It wears well, looks great, and is frankly exciting to be able to have a GMT function at this-ride point. The micro adjustments on the bracelet have allowed for a very good fit, and the color contrasts are superb. Bravo, Seiko!
@@abuleen7299It is OK, do not worry. You probably have a "K1" version as mine. It means it was assembled in the Seiko factory in Malaysia. The "made in Japan" written on the back case glass is only in "J1" models, assembled in the factory in Japan. They are identical. Maybe the color tones may slightly differ (e.g. slightly darker red of the GMT hand in J1), but it is impossible to note unless you have the two versions one close to the other. My SSK003K1 "Batman" is absolutely stunning.

Hi Teddy! In 2021, I bought my first “real” watch. A Seiko 5 srpd51. A couple of months later, after watching your review, I fell in love with the 1959 Alpinist (spb243) and bought it. Sold the Seiko 5, then, bought a 36mm Omega Seamaster 300. I’m still in love with the looks of the Alpinist and with all the design and story behind the Seamaster, but I can’t deny that the Seiko 5 was the real deal, considering it’s price tag. I mean, it only costs a fraction of what I paid on my two current watches, but it holds up pretty well when compared to them.
I got the ssk005 for Christmas and absolutely love it! Photos never do the orange dial justice. It’s a pleasure to look at in any lighting conditions. And the Lume is insanely good.
Agree, I have the orange dial SRPD Seiko 5. I wear it regularly from last 1 year but everytime I see the dial, it just makes me fall in love with it again.

My brother gifted me the blue version just recently. I have to say that I absolutely love this watch. It looks fantastic. Wears so great I hardly remember I have it on my wrist. This is a fantastic watch!
After the first time I saw one of these watches and I knew I had to have it…Here’s a really helpful tip for people on a budget like me. Macy’s is the absolute best place to buy watches at this price point. I don’t have that much money to spend on watches so I need to get creative. It took me four weeks of watching Macy’s website and occasionally going into the store but I just bought a black Seiko GMT for $200 a combination of an online coupon they email me and an in-store coupon they discounted the watch from the $475 to $200
That is a fantastic price. Cheapest I found is $255. I just checked this watch's price at Macy's, they are selling for $475.00 ..... ouch. No sales yet.
I own one and it's great. But I'd be happy to pay a little bit more if it had: - A click bezel - A sapphire crystal - A screw down crown - A machined clasp rather than pressed steel (and a nice touch would be a pepsi version). This watch is amazing, the ability to track 3 TZ is great, as a pilot i wear it every flight, plus if i scratch it it doesn’t hurt as much as scratching my Breitling.
Just bought this watch today mostly on attractiveness and the first thing I did was research reviews. I'm glad I came across your review as I am now confident I got a great watch. Thanks. Stationed in Japan and just started my collection. Bought a Presage, Prospex, and now this one for my everyday wear!
I own the blue black one myself and I absolutely recommend buying it. The fit is perfect, the bracelet even if everyone says it’s bad for me it’s not bad at all, the clasp is stamped but the quality of the bracelet itself is good enough for the price. Cheers.
Same here. i love the watch but since i'm new to watch especially automatic one, is it ok if i take it regularly when i'm riding a motorcycle? since that's how i travel from day to day and i don't want to ruin my first automatic watch hahaha
I ended up choosing this for my first watch last month, and i absolutely love it! I went for the blueberry. Its got me hook line and sinker into the world of watches.
Bought the orange one a month ago, and bought a orange/black/grey/white nato strap with golden buckles, it matches the watch perfectly. Also caught the attention of some people at my work place. I’m very happy with this addition, definitely recommend 👌🏼
I own this watch from last two months... It is one of the best things I ever bought... It is a beautiful piece of jewelery...still puts a smile on my face everytime I wear it before I go out...
I love this watch! I’ve owned mine for about 5 months and it’s my favorite watch in my collection. It looks more expensive than it is, and the bracelet looks amazing. It’s not the most comfortable bracelet, occasionally pulls on hairs, but it looks fantastic. This very well could be a future classic with a strong resell value like the SKX in the future.
I got the SSK001 last month and I absolutely love it! I switched the bracelet with a Seiko rubber strap. I have several watches in my collection and I reach for this one everyday. Awesome to hear this review from you Teddy! Well done!
I got the SSK003. My first automatic watch. Have been wearing it since. It’s great. I never actually thought I would ever replace my Apple Watch but it did. At first I thought the non click y bezel would annoy me but nope! Wasn’t an issue at all. In fact I can align it at the 12 hour mark perfectly!
