Alliance Airlines | Fokker 100 | VH-UQF | VA1239 | Brisbane - Rockhampton | Trip Report

Hello everyone and happy new year! Wish you all happiness and good health for 2023. On the 11th of January 2023, I flew to Rockhampton from brisbane on VA1239, which is operated in partnership with Alliance Airlines on their amazing Fokker 100. This flight is sold and managed by Virgin Australia but is an Alliance Crew. It was an Great flight for our total flight time of 1 hour and 8 minutes and being my second time on the Fokker 100, it was awesome to be back onboard my favourite commercial aircraft! Bogan bus for a 787 that’s funny I like that 😂 my last 787 flight with Jetstar coming home from Thailand I had clear air turbulence and the plane dropped a few feat before stabilising a scary 8 hour flight.

Just think you won't have to go to Brisbane and catch a 29yo Fokker to Rocky. You can fly on a new 737 Max with Bonza from M/dore and be there in under an hour. And you are right the engines on the F100 sound a whole lot better and quieter both inside and outside than the old Fokker F28. What a noisey little Fokker those things are.
