuckyC555 Yes truthfully to me he looked moreless 6'3 or 4ish but I was only 8 or 9 just a kid 👀 seeing him around the car wash and uncles pool 🎱 joint so everyone looked larger than life to me then. My uncle was roughly 6ft swole 💪 whereas Tommy towered over him but it's like Henry stated in an interview the real Tommy was very musclar wide wide shoulders, he would have made Joe Pesci look like a small infant if they were side by side. Unc used to say that "Tommy was very skinny when he and my uncle were in school, he had a serious complex so he became obsessed with being physically imposing and dominant by the time that they were in their 20s".
      It sounds kind of goofy but Tommy used to literally drink whole 🥛 milk and do push ups daily.
      He called himself a *k*//ing machine* ...he was a strange dude in person. You could probably look some of this stuff up too but he was apart of a childhood memory for me which is kind of twisted knowing his rep in retrospect but that was the old days era, it was plenty of monsters walking 🚶‍♂️ around freely. This was before Juliani and modern technology halted it for those guys. Tommy was respectful to kids tho so I was safe around him and my uncles truthfully as long as no adults ticked him off while gambling.
