I made it very clear to the client that I have never installed one of these fences, and I was able to figure out that the instructions had the wrong measurement on them so I acted accordingly change we needed to be changed, and it came out perfect
Little tiny heart? I have been a part of some very big projects. In no way am I the smartest contractor out there or the most skilled but I will not leave a project if it is not done properly.
Do they only post about their failures? Because I always like to know how professionals mess up at times too but it seems everything I see from them is a woops moment. Its kind of making me sad.
That's a pretty sketchy fense design. I hope the panels are not just held vertical by being pinched by sheet concrete. Couple sledgehammer hits and panel is down. Wood fence would be stronger.
I love when the “professionals” I hire have to rewatch a video and call customer service
Right. Lmao
Even worse, you pay “independent contractors” and they don’t know what ‘on center’ means 🤦🏻
@@izakl4115 😂 the measurements were wrong on the plans bud

@@DIYCoachCo Apologies if that was the case. Seemed like an obvious on center measurement mess up with the dimensions you stated.
That’s what Happens when you don’t pay a professional
There's nothing unprofessional going on in the video, there's no need to be such an asshole
It turned out great
To know the manufacturer screws up their own product?
When you hire the lowest bidder
He actually does quality work👍
@@stonewallis4373 thank you
It was actually hourly 70 bucks an hour
@@DIYCoachCo exactly, cheapest bid
Center to center on the posts
Exactly what I was thinking. LoL
And that’s what I did
I don't touch products that I haven't used before as this can happen lol
Same unless you get the materials on the job first so you can see what is going on lol
@@makmar4484 we set the posts to the size of the plans. The plans were wrong so I act accordingly and made it work.
😂 how does this make sense? Doesn’t sound like you do much of anything if you won’t do anything unless you’ve done it before
I always get a licensed professional🤦🏻♂️, this is not a DIY project although your little tiny heart wishes it was.😂

Unfortunately, the mess ups get the views
You didn't measure center on the posts.
Yes I did
Measure your panels next time before you set
You would think that would be common sense.
Someday you guys will post a video of how something went right.
Wait, wait, wait, they really TH-camd how to do this type of fence? 😂😂😂 Smfh

“We watched the instructions again” dear god
Whole comment section is full of contractors I see!
9ft center-to-center not from post to post😢😢😢😢😢
Isn’t them recording this just a big liability in court
No
You didn't account for the 3 inch post
I sure did
Oak mesa
Ide be getting something paid for…
Botched
At a guess 2 uprights per post
No, They measured them from post to post, not from the center of the post, to the center of the other post.
Wrong column pieces?
They measured from post to post instead of measuring dead center of the post to dead center of the other post.
1.25 yd for a basket ball hoop!
He was definitely distracted, that smile
