What a great place. I'd not be there without a street howitzer and not just for crocks. People are scarier than crocks in places where no one can see. Love to see where you all go.

I have to say, being eaten by a croc just sounds horrific. I was truly scared for you guys. Why haven't Ausies come up with some sort of croc deterrent or alarm? Maybe something as simple as a motion sensor alarm. Amazon sells small alarms you can put in your yard that have both a light and a siren that are triggered by a built-in motion sensor. They are even solar powered. You should place a few of those around your tent at night along paths where a croc might try and sneak up on you. It might even scare off some would-be human predators. Just a thought...to keep Fran safe.😉
8:50 No need to be alarmed. That croc is named Freddy he is one of the founding crocs of the GCAA or Good Croc Association of Australia. They protect travelers, beach goers from "dangers from all quarters land or sea" as their motto claims. I can tell its Freddy by the ridges by his left nostril.

I gota comment on those Crocodiles,, they are so cunning and i can feel the fear Jack is feeling through my laptop,, ! How he has kept his eyes on them and followed them just waiting for them to enter the ocean,, OMG,, . Crocodile attacks happen to people with a lack of knowledge of there behaviour and Jack is very switched on to there behaviour, . I loved the Great Adventure and am loving it again .
If I had Fran, fishing would be my second favorite thing to do. 😉😁

It is a coconut crab eating the coconut, doing a hole, as they do in other islands of the Pacific, Vanuatu for example.
I am addicted to Stick and Fran adventures and so wish I could be there myself but unfortunately I have to live vicariously through you guys. It sounds like you and Fran are hinting about starting a family. That would be another great adventure. Like "Swiss Family Robinson". Babies are natural swimmers so you will have more happy and good times on your travels. Fran is a beautiful woman and you are a fun guy to be around when I watch your podcast.

@@michaelhermans4753 Gator legs have a chicken texture and flavor (seasoned)... But the tail tastes like pork chops. Was curious about croc, since they go in saltwater as well as fresh.

I sure wish the opportunity to have adventures like yours was available when I was a young fella but it wasn’t there were no options to make money and have adventures if you weren’t rich already it just wasn’t possible of course now I’m to old but I’m sure I would have loved doing what your doing especially if I had a partner like Fran she just seems like she’s so much fun as a partner

Will a crocodile attack a human unprovoked? Do you have a means to protect yourself from them? I have read that a mixture of amonia and human urine will repel them. It would certainly repel me... 🙃