I purchased the SSK001 back in January to celebrate a promotion at work, and as an early birthday present to myself. I love it's versatility as I've worn it professionally and casually. It was the only watch that I wore during a recent trip to London, UK and Dublin, IRL. I paired it with a green/red/ black NATO strap from Nick Mankey Designs.
i have one too with the batman/blueberry color. i love the watch but since i'm new to watch especially automatic one, is it ok if i take it regularly when i'm riding a motorcycle? since that's how i travel from day to day and i don't want to ruin my first automatic watch hahaha.
If you love it than wear it, and riding a motorcycle probably helps it. Automatic watches use a freely rotating metal weight called a "rotor" to coil the mainspring which makes the watch tick. The rotor converts a wearer's kinetic energy into the power needed to move the rotor. @@134_dzakyraihanperdanaputr9
Own the orange version, and 'do it all' is a great description. I cannot think of a better holiday watch. Keeping track of home time zone - check. At home in the pool, beach, and even in the evening - check. Affordable, so (drunken) accidental damage is no big deal - check. So far it shows minimal signs of wear, keeps great time, and gets nothing but great comments from friends.
I can't count how many times I have pinched my skin closing a milled clasp bracelet. They look nice and feel more high end but I have some seikos with stamped clasps and I have never pinched skin closing them. So, I'm not mad at them and nobody can even see it when you're wearing it so stamped clasps are not deal breakers for me. I really like these but just grabbed the Timex Q GMT when it came back in stock the other day. Not typically a quartz guy but they just look so sweet. Great vid!
I got the blue/black version when it was made available again. I was so glad that the Seiko representative at Macy’s brought it to my attention. With a great price point, and Macy’s store discount. I had to pull the trigger on this. Making this the first GMT in my collection. Very satisfied with this watch. Appreciate the review, love the channel.
Holly molly what a watch. Just got mine blue ( my first Seiko btw). Picked it up at 9am and wore it all day. Put it in my watch case and the accuracy was spot on. By the second. Pretty impressed by this movement.
I got the SSk003 about 3 weeks ago and I haven’t stopped wearing it. I have a modest watch collection and I was wearing a different watch almost daily but now… I haven’t taken the SSK003 off of my wrist. Absolutely in love with it.
For the price definitely a win. I got the black version this month and it was running +1.5 seconds per day consistently when i wore it 5 days in a row. It is resting in the watch box now until it is again his turn in the rotation. Absolute great buy!❤
This is my first automatic watch I've bought for myself. I love the look of it, wish it had a crystal in the front, but never the less love it. Switch my bracelet to a strapcode bracelet that just looks amazing on the watch. Thank you Teddy for educating me and helping me choose my first watch, I plan to buy more eventually but will be checking your channel before I do so!!
This was my first automatic too! I love the cyclops date magnifier and the lume is insanely good. I agree with you about the sapphire crystal as opposed to the Hardlex. It scratches WAY easier so I’ll have to be careful. Glad you are happy with the watch- cheers!
I got the ssk003 for myself a Christmas and I absolutely love this watch. Perfect alignment wears so well it has dominated all my wrist time I find my self gravitating towards every time I go to my watch box. Absolutely scratched the gmt itch for me
Completely unplanned splurge (tomorrow is my birthday). Went to get two watches battery changed and left with this bad boy! I did eventually want to get a GMT but didn’t know much about this watch. I knew I loved the watch but I left feeling a bit of buyers remorse but couldn’t turn down the discount I received and got it for around $389 USD here in Singapore. THEN I watched so many videos about how great this watch is and felt completely justified! I personally love the smooth rotating bezel without the clicks. I bought the SSK003 and it’s beautiful, comfortable, and with frequent international travel the GMT function will be indispensable. One of the few times I’m glad I was an impulsive shopper!
My old Army roommate got me the SSK001 as a gift when he came back from deployment and it ignited my horological interest to another level. It’s my first legit time piece besides Germans and Casio G shocks I used while I served years ago. I’m saving up for a Pelagos currently, but the SSK001 is a strap monster!!
Picked up a MAMACOO's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Been a fan of Seiko for a while now. I bought the 003 (blue dial) recently. Fantastic watch, looks beautiful and feels great on the wrist. Plus, getting a GMT at this price point is a steal. Highly recommend it.
