Thank you so much for all you do. I'm a breast cancer survivor, and I have a faith-based support group where I share a daily devotion. We've been covering Psalms, and I needed a little help digesting and dissecting this passage. I've been praying for a passage like Psalm 71 for 2 reasons. I lost both my mother and my father, and as a breast cancer survivor I worry about leaving my children behind at an unnatural time in their lives. It's hard for ANY child to lose a parent, but especially to lose a parent when they're still children or barely adults. THIS is the passage I'm leaving behind for my children to read, if they ever feel like I or their father are no longer around they ultimately have GOD AND they've had him with them from before their births.
Dear Christine Lewis, I too lost both my parents when I was young. Now when I look back I see God's hand in my life. He is a Father to the fatherless. Now I am not afraid of anything because I know God is in control of my life and I can rest in Him.
Thank you Pastor, when our love for God becomes greater then our problems that is when we are excited to go forth and do the many things God needs done! Great teaching!
Oh! Hallelujah ❣Rewarding best ever anointed teaching! Unexplainable the exciting experience here..I go away knowing I have been with the Lord..Can't wait to hear more..I smile when it's time to study with you and the presence of God as I take in all being taught! Love this psalm. Thanks for sharing what God has revealed to you. You pulled out many things that didn’t stick out to me at first...Especially the challenge of v18.
