      Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it =) I fully agree, it's incredible how far Flight Simulators have come. And looking at the trailer of the upcoming MSFS2024 it'll get even better! Thanks, I think I just spend way to much time in simulators😅

    Great landing and roll out. I love flying in and out of Guy's airport. I fly the FR Spitfire and she sure is tippy on the ground. Once you master her on the ground she is a dream in the air.

      Thank you very much! Me too, it's one of my favorite airfields in the sim. A nice grass strip, beautiful landscape, a lot of vintage aircraft...what's not to like =) That's true, it sometimes feels like the oleo struts could use a bit more pressure. I agree, especially the Seafire is very nice to fly, closely followed by the Mk.V.

      @@vintagesimulations Burning Blue Design really nails it with their airfields. I like Old Warden and Solent too. I flew a bunch out of Goodwood lately for some D-Day content after they asked if I wanted to use their scenery in my content. They are great people to work with great scenery. I gave you a sub, surprised I hadn’t seen you before. 👍💪 I ran into frame drops last year and had to drop from 4K to 1080p to prevent the frame drops. I am eyeing the Pacific now with Johnny Propeller’s Midway and Wake Island WW2 scenery and Got Friends Wildcat and Flying Irons P-38. Have you seen Wolfmanslack’s RAF Thorpe Abbotts? I love flying out there and Duxford. Thanks again and keep up the good work! Mike

      @@FlightSimVRDad fully agree! They are probably the best scenery creators out there. Yeah, Old Warden is fantastic! It's great to have the Shuttleworth Collection in the sim now. Other great sceneries by them that I use all the time are Headcorn, Goodwood, Little Gransden and Andrewsfield. I haven't got Solent yet, it's still on the list of airports to get! That's nice to hear that they are great to work with =) I'm always looking forward to new releases by them. Since they have done a few airfields in the US already I'm really hoping to see Old Rhinebeck sometime in the future 🤞
      Thank you very much for the subscription! I also just gave you a sub, C-47s, Spitfire and P-38 videos are exactly what I like =)
      Is your game performing better since sim update 15? Where you able to return to 4k? I feel like the performance overall increased quite a bit, but I still get stutters from time to time.
      That sounds like a good idea. It would suite the Wildcat and P-38 perfectly. Two other great candidates for videos there would be the Corsair and Hellcat.
      Thanks for the tip, I wasn't aware of the Thorpe Abbotts scenery! Thank you Mike! And please also keep up the good work! Fabian

    Really good flight, my favourite virtual airfield Compton Abbas, I must try a circuit in the Seafire Mk III.

      Thank you very much =) It really is! I think it's probably Flight Replicas best airplane in MSFS so far.

    Forgot to ask - what tracker you use and what editing/recording software you use ? - the public views are terrific !

    • @vintagesimulations
      @vintagesimulations  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don't use a tracker at the moment, it's all done with the mouse. Which is why the video can be a bit clunky at times. I use OBS Studio for the video recording and VSDC Video Editor for the editing. To record the flight, I use the Flight Recorder available on flightsim.to. After finishing the flight, I use the recording for the takeoff & landing views and the ground view. The ground view can be set up with the in game showcase camera.
      Thank you very much! I've been an airshow fan all my live, and it's an attempt to showcase the airplanes in a realistic setting, so I'm glad to hear you like the viewpoint =)

    Hi, what program do you use to record the video inside the simulator so you can scroll the replays in it ?

    • @vintagesimulations
      @vintagesimulations  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, I'm very sorry for the late response! I use the freeware Flight Recorder available here: flightsim.to/file/8163/flight-recorder It's a really useful and easy to use tool. Just make sure to start and stop the recording with a running engine, otherwise it'll replay the flight with the engine off.