SSK001 owner here. Love this watch. It's in my daily rotation. Initially had some issues as I was losing ~2-3 minutes a day, and one day, it just stopped. Had to send for repair, but Seiko warranty rocks, and got it back in 2 weeks. Pleased to say the +/- is now in spec. The biggest downside to me is the mineral crystal as with daily wear, one day it's going to scratch, but the bezel is slightly raised, which I think helps, and at sub $500, you really can't have everything, and at sub $500, you are really getting a lot.
I got the 003 when it was released. Love it. I had it on the day I went to buy a new JLC at the AD and the staff seemed more excited at looking at my new GMT than selling me my Master Control!!
I bought the black model and after more than 3 months I do not have any complaint about it. I am very happy with and honestly I selected after checking a video where you talked very nice about these new models of seiko 5 gmt. Thanks Teddy
I recently purchased an SSK003 and my overall thoughts on the watch is that it’s fantastic value for its price point. Yes, if you like a tactile rotating bezel it will leave you wanting in that aspect. But I find the friction bezel to be more than sufficient enough for this piece. I have other GMT’s and wanted one I could travel with and not worry about as well a daily sports piece and this is perfect for that. As well as just a great looking timepiece to have on the wrist. If you go into this watch with an open mind I think you’ll be as happy as I am with it. 8/10 definitely recommend picking one up, especially if you’re on the fence about it.
The 003 is the one that I suspect will be the one that I go for, I was originally tempted by the 005 but I've got a Doxa Sub 300T Professional, and as a 'Beginner' watch collector, one bright orange watch is enough for now, especially as I don't currently own a blue dial (On a semi-decent quality anyway). Really can't beat this Seiko for value for money!
@@GANDALF-ml7ck Hi I already have a Strapcode bracelet for my SKX007 and just used the claps from that one. I think it was 18mm clasp. Sorry I haven't checked the accuracy yet.

I am glad that SEIKO offers 3 new GMT watches. The design is nice and it seems that it is good quality. I have forgotten SEIKO during 10 years. It is time to go back and get a GMT. For an engineer it is difficult tu understand how SEIKO is able to offer nice watches for less than 500 $. I bought 2 cheap SEIKO in my life and i was never desappointed b the performances. Thank you TEDDY.
After watching this video and doing some research, I got the Blue version. It's a great watch and I love it. This is my first mechanical watch and the crystal is much better than other lower budget watches I had. I only had Seiko in mind and bought it at a pretty good deal.
I was initially put off by the polished center links, but found out the JDM black version has an all brushed bracelet. I picked one up from Japan for well under retail, and I love it. Great watch!
@@bevtsen I ordered mine online from Sakura watches. Their prices fluctuate a bit with exchange rate, but they often have great prices on JDM only stuff. I’ve never been to Japan though.
I’ve been working for UK firms since 2016 and had been wanting a GMT watch. Came across this last month and as my first Seiko, couldn’t be happier. I picked up the SSK001 and just got back from London last week. Was awesome to track Chicago/UK time zones while traveling. Great piece.
Literally just bought one. It wears super well and is easy to pair with most outfits/contexts. It's literally the best beater/all rounder you can get at this price range, and it looks good enough for anything short of your own wedding day.
Been watching your videos for a while now and was inspired to start a collection. Started with the AMZWATCH, its specs for price and clean looks, now am looking for a dress watch to add.
Bought the SSK003 earlier this month after waiting for several weeks from different AD. My first GMT watch that became a daily beater since I’m working with clients from 2 other timezones. Was lucky to get a piece that does not have the usual misalignments. Thinking of buying the SSK001 soon. 😂😅
I own the SSK005 - the satsuma orange dial variant and I'd recommend it to any collector. Possibly not the colour to go for if it's your first or only watch but I've always wanted that SKX011 look and have it now. For me, summer is travel and I have a travel watch that's going to be so summery. I also think too much has been made of the friction bezel. It's fine and I'd prefer this to a unidirectional bezel that you see on other affordable GMTs - a GMT bezel isn't meant to be unidirectional. The negatives are few but obvious. Hardlex crystal, unsigned crown and a pressed clasp. A bit disappointing at just under €500 retail, but you kinda pay it for a big brand and Seiko are one of the biggest.
I had the Blueberry one for my birthday, never owned a Seiko watch before and was very surprised how nice they are. The bezel is awesome, in some light it looks black and other angles it’s a bright electric blue colour. It is a shame about the Hesalite crystal but it is harder than mineral....so they say The lume brightens is second to none Great review covering everything 👍
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
Bought the blueberry one or sometimes called the Batman in January, my second Seiko in my collection, and it turn out to be the one I wear everytime! I love it! Very good Lume compare to my other watches. Thank you for a great honest review.
