    As believers, we should NOT be shaken by world events. We should rejoice that the Word is true and our Lord Jesus is coming. Social media, friends, family, and governments stoke fear to control you. Ignore all that and let the Holy Spirit guide you into His peace.

    Thank you for your encouragement Pastor Paul! I'm afraid for so many things of God and often feel like I'm going to be sent to Hell because it's so hard to stop sinning completely. All the little sins we commit because of our mood and whatnot. These make me feel condemned often.

    I believe this verse in Genesis ends the debate over the timing of the rapture. 🙌🏻

      Which verse in Genesis ends the debate over the timing of the rapture? and what is that emoji?

    • @temimakinde2377

      I think they mean the verse in which Abraham has an exchange with God...and the debate on whether Christians will be raptured before or during God’s outpouring of wrath in the end times? I imagine that they believe the debate is ended because God has said to Abraham that if one righteous person remains in a nation, He will not bring about the end of it...But that’s just me guessing what they could be talking about
      Now as for the emoji, this I can confidently say means “hands raised in praise” lol

      @@msrhuby Not sure how they were using that emoji. But I use that emoji to "give all glory to God", thus the hands pointed up.

    It strikes me as supremely ironic how people can't reconcile a loving and JUST God honoring their decision to not put their faith in Christ who is the ultimate way out of that separation from God eternally. They think that God should love them, which He does but completely neglect the price that salvation cost. They don't want to go to hell but they also don't want to put their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. They somehow think they can have it both ways.

      No. God does not 'send' anyone to hell.

      @@Through-the-Bible yes,I know that people send themselves to hell by rejecting the Gospel..My question should have been,would He hold them accountable if they have a mental illness that limits their understanding of the Gospel?My daughter has autism and schizophrenia and in many ways,has the mind of a small child,though she says she believes the Gospel

    • @Through-the-Bible
      @Through-the-Bible  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We can rest in the knowledge that God is good and as Abraham said, "will not the judge of all the earth do right!" We don't have to know all the details or all His ways, we know He will do right! Praise God that your daughter believes the good news about Jesus!
