This will be my first of many buffyverse videos, and i will most definitely do more Spangel videos seeing as they aren’t getting the appreciation on facebook that they deserve.
It has been almost 10 years since i’ve been doing this so bear with me.

They are brothers. I don’t think they hate each other. Spike would follow Angel into any battle. Angel would pick Spike over anybody on his team to go to battle with as would Spike. Spike was the first one to raise his hand when Angel said are you with me.
In vampire terms they are grand-pa and grand-son. Angel created Drusilla and Drusilla created Spike. You can love your grand-pa and find it totally annoying at the same time and vice versa.

I don't think they really hate each other. I see them more like two brothers with very different characters who are constantly competing with each other in everything. Mostly they can't stand each other, but basically they love each other very much
They shouldn't have canceled the show. Season 5 was great. I wanted to see more of Angel and Spike.
Same. Its ironic how its always been Bangel and Spuffy pinned against each other, when for me personally i feel like David and James really shined with this electric chemistry between the two of them that worked so incredibly well. There was so much potential with them as a duo, and it sucks that we only really got one full season of tv that focused on their relationship. It would’ve been brilliant to get a season 6!
Josh even said the 6th season would’ve focused on the brotherly love they have for each other.
Well at this point in the show the actors were getting old and in a show about vampires that don’t age it’s difficult to keep it going for a bunch of seasons.

Holy fucking Hell. I just got done crying over Supernatural ending soon and was trying to cheer up watching Spike and Angel funny moments. An like an idiot I clicked on this video out of curiosity and "So were we once upon a time" had me burst into tears again.
This is television for me, these two great characters/actors embody entertainment

Destiny is my favorite episode with them two together.
Angel finally got a taste of the truth of what he did to Spike.
He always looked down on Spike and Dru with self righteous disgust but never once apologized to either of them for what his demon did to them to pervert them and make them monsters after they were turned.
Like Spike said...Dru turned him, but Angel made him a monster.
Both Dru and Spike were anomalies with special abilities before they were turned. Those abilities were enhanced and exercised well when their demons took over their bodies and their souls left.
All four were the proteges of a powerful ancient vampire's bloodline, the Master.
The chip muzzled Spike's demon and helped the echoes of William resurface to the forefront. It was so powerful that the trauma of attacking someone he loved, made him go fight for his soul back to become a man again.
Druscilla was a natural clairvoyant and William was an empath. It explains why she picked up on him after he bumped into them in passing.
And Angelus took delight in twisting them both in the head.
Angel had his special moment with Darla after she was brought back, in which she some what apologized to him and he looked out for her soul in the end, before she lost it again with Dru and while having his baby.
Both the other 2 members of the Fabulous Fanged Four should have gotten apologizes from him too. Imo.
I never liked Cangel and I tolerated Bangel at first, until I saw how much more suited for Buffy was Spike especially after his resouling.
With Buffy and Angel it just gave off teenage over dramatic love where everything is the end of the world if they can't be together.
Your first love always holds a special place in your heart but it rarely lasts long after high school.
Plus it was a little creepy...
She was a grown woman when her and Spike hooked up, plus even older than that when she developed mature feelings for him in the end when he got his soul back to become a worthy man.
Season 5 of Angel is my favorite because of the "lightning in a bottle" dynamic of David and James' chemistry of how well they played off each other's acting. You really got a sense of a competing big/little brother dynamic who can't stand each other.😂
Yes, I agree but then I don't. lol To an extent anyway... Everything you said is almost exactly how I feel but when it comes to Bangel, I still think they're end game. Sometimes those powerful first loves do last beyond high school or most importantly, if they did break up they can reconnect and find each other again sometimes. And I could definitely see that reconnection with them (i.e. Sabrina and Harvey, yes I went there 😅).
However, I do feel Spike was a better match for Buffy at times. It certainly got more adult and mature after its destructive sexual origins. Both relationships has pros and cons. Spike was so cool, sensitive and generally not that different ensouled or not, but just evolved more. Honestly, I couldn't have chosen if I was Buffy, I loved them both so much!
Spike and Angel together as a duo is just the greatest sibling/family rivalry. Their chemistry is palpable! But also since they're vamps, Angel is also kind of his grandpa or something. 😜 So I also sort of saw a father-son type of relationship too.
Also, I have to say this because I always felt like if we could have Spiffy or Spuffy, whatever, I wanted and probably would've preferred "Fangel" the most. Faith and Angel!
I love there dynamic and I agree even when they that hated they love each deep down

There should have been a season 6 so we could have more of those 2. Its obvious they care for echother. And i think Angel would have been the perfect person to show Spike how to trully fit in the world as a Vampire with a soul and do good. He could have helped discover himself at a hole other level. Like he did with Faith.

Faith is the Spike of all Slayers. Angel sees this and used her for good this time. He knows potential when he sees it. That’s why he refused to kill her. He wants to make up for what he did to Spike