Very happy with mine. I was expecting it to feel to big on my wrist, but was pleasantly surprised to find that it wears and feels smaller than the size might suggest. I usually wear maximum 40mm watches, but this is now my favourite daily driver.
Thanks to Teddy’s suggestion this is my first mechanical watch. I got the blueberry version and I absolutely love it. I have a small wrist yet it fits perfectly. I also bought a casio duro kermit as a daily beater. Cheers to Teddy🍻
fabulous news! my recent Seiko buy is an LX GMT spring drive. I love it. it's main purpose is to show me the time in my home country of Poland when I'm not there. that's why I chose the white-on-red GMT hand version. although the general purpose of a GMT is to ease keeping various times as you travel, I hesitate to actually travel with my new fav as I'd rather make sure everything on me is disposable when I travel. I really like the idea that this S5 can be my travel GMT, while I keep the LX as my home GMT. there's enough style and quality in this S5 to serve the purpose. I can have little concern about dumb loss, theft, damage. it may even be a good enough barter item to get out of a travel "situation." that's a fantasy of course. still, I like to think that a more likely scenario would be for it to be a shirt-off-your-back give opportunity to a friend or family ❤😎
Got the 001 and 005 when they came out from my AD. I fully agree with Teddy on his excellent review, the Mikan(001) gets almost daily wear, very comfortable size for my 7.5 wrist, very comfortable bracelet, getting the same anecdotal accuracy, and excellent lume. I like the friction bezel on this GMT watch, it functions perfectly for its intended use, no QC issues on both of mine that have the “Made in Japan” at 630. I would look for versions that have that “Made in Japan” script.
@@AlecGrinage I’m sorry to hear that my friend. Maybe it has been magnetized? That can be fixed by a watchmaker, or they could regulate it to improve the accuracy.
SSK005 my first automatic watch, not fond of bracelets so replaced with the black NATO strap which works well with the orange dial. Power reserve could be better but for the price it is a great watch :).
After eyeing it for months, I bought the SSK003 at the Grand Seiko boutique store in Osaka this week. Was $400 out the door & I couldn't be happier. Excited to get some hands & a different bracelet after the warranty expires. It is replacing my Casio EQS-500 after almost 11 years of use.
Soooo glad I found you and your website confidence in buying is priceless. Just ordered the ssk003 "Batman" from you. Keep up the good work and honest reviews.
My wife got me the SSK003 as a present last Christmas and I love this watch. I use it as a tool watch and it’s sits well under a suit shirt/cuffs during the working week, or alternatively it’s perfect when I go into London where I would think twice about security and wearing one of my luxury Swiss watches. Some of the early reviews of these GMTs were a little negative as they compared them to previous models but ignore those and the comparison.
Fell in love with the SSK001K1 Black GMT 5 when walking past a seiko boutique last year. Saw it again at the airport and was obsessed with it ever since. Went to an AD and got the SSK003K1 Blueberry instead from the recommendation of the salesman and my gf. So glad I got the blue version as it’s special and unique even though I wanted the black initially. It’s my 1st automatic watch too as I got myself the Tissot Tradition Chronograph 4 years ago when I got out of the army and went to university
These fly out of Macy's displays at a steady rate. Very good. Fantastic watch from Seiko. Sure, it's probably a fraction of the numbers Apple is selling with their computer watches (a.k.a. Apple Watch), but hey, I don't think automatic watches have ever been selling at this rate since the introduction of the Seiko 5 GMT.
I asked for and received the SSK021 for Fathers Day from my wife. It’s my first mechanical watch, I really wanted the GMT, couldn’t be happier with it. I’ll keep my Casio Royale for a daily driver and I like to wear my Seiko at home in the evenings and when going out for a nice dinner or the cinema.
Just purchased the SSK017 (Yellow dial) for less than $350.00 . It looks great on my pretty small wrists (Had to take out most of the adjustable links.). Absolutely love this watch, it's going to see a lot of use! Way to go, Seiko!!!
I think this year the Traska Venturer GMT with the new Miyota 9075 true GMT movement is also a great contender! And even though it was released more than a month ago two colours are still available.
I bought one as an impulse purchase the day they were available. (not a good idea!) It's been a regular addition to my rotation ever since. Good form and function. It's a keeper.
