To be honest, I quit smoking because of her. Not because I'm afraid of getting cancer, but to respect those who are fighting. Thank you for inspiring people around you. Rest in peace Sophia.
No Surprises I did too. Not because of her specifically, but yeah, because I read so much about lymphoma (someone that used to go to my college has died from it) and it had shocked me so much, there are people going through so much pain and suffering and hope and sometimes they don't make it.. And I have healthy lungs and I poison every cell in them everday. It's bizzare.
Congrats to you both! I think Sophia would be happy that her work to raise cancer awareness has also encouraged others to be hralthier! I know you said it wasn't specifically for her, but she was trying to raise awareness for everyone with cancer, not just herself. Congrats!!!
I am gutted to get the news .. life really is so unfair.. I am lucky to be fit at 45 .. along the way I have missed so many possible accidents with morbike and at work... Anemia ect... But here I am.. just lucky.
Some people I know are so nasty and never miss a opertunity to harm mentally and physically.. I wonder why there is a complete oppersit .. we only have one go in life.. Sophia didn't get much of a chance and same to many more.. life is precious. What a shame to the young girl.

Anyone who said or wrote those things about Sophia should be ashamed. She was literally DYING & people were heartless enough to say she was ignoring her "fans" because she'd "made it." Have you no common sense? Have you no decency? Have you no heart?! To make a girl in the last days of her life cry & feel so bad is unforgivable.
People can be terrible. So sad she had to even think about that toward the end.

I first discovered her videos in May of 2018, just after my dad passed away from cancer. It hit me very hard and I'm still sad even now in 2023, He passed just 2 years after being diagnosed, so it was fairly quick despite all the treatments and surgeries, radiation, chemo. It was devastating to see him go from a big strong man to bed bound just before he passed. But even up til the last night he was alive, I still felt safe, he was always my Hercules. I guess I was looking for some kind of connections after that to help me with my emptiness. 🥲
You can see the Drastic change in her weight and facial structure. Rest In Peace you Beautiful rose ❤️😭

Sophia ended up winning the Shorty award and passed away 1,5 month later on June 1st 2018. Her beautiful soul will always be remembered. I’ve been following her for a long time and she’s had such a positive influence on not just my life, but on thousands of people’s lives. In honor of Sophia’s beautiful spirit, be kind to someone today. Do something good. Do something selfless. She was such a pure and selfless soul. She will forever be missed.💗

i followed her for a long time, such a sweet girl...
The fact she felt the need to confront ugly nasty comments in one of her last ever appearances makes me angry. That is not fair to have to deal with all of that and have people assuming crap that they have no evidence of. Sick of those types destroying others good days, we only have so many of them and if you choose to take that away from a person you are committing evil action. It is stealing time and happiness.
Those who cannot create light will try to take it from those people who can.

Don’t worry no one is exempt and when they go through something and need a shoulder to lean on or someone to bring them a glass of water they will still be foolish enough to wonder where the shoulder is and where the glass of water is. People dig their own holes in their lives. She is beyond blessed now no more worries pain suffering tears fears sickness picking probing surgeries or temporary fixes.

I've been blessed how I'm 33 years old and the closest person I've ever lost was a grandparent. I take life too much for granted, almost as if I'm immortal. I should appreciate ever single day I get to experience and all the people I get to experience it with ❤

How do you know for sure she’s in a better place?
For these people to make nasty comments to a teenage girl who was on her death bed... they are the scum of humanity. No one should've blamed her for not updating, she was dying, and died a few months later in fact. This girl was the true definition of strong. Even while she was facing all of these horrible circumstances, ones that caused her to burst into tears, she still wanted to have a wonderful life. And all these people could think about was themselves. I hope people take a good look at themselves in the mirror and ask themselves if that was worth it.
But, to honor her wish in this video, I will end this on a positive note So Fia, you were an inspiration to many people, and though I watched this video at the very last day of January 2020, you have helped encourage people who do have Cancer to chin up and get out their and live life as best as they can. Though I myself have never been affected by cancer personally outside of losing my grandfather to it, I can tell it isn't an easy life, and to take the good with that degree of bad is no small feet. You must've been an incredible person, and a gift from God to this earth. May you rest in his embrace and enjoy your eternal life with him! Who knows? Maybe I'll meet you someday in the far future. I look forward to it. :3

I've just discovered Sophia. What a beautiful child. I'm just heartbroken. What an amazing inspiration she is for those who struggle with disease.
This breaks my heart. Honestly in tears right now. I had cancer at 17. I’m 23 now. Been in remission 5 years. Just feeling the pain in her voice. Because of all the pills, treatments, and everything. It doesn’t wear down only your body but also your mind. It wears you down mentally n just feeling how hurt she is by people making negative comments it got to me because I know how hard it could be. When going though that your mind n body is kicking you while your down. Other people jumping in with negativity doesn’t help at all. When you see people going through this know that they are fighters. They fight everyday, don’t think they go through what they go through for attention. They go through it hoping for a better tomorrow. Be a person who puts a smile on their face because it may be the only time they smile that day. You never know that one smile could end up meaning the world to them n keep them going through the day. Don’t bring them down. Don’t make them sad. Cancer beats you down enough as it is.

