You're likely going to have to pull the hanger again and drill out the venturi in the return to allow for more flow. Your base pressure wont be anywhere near the base of 43.5 psi. The jet is too restrictive for a walbro 450. To give you an idea of how restrictive my OEM lift pump to the surge tank with the surge tank pump off would still supply 50psi to the rail. At idle. Could drive around on it too. Drilled it out and now theres nearly none. Believe I drilled it out with a 7/64 bit.
I would not hard wire the pump in. Theybwaybyouve done it is just fine. You get to utilize the 9v mode on the evo so reduce wear and noise from the pump. It will supply full voltage once boost and load are high enough. I have my walbro 450 (274) in the trunk in a surge tank. Full voltage all the time and its audible. Im just using the OEM tank pump as a lift.
@@rowanlewisuk I bought a brand new kit car and i was going to build it over a year maybe more. But the first lock down made me hammer it. Its a 1.8 turbo mx5 mk indy. It should be road legal for Christmas. Cant wait to get out and use it.
Can u please help man my car will start and will stay on if I rev it but the car won’t stay running it’ll sound choppy and turn off and I think it’s low fuel pressure how can I fix it
@@Sup_Evox yes I did so the fuel pump was actually installed the correctly. The thing that was causing my car to turn off was the big ass intake a put on before I did the fuel pump and it was choking the car

@@michaelford1383 Sounds awesome would oove to see it
dont forget the FPR and a high flow fuel filter
You didn't drill out the pickup orifice?
Are going to be changing the clutch packs?
What size injectors will you run ? I’m not sure if you mentioned it I probably missed it
Yeah it was a few videos ago they are id1050cc injectors
Can you hear the fuel pump priming with the key in on position?
No it only makes a noise when running at 12v
@@rowanlewisuk I sent you something on your instagram maybe you can help me, thanks in advance

@@Itachlazcano21 nice I’m doing mine rn it was having the same problem hopefully works 🤞🏼
@@Sup_Evox what has it been doing ? I can help
dont forget high flow injectors or if they will flow enough fuel get the cleaned
Yeah got bigger injectors here mate
@@rowanlewisuk dont forget a faster fuel pressure regulator
First!
Lol one pump will not make 800hp
