Jail and prison aren’t the same thing, and I wish the media would stop using the terms interchangeably.
Many people in jail haven’t been convicted of anything and are just too broke to post bail awaiting trial.
Or they have sentences that are less than 2 years.
Right prison is when the felony’s come to fruition 😂😂
At the end of the day both definitions take a person’s liberty to be free in the community away from them for a period of time as a result of breaking the law.
Then jail is correct. For now till trial is over and then it is PRISON TIME!

I sometimes feel like I did as a kid. My mom warning my sister to stop touching me or she’d be in trouble, “Stop touching/poking//flicking your sister…or you’re in trouble.” And there was never trouble for her. I feel it’s the same thing with trump, “Stop talking about the judge/attorneys/court personnel…or there’ll be trouble.” How many warnings DOES he get exactly? I stopped counting, just like I did as a kid.
That pretty much sums it up. Trump is a childish bully and no one is stopping his insufferable behavior.

Now that Trump is in contempt of court will Fanni Willis take action and have Trump put in jail for violating the terms of his release?
According to another channel Trump likely violated his gag order again in Wisconsin when he was making a speech there.
Judge Chutkan, in the DC trial, could also take action as criminal contempt breached Trump's terms of release in that case. If SCOTUS decides to send the immunity matter back to Chutkan to sort out what constitutes official or personal actions, which could take many months, she could (and I would in her position) jail Trump for breaching his release conditions and keep him there until she is ready to proceed further. That would take him off the campaign trail and work counter to SCOTUS endeavors to delay their ultimate ruling until after the election.

As a litigation consultant you of course know that in many instances regarding the tRumpster, the attorney/client privilege has been waved because so many of his attorneys were allegedly helping him commit alleged crimes, which not just pierces the privilege but pretty much guarantees that one's law license will be revoked as well. OUCH!

@@jerryhummel9476 I don't know which trial you're watching but there has been lots of evidence of criminal activity presented in this case by the lawyers for the prosecution and by subpoenaed witnesses.
Opening statements by both the prosecution and the defense have already occurred, witness questioning is now happening and closing arguments will happen after that.
You may be getting your information from sources favorable to trump if you haven't seen any evidence of crime presented.

How do I put this? It is actually legal to run for president while in prison. In fact, it has been done twice before. What happens if someone wins while in prison? We don’t know because it’s never happened before. The reason it is legal is because the requirements for president are listed in the constitution and nothing forbids it. Obviously the federalists didn’t intend for that but yeah. Either the VP takes over, pardons the one who was actually elected and transfers the role or VP just serves that term. Probably will still pardon him.
So how many of those two candidates running while in prison succeeded in becoming president?

Trump is the Republican nominee and his indictments have actually increased his popularity not decreased it like Democrats were hoping for. Many people said they would still vote for him if he is in prison. He’s leading in the polls in 6 of the 7 battleground states he lost in 2020.