It's good to reward ourselves sometimes . While I'm not one to spend on high-end watch (I spend too much money on travel, lol), I can appreciate your gorgeous and timeless watch. I love how it's a symbol of all your hard work. And i choose NKUWAN every time honestly
was difficult to get the black dial for some time here in Miami, but once I finally did, man... really great piece. Now my favorite Seiko 5KX. If you're thinking, don't. Get whichever one is your favorite color and don't look back. With a plethora of great aftermarket bracelets like uncle straps, strap code, delugs, and more, you won't have a hard time finding the right bracelet for you if the jubilee isn't your thing.
Gifted by my wife the blue one. It is really amazing to look at, as the light reflection on the bezel, looks cool in person. A Seiko 5 with gmt, a game changer
I have the black and grey variant and I love it. The bracelet is a big con for me but I switched it for a black, white and red nato strap and it really changed everything
I have one and I love it. My other main watches are a Prospex LX SNR-033 and a Speedmaster (2022). The Seiko 5 does not pale. It’s on my wrist right now.
My SSK003 will be delivered tomorrow. Nice to learn I made a good choice after it happened. Thank you for the information, I always come away from your videos feeling as though I learned something. Very nicely done.😎
Hi Teddy: I have the SSK005 and it is a compliment magnet, I think it a great watch. Though maybe not a " True GMT' it is a great compilation to have. Seiko hit it out of the park with these. I also can say that the bracelet is very comfortable and a step up from many others. It also looks great and elevates the watch from simply sporty to a dressier sport watch. It looks great with a tee shirt and jeans as well as under the cuff of a sports jacket.
I got one of these discounted 20% in the January sales and I really like it. It was a bit confusing to set the GMT to begin with but I got used to it over the first couple of days. It does keep time better than my Cocktail Time. I swapped the bracelet for the grey and blue NATO from the Seiko shop and I think it improved how it looks quite a bit.
Wife just got me an early Father’s Day gift with 003 model. LOVE IT!!! So dang nice I hate to wear it cause I’m rough on watches but dang does it feel/wear Saweet!!
I have no real need for a GMT but these look so nice I just bought the Blueberry version off the back of seeing this video. Arrives tomorrow from Amazon via UK retailer Watchnation with a decent chunk off the RRP. 👍
Love this watch! Can’t get enough of it. This is my first true watch purchase. Thank you Teddy for the info on it. Now on to the next. PRX here I come !
As you mentioned, a few microbrands use the movement - I picked up a Nodus Sector GMT which uses it because I preferred the aesthetics and its marginally narrower case. It sacrifies the 3rd timezone but I only need to track 2.
I just bought the 019 version and I love it. Accuracy on this is very good much better than spec. Also power reserve is very good. As Teddy says this watch is not perfect but it is a great first GMT watch to your collection. Highly recommend.
I have this GMT; however, it did not stay running if I leave it for 24-30 hours without movement. Kind of disappointed I need to adjust the time every time when I not wearing for a day or so. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for sharing your ownership story!
Can you put the link of the strap you bought? Thank you
P.S. How many +/- seconds per day does your specimen do?
Did ppl compliment you???
@@evolution8662 What kind of question is that hahah
@@MozzarellaBasket He daud he caught the attention of some pl... So am asking did anyone compliment him......
Well done!
Where did you pick up the rubber strap?
could you put the price and the link of the Seiko rubber strap? Thank you.
P.S. How many +/- seconds per day does your specimen do?
Uncle seiko makes the best alternative for straps. Whatever you do, don’t buy from strapsco… absolute garbage rubber.
Hi, are the SSK collection watches automatic watches or mechanical?
@@hallvardfoh they are mechanical automatic.

Appreciate the review, love the channel.
yes the blue black dial color so pretty also grey too so nice i think i will get one
Same here, exact same watch, we have great taste! haha
I was right......I DID go for the 003!
I got the SSK001 for my anniversary. Absolutely love it, my first GMT. I added a strapcode clasp and it makes such a difference. 👌🏽
could you put the price and the link of the Strapcode you mounted? Thank you.
P.S. How many +/- seconds per day does your specimen do?
@@GANDALF-ml7ck Hi I already have a Strapcode bracelet for my SKX007 and just used the claps from that one. I think it was 18mm clasp. Sorry I haven't checked the accuracy yet.

I purchased the orange one and think it's an amazing watch. I think the bracelet that comes with it is just fine, but I switched it out with an orange silicon strap and I think it just looks amazing.
What is the model number at 2:00 (Grey dial)? Much appreciated.
Where did you get that? I'll be going later in the year and plan to do some watch shopping. Thank you in advance.
