I mean, Omega Shenron was so strong he was destroying the universe by merely existing, and Gogeta literally couldn't be hurt by him. I wanna see original Broly vs DBS Broly. I feel like OG would have more raw strength/power but less control over it and less ability to use it effectively, so DBS Broly would wind up winning because he'd be able to hold his own in terms of raw power but outsmart OG Broly to get that one real strong hit in that always does OG Broly in.

I really like the subtle difference in the SSJ4 and SSJB Gogeta dramatic finishes against each other. They're not exactly the same; the shots are reversed.
I will say that GT goku is far stronger than normal people think, considering he shook heaven and hell which was the size of a universe, if not two. In BASE. But I'm not gonna sit here and say that GT goku in his base could defeat ssjb. I will say that I personally believe that GT goku could beat ssjb goku, but it'd be a hard fought battle for him. Though if we judge the multiplier for the ssj4 form, ssj4 brings out EVERY bit of power and potential in the user, making them the strongest they could possibly be, due to being a limit breaker form. And in the GT perfect files, it was said that goku's ssj4 could possibly be even greater than super vegito, or basically just a fused ssj of goku and vegeta. Now with that knowledge...if we use that in the super broly movie, ssj gogeta did better against broly than ssjb goku and vegeta combined, and if GT goku's ssj4 is comparable to ssj vegito...then that means that if GT goku and super goku's base forms were the same, ssj4 would've done better than ssjb. TL;DR Basically ssj4 is as strong as ssj vegito or ssj gogeta so ssj4 would've done better than ssjb against super broly.

I will say that GT goku is far stronger than normal people think, considering he shook heaven and hell which was the size of a universe, if not two. In BASE. But I'm not gonna sit here and say that GT goku in his base could defeat ssjb. I will say that I personally believe that GT goku could beat ssjb goku, but it'd be a hard fought battle for him. Though if we judge the multiplier for the ssj4 form, ssj4 brings out EVERY bit of power and potential in the user, making them the strongest they could possibly be, due to being a limit breaker form. And in the GT perfect files, it was said that goku's ssj4 could possibly be even greater than super vegito, or basically just a fused ssj of goku and vegeta. Now with that knowledge...if we use that in the super broly movie, ssj gogeta did better against broly than ssjb goku and vegeta combined, and if GT goku's ssj4 is comparable to ssj vegito...then that means that if GT goku and super goku's base forms were the same, ssj4 would've done better than ssjb.
TL;DR Basically ssj4 is as strong as ssj vegito or ssj gogeta so ssj4 would've done better than ssjb against super broly.
SSJ4 Gogeta is so strong, the only dramatic finish he gets is against himself
