I like how the beerus finisher shows the difference between goku and vegeta with goku firing a beam from below to avoid destroying the planet whereas vegeta fires from above with the intent of causing as much destruction as possible and you can even see the planet all burned and destroyed in the aftermath it shows that even after becoming a good guy vegeta is still the more destructive and blood thirsty of the two while goku is still the most concerned about causing unnecessary damage
Make the bosses so much cooler in the main story if they had these, like the final boss kid Buu would of been sick, and if they had it in the main story, Vegeta vs cell could of had vegeta do the final flash at the end

He was interacting with the Z Fighters and absolutely would've learned of New Namek's location. But in the timeline with future trunks he defeats babadi and Dabura before buu can ever be released. So my point of all this is that goku and vegeta are dumbasses compared to trunks
I think it's less they're both dumbasses and more they have different priorities than trunks Goku and Vegeta prioritize getting stronger and fighting enemies at their strongest, meanwhile trunks prioritizes ending the fight asap
