I just made this and I love that I could make it out of scrap fabric! The only modification I made is to make the channel for the phone wider after it was assembled, so it would be more stable. I used a zipper foot to squish the filling out of the way to make a 3/4" channel.

I just made one from scrap fabric for a friend, and it looks so cute! In stead of poly filling I used tiny bits of scrap fabric that I have lying around in a bag here. Thanks for this great tutorial!!

I've made 5 of these but changed the measurements to 12.5" inches for length, and when drawing the two lines, I measured 1" from the bottom and then 6/8s for the second line. I find this gives more room for the phone to sit comfortably.

Good tutorial. Have made something similar. I find your music chive a bit irritating and distracting from your content however!

Hi Carolynn, thanks for the kind words.
As for the music, I can't change it once the video is uploaded, but you can turn it off as there is no talking. Thanks for the remark

I love it. I'm going to make it. I'm a beginner but you made it look easy.
I was wondering what the little loop is for. I don't know how to make loops so I was thinking I would leave that off if it's not needed.

You can leave it off. It's just a piece of ribbon folded in half. It's a handle that doubles as cable holder. Cheers!
