I don't understand how anyone can let their cars get this dirty! I go insane when I get any sand or dirt on my floor mats..much less food or garbage! I cherish the money I spent on my vehicle too much to let it get that disgusting! Great job as always! I could watch your videos all day!
Gosh, it looked like a kid had exploded in there - hair, snack crumbs, mysterious sticky stains and all! Really impressed at how well the carpet came up given how soiled it was. Not surprised it took 15 hours! Another fantastic job Mitch.
I think that the lease was up and it was cheaper to get a full detail than what the dealer would charge if they saw that mess. I just feel bad for the next person who buys this car. Hopefully they will never see that video.
85k miles in 2 years basically means you live in the car and travel full-time for work. Probably just not a lot of time to destress and actually clean your shit.
I’ve seen way worse in my experience as a detailer…this is a average dirty car. At most would take 2-3 hours for the interior due to the dirt and crumbs being loose and most of it needs a quick vac and that’s it. The plastics aren’t bad either.
I’ve been watching your videos for years. It has been incredibly cool to watch how your business has remained as amazing as when you started, but you present yourself much more like a content creator now. Thanks for the years of satisfying cleans!
Hey Mitch, i'm a long time subscriber and fan of your work. I recently started what I'm hoping will be a career in detailing for a Dealership owned by a young guy also named Mitch LOL. I went ahead and joined your membership for those behind the scenes and of course Mike updates, but also to reach out and say thanks for all the content you share with us. I come home each day and spend a bit of time watching your videos and rewatching my favorites like the shop videos and quick fixes learning more each time and adding some tips and tricks to my collection I use at work everyday. I see things you do differently and usually end up trying them out for myself and finding more efficient ways to tackle new untis coming in everyday. If it’s in that means ( hopefully) they didn’t throw it out the window. Their personality might be messy but not selfish .High end cars go by here leaving trash on the roadside all the time bet those cars are pristine inside

@@joerez5172 I drive a 1999 Citroen Saxo (I live in Belgium) and it has 137,000 km on it and I have owned it since I moved here in 2015 and no it has NEVER looked like that, smelled like that or anything closely resembling it. I am sure you do the same. You take care of what you own.
@@graceparker7003 this has motivated me to get my children involved in cleaning my cars. I don't ever want to have the excuse of being to busy to clean my cars. If I get busy I will have them do it.
Its really not hard to grab a plastic bag from the drawer and use it as a bin.. everytime i see this, i still get confused on how this comes to what it is
They need the self awareness to not be absolute slobs and ignore something they paid $50,000 for😂😂 some people just weren’t raised knowing how to clean themselves or their surroundings

Might I suggest a cyclone separator between your vacuum and the vehicle. There are a bunch of simple and cheap ones sold both online and in stores like Home Depot. Effectively they use centrifical force to dump all of the debris both small and large into a bucket while permitting mostly clean air to return to the vacuum itself effectively eliminating the job of having to clean out the vacuum itself and you can continue cleaning with almost no loss in performance regardless of the size of debris.
Mitch always does the best job detailing any car. You never know what’s going on that someone can’t clean their car or get it to a detailer, but he never judges them! Wish I lived in Canada so he could get my truck detailed.

Would it be safer to spray it directly onto the cloth and wipe it down? @13:36 2) Do you get the roof of the vehicles? Mitch, thank you for the content you put up, you along with some other detailers have helped me get some amazing results when cleaning mine, my wife's and friends cars, my latest was my wife's old 2010 Renault Clio mk3 which we're going to list for sale, the interior looks absolutely spotless (wasn't near as bad as most of the cars you do) and the outside is getting done today to get it listed for sale, hoping to get a bit more for it with it being so clean 😁
Great job Mitch, there are so many things/details that you do off camera that I'm not surprised at how long it took. I worked as a detailer in the good old days and it would take me a whole day to prepare a new car for the showroom, the cars had a coating all over to prevent rust during sea freight, we used kerosene to remove it before washing and polishing with inferior products to what you have. It was a hell of a job. Glad you have a superior workplace and cleaning products, cheers!!!🥰💕👍👍💪
I'm surprised on the carpet quality how easily that hair came up. In my Fiesta if I get any hair at all on any of the carpet a lilly brush is the only way it's coming out. I kinda expected to see a similar situation since it's also a Ford.
As somebody whose detailed Fords for a while I will say newer style Explorers have some nice carpet. As you mentioned the hair doesn’t really stick to it and gets easily sucked up by the vacuum. Kinda nice for a change haha
Impressed by the amount of miles. I get about 23-25k a year personally because I have a long commute plus a lot of travel for my side business as well.

2021?! It looks like it hadn't been cleaned in over a decade! I thought I let my car get dirty, and my car is 24 years old (bought used), but wow. I get depressed and that's why my car gets a little bit cluttered. I can't imagine ever letting it get to a state like this! That transformation though, perfection.
I have a friend who has a car like this. Same make of car just a different colour, but let me tell you with the 5 or so times I have been in that car it was disgusting, Just like this one it had so much rubbish and just really bad stuff in it, I have wanted to tell them to clean it but if I do it would end with myself in a ambulance on our way the the nearest emergency room. Don’t think I will ever want to have a ride with them for awhile now.