The way she claims her self after getting pain it's increadible. She was so strong. RIP
I am ashamed of myself. I contracted cancer 4 years ago. Rather than fight and get stronger, I chose self-pity and starting drinking heavily. This lasted years and I finally did get sober. Seeing this young beautiful lady share her journey, her thoughts and treatments for millions to see, makes me feel like a coward. Cancer is very serious, and I want to encourage others to not hide like I have but stand tall and fight hard. I am not a religious person, but this is the closest to a true angel I have ever seen.
Please be kind to yourself. Going through a terrible illness is always scary. We are only humans. We learn along the way.
Stay strong and keep fighting for your health and people like Sofia.

every so often this brave girl pops into my head and I come to this video and watch it all over again. It feels almost as if she never really left. It pains me to see how much pain she felt and the nasty comments she had to deal with not long before her death. For me, it's not the dying that scares me, it's what one goes through when they do. Back in 2011 I had die twice once at home and again at the hospital. I remember parts of what I had seen while being in another spirital world and I believe I was standing outside of Heaven just admiring some of the things like flowers, beautiful flowers. Green grass, beautiful big trees and people who had gone on from years ago. I wanted to stay but of course it wasn't my time yet. But the time I was there, I had not once was thinking of my family and friends, I was all caught up of the moment what I was looking. Back on earth I was told that they had me on a life machine keeping or helping my body to breathe. Then I realized I was back in my body as I was hearing people talking in the hospital room where I was at. Even remembering hearing different people talking into my ear. I couldn't move, I couldn't open my eyes for I was in a coma and it was 3 days being in a coma. I wanted to open my eyes and try to see who was talking. I was awake but yet I felt like I was paralyzed because in my mind I tried everything I could to open my eyes. So I was talking back to those who was talking to me only in my mind. My mind was working fine, no problems there. Then on the third day being in the hospital I woke up had my eyes open looking around the room. You might say how I died twice, I was prescribed with some wrong medication that nearly killed me. Well in a way it did killed me but at my home where it happened, the paramedics had to stab my heart with a needle to get it to beat again. And white at the hospital on the second day they wanted to see by any chance I could breathe on my own so they took me off the breathing machine and about 2 or 3 breaths I stopped and flat lined so they had to start back up the machine. That was 10 years ago all that happened to me. Just to think that if I hadn't came back to my body and stayed in heaven, I would have been dead for 10 years. So saying all that, dying is nothing to be scared about. Yes it's true our body will one day die but we will still live on in our new spirital body. I didn't see God and didn't see Jesus but Angels I did seen without wings. The only way into Heaven is through Jesus Christ. Make that call on asking him to come in you heart and your life. While you still have breath in your body called upon him. I apologise for such a long message I wrote. I myself hate reading long messages so I understand if you don't. I felt I needed to tell my story here. Again, to So Fia may she rest in peace.
Yes I find that accepting the inevitability of death is very important to find peace while you age. It is, however, very scary to think about what one may be put through before the body finally shuts down. In August of 2020 my appendix finally ruptured after it had been inflamed multiple times over the course of 4 years following stressful days, I have no idea why it kept on coming back to the point where it did rip. Pain upon pain, I went to the hospital and they removed my appendix and while I did feel good right afterwards again and have never had a similar experience since it felt terrible that I could've technically died from peritonitis as a youth. The pain was incredible, nothing much faces me anymore when it comes to pain since I experienced that but to imagine that someone with a terminal illness might have to go through such misery for days on end, make it weeks, unimaginably cruel. It is this, also, what makes it almost impossible for me to believe in higher power such as God, as how would he let someone experience this level of non-ending suffering? It's easy to say "god always has a plan" and what not when you're looking in from the outside. There are so many channels now similar to So Fia and cancer rates are at an all time high, I've been studying a book on illness and disease from 1980 and cancer treatment back then was at the same level that it is now, there is no develolment at all, it's sad. But let's not stress about it too much, make sure to treat your body well, after all it is all that we have.

People really do hate on people with cancer, I had it a few weeks ago with my vlog, I vlog my incurable/terminal cancer story daily and people can be very very cruel! I am very sick, but have no time for hate against anyone, I gave Sofia a raving review last night on my page as so many people are inspired by her, me included. The world needs more love and peace, not this hate breeding people show these days :) I am so glad pages like this exists thought to show the beauty of the world :)

Her eyes told all the suffering she couldn't put into words. They still were brighting for some moments when she told about her award. She was so aware of it all, and still was very proud. I can't understand how it's possible to go through all this at only 16. Sickness steals too much, and people are only able to throw you their cruelty and make you feel even worst, until you prefer to stay alone to cool your pain. She was incredibly strong and brave until the very. We should have more emphaty and kindness for each other. :(

She was defeated here because she knew she was going to die. Her body had already given up and she gave up with it. This isn't AT ALL the personality and positivity she was known for. But it's okay to be melancholy like this. She still had the courage to get on and make this last video. She's clearly sad and distraught but she pressed on like a champ. It just sucks that people so young have to lose their lives like this.
