When he said “and then we’ll have a little hallway here” made me think of deli’s build when she said “I never use hallways, but James always uses hallways”. She was right 😂

Having read this at the very beginning of the video I must say I'm very confused 😅
Such a cool aesthetic on the inside! I'm glad that James really kept the shell intact even though the rules allowed otherwise.
The build is amazing...
but why James feels the need to fit in 3 bedrooms instead of making one of them more living space is beyond me haha. This man must love a challenge on a challenge!

I think all the let's play-ing has warped his brain into the type of simmer who tries to cram as many sims into a space as possible! It's really hard to go back, even just seeing builds with one bedroom confuses me, "how are you gonna fit your whole family in _that?!"_ lol

When you said you weren't going to add any walls I was thinking to myself "I don't think there is any way this will look good" but you've definitely proved me wrong. I really like the style of the house. The upstairs patio looks really nice

I feel like the landscaping for a plumbob house should definitely include the llama topiary. In fact, if it exclusively had llama topiaries that would not be out of place at all!
This was genuinely one of the toughest shells I've attempted. I didn't expect it to be.
This is my favorite of this challenge. I actually really like this house, especially the Batuu floors on the patio!
Batuu has no business having such good floor tiles ngl
I love how the word "ambiance" from the Dine Out Multiplayer LP has now entered James' everyday vocabulary 🤣🤣

I don’t know yet what James does with the rooftop room but I would keep his layout and turn the rooftop room into an art studio or maybe even a small greenhouse 😊❤

My favorite parts of his videos are the "yeah.. *giggle*" every video. Makes me chuckle every time
I turned mine into a beach/spa area in Sulani. I wasn't keen on entering anyway. I just love doing shell challenges for fun.

Once again a learned something I didn't know we could do in the game by watching a James Turner video, lol! I didn't know we could copy a room and then place it somewhere else with the furnishings still in it! I was thinking of that recently when I was building a house, I thought I wish we could copy a room like this, because I had a room, a bathroom too, that I was going to copy layout of the furnishings, but had to do one piece at a time, I thought how I wish I could just copy the other bathroom exactly! Like the way they showed for The Sims 5 sneak peek in October!
Now I will have to try that myself!

Also idk if this is used in Aussie english, but "spark something" is likely in reference to the idiom "to spark an idea" which is basically like giving some inspiration or a prompt to build from. If you already knew this and just didn't make the connection in this video, sorry! I hope it helps someone else who didn't know at least 😊

I did this one I literally cut the sharp corners of internaly so I could actually fit some proper rooms in.
It did just end up as a one bathroom one bedroom house but it still worked well.

I would have gotten rid of the sofa downstairs and put a big dinning table and an island in the kitchen and then made the space upstairs into a big living room with the TV and the couch so it doesn't look so cramped

i would love to challenge you for a build where not even one piece of furniture can be black, white, or wood. they can have them as accents, just not the main focus.

Honestly James. If this house was real I'd live in it. Its kind of a modern futuristic mix. Very homie and cozy vibes. I like it.