Mr. Geek has done it again! One of these days I expect to see you in a full biohazard suit. I'm far from being a neat freak, but if someone is willing to let their cars get that bad, I can't help but wonder what kind of disaster is their house, or even their personal hygiene! 😱😵 And in other videos people bringing their cars to a detailer without removing their personal things first... including large garbage? How time consuming and effort encompassing is it to grab handfuls of garbage to toss? ...not to mention unmentionables (tampons, etc.)... Good gracious, people are nasty! 🤮🤣

That was a hell of a lot of work. I bet it smelled a thousand times better when you were done too. Looked fantastic. People ask why a detail can cost $500, this level of quality work is why. I have a friend who allows no eating or drinking in his vehicles and his vehicles look immaculate, everything he drives. Eating and drinking in a car really do bugger up a car as does a hair bomb. Exceptional finished product. Bravo.

I know people might cancel me right now, but I wouldn’t judge someone based on the state their car / house / anything is in. The owner of the car could be depressed, or struggling in another way - it’s often mental health issues and difficult life situations that can take up all your energy, so he wouldn’t have any left for cleaning or else. It’s sad, and must have been embarrassing for the car owner to ask for help, so why not try and be kind 🙂❤
I wonder if they ever get turned down in a garage when they go in for service? My sister in law's cars are a mess and she has been turned away until she cleaned out the inside of the car.
I have a few questions (a) - How can you reduce the touching of the chemicals ? It can`t be good to have it on your hands over and over again, over time ? + Why did`t you use gloves working on the outside ? - Why did`t you vaccum and wash the floor undernit before you put back the seats ?
For some people, cars are a large investment, so to allow a car to get in this condition just blows my mind. I have ALWSYS kept any car I had or have in like new condition…don’t like to sit in trash in my house OR my cars.

Gotta give props to ford, car cleaned up remarkably good, especially the interior.. Wish this dude was in my country though, would definitely use you as my detailer
insane! we recently got a Ford as well, ours is a 2017 i believe and even though we got it used it only had 40 thousand miles! our cross country trip pushed it to a little over 50 but still. very lightly used and was taken very good care of. the doors have leather which had a slight tear we repaired, one of the side view mirrors has a little chip taken out of the plastic, and the windshield has a very tiny crack. otherwise it works perfectly ever since we bought it for 30k.
Putting aside your lovely workshop, you impress me by your neat dress and appearance. Also your always using clean rags to finish off. Well done and the best I’ve watched 💖🇦🇺🦘

All that water and steam inside the cars' controls and speakers would definitely cause damage on the long run.

I bought a 91 Explorer in 2004 that had over 200,000 miles on it for only $600 and I never let it get dirty at all.
what is most appreciative, is that well you state that some cars are really disgustingly filthy, but always in a cheerful tone, like lets fix this to new... good content.

2021?! It looks like it hadn't been cleaned in over a decade! I thought I let my car get dirty, and my car is 24 years old (bought used), but wow. I get depressed and that's why my car gets a little bit cluttered. I can't imagine ever letting it get to a state like this! That transformation though, perfection.

I have a friend who has a car like this. Same make of car just a different colour, but let me tell you with the 5 or so times I have been in that car it was disgusting, Just like this one it had so much rubbish and just really bad stuff in it, I have wanted to tell them to clean it but if I do it would end with myself in a ambulance on our way the the nearest emergency room. Don’t think I will ever want to have a ride with them for awhile now.

I'm far from being a neat freak, but if someone is willing to let their cars get that bad, I can't help but wonder what kind of disaster is their house, or even their personal hygiene! 😱😵 And in other videos people bringing their cars to a detailer without removing their personal things first... including large garbage? How time consuming and effort encompassing is it to grab handfuls of garbage to toss? ...not to mention unmentionables (tampons, etc.)... Good gracious, people are nasty! 🤮🤣

That was a hell of a lot of work. I bet it smelled a thousand times better when you were done too. Looked fantastic. People ask why a detail can cost $500, this level of quality work is why. I have a friend who allows no eating or drinking in his vehicles and his vehicles look immaculate, everything he drives. Eating and drinking in a car really do bugger up a car as does a hair bomb. Exceptional finished product. Bravo.

I know people might cancel me right now, but I wouldn’t judge someone based on the state their car / house / anything is in. The owner of the car could be depressed, or struggling in another way - it’s often mental health issues and difficult life situations that can take up all your energy, so he wouldn’t have any left for cleaning or else. It’s sad, and must have been embarrassing for the car owner to ask for help, so why not try and be kind 🙂❤

I have a few questions (a)
- How can you reduce the touching of the chemicals ? It can`t be good to have it on your hands over and over again, over time ? + Why did`t you use gloves working on the outside ?
- Why did`t you vaccum and wash the floor undernit before you put back the seats ?
For some people, cars are a large investment, so to allow a car to get in this condition just blows my mind. I have ALWSYS kept any car I had or have in like new condition…don’t like to sit in trash in my house OR my cars.

insane! we recently got a Ford as well, ours is a 2017 i believe and even though we got it used it only had 40 thousand miles! our cross country trip pushed it to a little over 50 but still. very lightly used and was taken very good care of. the doors have leather which had a slight tear we repaired, one of the side view mirrors has a little chip taken out of the plastic, and the windshield has a very tiny crack. otherwise it works perfectly ever since we bought it for 30k.
Your before and after shots sometimes make me see dirt spots on my monitor I wasn't aware of before. :)