Bought mine for my60th birthday a month ago, best watch I have to date, courtesy of your comments and recommendations Teddy, I love it.
I got the blue/black one on sale $350! It’s really nice for the price and now I’m shopping for a ‘murph’
It is a shame about the Hesalite crystal but it is harder than mineral....so they say
The lume brightens is second to none
Great review covering everything 👍
My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from AMZWATCH
I bought all three for me and my sons. Great watches. Really like what seiko has done. I also own an skx and love it
Bought the blueberry one or sometimes called the Batman in January, my second Seiko in my collection, and it turn out to be the one I wear everytime! I love it!
Very good Lume compare to my other watches. Thank you for a great honest review.
How is it holding up? Was able to find one new at a low price point but that mineral crystal is really the only thing holding me back.
Got the ssk003 as the japanese domestic model (sbsc-003) whilst I was in Japan in an end of year sale for 320 USD last December!
Great value watch!
Got my Seiko Blueberry SKK and it is a start of my journey in the watch world!! Love the watch, the absolute best and worth every penny.
fabulous news! my recent Seiko buy is an LX GMT spring drive. I love it. it's main purpose is to show me the time in my home country of Poland when I'm not there. that's why I chose the white-on-red GMT hand version. although the general purpose of a GMT is to ease keeping various times as you travel, I hesitate to actually travel with my new fav as I'd rather make sure everything on me is disposable when I travel.
Mine is at +20 per day 😢
@@AlecGrinage I’m sorry to hear that my friend. Maybe it has been magnetized? That can be fixed by a watchmaker, or they could regulate it to improve the accuracy.
Bought one during my overseas trip and as my first mechanical watch, been super happy with.
Heres to a long marathon of watch collecting.
Got SSK001 as a birthday gift. Love every moment I wear it. Unfortunately the rotating bezel got stuck now, it cant be moved after four months.
Thanks for the review Teddy! I watched another review you did of this watch and bought the SSK005. It’s great value !
Is there a difference between the models with a K1 on the end of the model number? Is it that Made in Japan print on the dial?
I think this year the Traska Venturer GMT with the new Miyota 9075 true GMT movement is also a great contender! And even though it was released more than a month ago two colours are still available.
Just bought the all black one today and I absolutely love it!!! Hard to believe you’re getting that kind of accuracy from that price point
I bought one as an impulse purchase the day they were available. (not a good idea!) It's been a regular addition to my rotation ever since. Good form and function. It's a keeper.
Teddy you been hittin the weights recently bro? Arms lookin like cannons my man
It's good to reward ourselves sometimes .
I’m getting this watch because of you Teddy! It’s a Fabulous time piece, and looking forward to having it in my collection! Thanks Teddy, Matt👍😄
This is my first automatic watch. Purchased later year in September. Selected the orange color and absolutely love it.
Just got the blue one yesterday along with an Orient Kamasu. Very nice review thanks!
I have one and I love it. My other main watches are a Prospex LX SNR-033 and a Speedmaster (2022). The Seiko 5 does not pale. It’s on my wrist right now.
I’ve added one of these to my small, growing collection, too. Thank you for a great review (as usual)!
I think this is a very good watch to purchase to determine if you really do want a GMT or will use a GMT. Why spend $2k-$4k if you're not sure?
Appreciate your videos. So which color variation are you thinking about Teddy ? Do you sell rubber wristband as an alternative?
Beautiful watch in person. Got mine 45% off at Macy’s so about $295 (including tax). Unbelievable deal for a mechanical GMT, even a caller version.
My SSK003 will be delivered tomorrow. Nice to learn I made a good choice after it happened. Thank you for the information, I always come away from your videos feeling as though I learned something. Very nicely done.😎
How do you like it?
This is the first watch that I have ever bought and has got me into the hobby of collecting watches. I love it!
Literally was looking at this exact watch, idk how this video was so perfectly timed
Hi Teddy, after hearing your recommendation regarding the Seiko GMT I decided to purchase one. I always look forward to your video's.
Love this watch! Can’t get enough of it. This is my first true watch purchase. Thank you Teddy for the info on it. Now on to the next. PRX here I come !
Got 3 GMTs in 2022. The first additionst to my collection.
Bought the orange variant before Christmas, it was on offer at £240 ,no idea why. It is my first Seiko and it is worth the hype.
I have this GMT; however, it did not stay running if I leave it for 24-30 hours without movement. Kind of disappointed I need to adjust the time every time when I not wearing for a day or so. Thanks for the video.
