I have a live persimmon I have access to, how large a diameter tree did your bow come from?

That bow was made from a board that I had bought, so I don't know. A tree that is about 3'' in dia. or bigger would work just fine, as long as it's straight grained and doesn't have a lot of knots.

@@yonderoutdoors Sounds like I have a winner then, I got a 8" diameter, about 10' long. I might get a couple good staves
